“Delicious food. Very, very good tomato pie, pizza, and other items (unfortunately they run out of tomato pie too early). Nice, courteous people working there. Problem is last time I went the music was so loud it was hard to have a conversation. I'd prefer some soft meditative music--I wonder how other customers feel. Are there any good songs about frogs--that seems appropriate given the frog figures displayed? Is there a song from Mr. Toad's Wild Ride? Or frog and swamp sounds perhaps?
They try to be inclusive, in the sense of treating their employees well, which is to be highly commended. In my mind, there are no inclusive restaurants in Ojai, since a lot of elderly people and others on lower incomes can't afford to eat out. A restaurant, the Green Table, in Santa Barbara, was truly inclusive. It had a bulletin board where people posted donations of meals to those who couldn't afford to eat at the restaurant. I would believe in inclusiveness if I saw that--otherwise, it's just words, not complete.

As a bonus, my son absolutely loved the blueberry muffin. It was fresh, delicious, and the perfect pairing with an already great coffee experience. Sometimes the simplest approach creates the best experience, and Beacon Coffee does that beautifully.”

“Dan closed the brewery down for the Ventura County Sportfishing Club holiday party event. 60-70 members/guests attended. The staff handled the party with aplomb and assured everyone enjoyed the evening. This is some of the best craft beer you can find. The food was amazing and plentiful especially the short ribs. I would encourage a visit for some great beers. And if you are having an event, I would strongly suggest working with these folks. These are some of the nicest people you will find at any establishment in Ventura. I will be a regular.”

I didn't see any food being offered , but there was a great band from LA playing Rock-a-billy\\ pulp fiction type music that were really good. Last call was at least 1 hour early and they closed early even thoughit was Saturday night and the place was packed. 12:30 instead of 2am. So that was not good , especially if your the owner. Otherwise for a small neighborhood bar it was ok.”

Every single one of the employees there was kind, gracious, and warm. The food was absolutely amazing and the Musical Bingo is so much fun! “I had jury duty at the Ventura courthouse and when I was through, I was starving so I decided to go to eggs and things I ordered the chorizo, scrambled eggs, and English muffin with strawberry raspberry preserves and then of course you get the Swedish pancake, which is exactly why I’m so obsessed with this place. The service was spectacular. I got iced tea to drink. I never waited for anything. Everything was always there. The owner of the of the restaurant was so nice. Make sure everything was good. Our waiter came and took our drink order. Malbec for me… so good, I had to ask what it was: Öko 🤤 and my husband ordered a smash berry something. THAT was SO BOMB! A hint of mint and full flavor of berries bursting bar god deliciousness! We ordered the butter board, now the presentation could use some work… I’m more about flavor and that butter (two options) was finger lickin good. The waiter took a few minutes to chat and told us it was pineapple butter. 🤯 it’s served with small pieces of… maybe focaccia bread (which btw alone was so good too). Meanwhile, the manager has his eye on everything. He saw the moment we put down our menus, and was there to ask is we has any questions. I did: there’s no house salad on the menu & he accommodated my request for one, which was a deciding factor for my main course. The SoCal Bolognese was bursting with flavor. This is new to the menu, we’ve been a few times… my husband is a fan, I was never impressed… until last night. The chorizo was spicy, but not overpowering, pasta cooked perfectly. The house salad could’ve used more tomatoes, but I really can’t complain since it’s not on the menu to begin with. My husband ordered the ahi steak on top of green beans and he said it was really good. It looked amazing, but I was in heaven with the butter board & the bolognese, my palate couldn’t handle the flavor overload 😜 After about 6 visits, I finally found something worth writing home about. For sure putting this place back into rotation. And the prices… very reasonable. Might be coming here a lot more. Everyone was super nice and helpful.”

“I went to Sbarro on Tuesday July 11, pacific view mall Ventura Ca; I'm a regular customer because I love the pizza that Alberto manager makes; and also the very kind, great and polite customer service by Sarah, she helps me a lot to choose the variety of foods everytime that I go.However yesterday was an other guy in the morning making pizzas and was so awful pizza, it was soggy and doesn't have consistency, the guy had all the displays full of pizza and he was in the phone with his earpods and he knew that many customers were in line and he didnt pay attention to us even our line was in front of him, he didnt care to Help Sarah, she was doing all the job and taking care of all of us the customers. She did awesome job yesterday because she could handle by herself the busy time and offering us a real good customer service even though the place was very busy.The manager should not allow the earpods during the working time specially the guy that was yesterday, he had no absolutely help behaviour to his co-workers and his pizza was horrendous.However I feel grateful with Sarah because she did an incredible job (she took orders, served sides, entries, served drinks and was being cashier at the same time) Sarah and Alberto are the kind of workers that make it worth visit Sbarro.”

“We had a great dinner at Prime for my birthday. We love the food & service. The only issue we had is we were charged $6 for club soda! I honestly feel this is way too much to charge a customer. We also sat at the table in front of the fireplace, it was raining & windy out, but the exit area in the patio where we were seated was the only area not covered from the cooler weather & the heater was broken. Luckily the fireplace kept a few of us warm but everyone else was cold. We would've moved but we were a party of 6 & had already ordered drinks and apps. & didn't want to get up and move.”

After calling Ventura and talking to the manager they agreed that next time we come in the meals would be on them. Well as time goes along some things get lost and today the wife found the receipt and called up the restaurant and talk to the manager his name is Nicholas. Well he did a great job he not only provided the meals for us but he was Very very cordial about it and thoroughly understanding he did a great job he made a lifetime customer with my wife and I and I appreciate his hard work and the good food that comes out of this restaurant thank you”

“Dan closed the brewery down for the Ventura County Sportfishing Club holiday party event. 60-70 members/guests attended. The staff handled the party with aplomb and assured everyone enjoyed the evening. This is some of the best craft beer you can find. The food was amazing and plentiful especially the short ribs. I would encourage a visit for some great beers. And if you are having an event, I would strongly suggest working with these folks. These are some of the nicest people you will find at any establishment in Ventura. I will be a regular.”

So I parked and a few minutes later someone told me I needed to go back through the drive through line. By the time I made it back through to the window my order was cold and they had to remake it. I was super annoyed but the staff was very understanding and gracious, and added a sweet treat to my order for the inconvenience. I don't usually get sweets but it was a nice gesture and I appreciate the effort the team made to make things feel right. Would definitely come back to this location.”

Tom Yum soup, Pad see ew(big flat noodles), and gyoza were good too. Very reasonable prices and they seem cheaper than other Thai restaurants. We will definitely come back here. Also where else can you find a Asian restaurant that open til Midnight in Ventura county.”
