To top it off, I treated myself to their strawberry sourdough scone--absolutely amazing, especially paired with a good cup of coffee! Ronan, the manager, was exceptional as well. The cafe is in one of the most out of the way locations off Johnson Road in Ventura, and it appears that they are the last surviving restaurant in what was once a thriving food court, so make your day and satisfy your appetite at Seed Ranger. A delightful mom and pop authentic Thai vibe. (Lived in Thailand for 3 years). Cute and very clean space. Food was DELICIOUS with a wonderful balance of flavors. I felt full yet light on my stomach. They have $10 cocktails on the happy hour menu and we went on a Saturday around 4:45 (reserved the time) - pleasant surprise to see happy hour on a weekend! Overall, I thought the food was delicious and the cocktails are strong and tasty. The service was also fast and friendly - loved the timing of how each course was brought out. It is on the pricier side and the portions are not super large but if you want a nice treat in a very cute space, it's worth a try!”

“I was first introduced to Bright Spark In March at the Ventura Beer Experience. We talked with a lovely couple behind the table and tasted Day Trip, which has become my all-time favorite. We were introduced to a concept called Musical Bingo that day, and I was delighted to make my first visit to the brewery on my 55th birthday in May. Every single one of the employees there was kind, gracious, and warm. The food was absolutely amazing and the Musical Bingo is so much fun! I have since been dragging people left and right there and recommending you guys because of what a great laid back family-friendly atmosphere it is. I will be back again and again and again. and I will bring everyone I can with me! 😊🎶🤘🏼”

Sweet potato fries - excellent, and I tried their new cinnamon sugar pita chips - WOW! Tahini Shake is super tasty. My only recommendation on the shake is that they need larger (circumference) straws. A regular straw is too narrow for this thick shake. Thank you for coming to Surprise, you are a GREAT addition to the area❣”

We placed the order and for food arrived within 10 minutes. The portions are generous and the food taste pretty decent too. The prices are reasonable, and they have some great smoothies and iced teas to choose from is APPLE parking in front and behind the restaurant. This is a family restaurant and they are plenty of tables for you to dine in or takeout. They also have a restroom for customers.”

They have $10 cocktails on the happy hour menu and we went on a Saturday around 4:45 (reserved the time) - pleasant surprise to see happy hour on a weekend! Overall, I thought the food was delicious and the cocktails are strong and tasty. The service was also fast and friendly - loved the timing of how each course was brought out. It is on the pricier side and the portions are not super large but if you want a nice treat in a very cute space, it's worth a try!”

“I went to Sbarro on Tuesday July 11, pacific view mall Ventura Ca; I'm a regular customer because I love the pizza that Alberto manager makes; and also the very kind, great and polite customer service by Sarah, she helps me a lot to choose the variety of foods everytime that I go.However yesterday was an other guy in the morning making pizzas and was so awful pizza, it was soggy and doesn't have consistency, the guy had all the displays full of pizza and he was in the phone with his earpods and he knew that many customers were in line and he didnt pay attention to us even our line was in front of him, he didnt care to Help Sarah, she was doing all the job and taking care of all of us the customers. She did awesome job yesterday because she could handle by herself the busy time and offering us a real good customer service even though the place was very busy.The manager should not allow the earpods during the working time specially the guy that was yesterday, he had no absolutely help behaviour to his co-workers and his pizza was horrendous.However I feel grateful with Sarah because she did an incredible job (she took orders, served sides, entries, served drinks and was being cashier at the same time) Sarah and Alberto are the kind of workers that make it worth visit Sbarro.”

Our waiter came and took our drink order. Malbec for me… so good, I had to ask what it was: Öko 🤤 and my husband ordered a smash berry something. THAT was SO BOMB! A hint of mint and full flavor of berries bursting bar god deliciousness! We ordered the butter board, now the presentation could use some work… I’m more about flavor and that butter (two options) was finger lickin good. The waiter took a few minutes to chat and told us it was pineapple butter. 🤯 it’s served with small pieces of… maybe focaccia bread (which btw alone was so good too). Meanwhile, the manager has his eye on everything. He saw the moment we put down our menus, and was there to ask is we has any questions. I did: there’s no house salad on the menu & he accommodated my request for one, which was a deciding factor for my main course. The SoCal Bolognese was bursting with flavor. This is new to the menu, we’ve been a few times… my husband is a fan, I was never impressed… until last night. The chorizo was spicy, but not overpowering, pasta cooked perfectly. The house salad could’ve used more tomatoes, but I really can’t complain since it’s not on the menu to begin with. My husband ordered the ahi steak on top of green beans and he said it was really good. It looked amazing, but I was in heaven with the butter board & the bolognese, my palate couldn’t handle the flavor overload 😜 After about 6 visits, I finally found something worth writing home about. For sure putting this place back into rotation. And the prices… very reasonable. Might be coming here a lot more. Everyone was super nice and helpful.”

After calling Ventura and talking to the manager they agreed that next time we come in the meals would be on them. Well as time goes along some things get lost and today the wife found the receipt and called up the restaurant and talk to the manager his name is Nicholas.
