“Recently went and although the food and waiter staff were great, we were expecting what we seen on here. There was no performances. An empty space. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.”
“Amazing vibes at Saucey! 🍕✨ Fresh ingredients, fun build-your-own pizzas, and killer cocktails. Perfect spot to chill with friends and enjoy great times. Can’t wait to be back! 🎉🍸”

“How is it possible that I didn’t review 4747lic here before?!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Every time I go there for weekend brunch, I have to return for dinner! I just can’t get enough of the place. Their Dutch baby “Primadonna” pancake and lobster roll are to die for. Much of what is on the menu it’s imported from Italy of the finest ingredients. It’s always fun to take the ferry across from Manhattan to the Pepsi Cola Sign and walk a couple of blocks. They can accommodate large groups, children, pets, wheelchairs, (you name it) at their outdoor seating. Run there. 😊💕”
“Had a wonderful time here with my twin sister. There’s a beautiful view of manhattan. Great vibes. And they were very mindful of my sisters severe gluten allergy.”

“This is the best omakase experience we’ve ever had! The fish was so fresh and you can tell the chefs put a lot of thought behind the flavor of each piece. We came here for my boyfriends birthday and they truly made it a special experience. We couldn’t stop raving about how good it was and will absolutely be back. From the sushi to the service, everything was so amazing. I hope one day they offer takeout experiences because I can tell it would be amazing quality. Thank you!”

“I was craving some dumplings and I walked by Chairman Sun and saw their menu had just what I wanted!
The Pork Soup Dumplings were a 5/5. Full of flavor and the perfect texture. The soy sauce and flavor of the pork matched perfectly.
My Scallion Cucumber salad was a perfect flavor profile for me as a I love a garlic moment. The dressing was drinkable…and the cucumber cuts were hardy and a perfect fresh bite.
Lastly, the spring rolls, solid and great flavor.
Kind staff and great ambience.
Loved my time here!”
“I enjoyed the food and the music playing in the back. They had a good variety of food and drinks. I highly recommend getting their chicken & Lu Rou rice and apple cider soda. Their dine in is in the back where the speakeasy is located.”

“Excelente sazón y CONSISTENCIA en la misma quizás uno de los mejores restaurantes de comida ecuatoriana en los últimos 3 años en la ciudad de New York . Lugar muy limpio, espacioso , baños impecables, amplio estacionamiento y el sabor de la comida es realmente auténtico , lo único q podría mejorar es la atención un poco caótica y desorganizada pero en general todos los meseros son amables, vayan por ahí no se arrepentirán!”

“We've been to more DnD/BR locations than I could ever count and this is easily one of our favorites. Even though it's part of a busy Food Bazaar food court, they always keep it clean and they're always super friendly (especially to our kids). There are 2 small tables inside, 4 small ones outside in the food court, and about 10 shared picnic style tables (that seat 4-8 people each). The free underground parking on a hot day is a huge bonus!”
“The sweetest, most caring employees. Always make sure nobody feels rushed while also making sure everyone’s orders get out in a timely manner. Food is authentic - great lunch deals for when you’re in a rush but want a complete meal. It’s open 24hrs hence at times it’s a little slower bc there is less staff but overall, always a pleasure doing business with them ?✨??”
“Definitely the smartest idea to have a late night food spot in this area, since everything is kind of far for someone with no method of transpo. Place is clean, food is all on display no flies or anything, deli guy does what you ask all while being sanitary just dont overload him with directions lol, prices are reasonable as well”
“This local market is great. I live on this block so they’re very convenient and I go to them for a lot. Snacks, smoothies, paninis, drinks and most recently pasta. I was really surprised, but the linguine carbonara was fantastic! And the price is great. And the staff is always friendly. We’ve been going here for 8 years now.
Give it a try!”
“I've been here a few times. See the same staff every time, and they're great. I got the chirashi once, and now it's all I get. The fish in it is the best I've ever had. Great selection, huge pieces, super fresh, fair price. You won't be disappointed!”
“Saturday evening live jazz music is fantastic!”
Takeout Restaurants
“Great place for everyone, including vegans and vegetarians! Food is delicious and if you order coffee, they give it to you fresh in a French press. All gender bathroom is clean and has the cutest sink I've ever seen, will be back to eat at this restaurant again!”
“Unbelievably good Italian food! Only thing I’m upset about is the fact I’ve wanted to eat here for 3 years and never actually went inside to eat! This place is a hidden gem. This is real quality Italian food, cooked and served by the same family since the 70s. The hosts, waiters and staff truly care about your dining experience and it really shows. Everything and I mean everything we ate was top notch. I got the carbonara my wife got the chicken parmigiana. I loved mine! Huge portions, quality ingredients. You can just taste everything in your food. The calamari was delicious, nice big calamari with a light breading and the marinara sauce is a real homemade sauce. You will not regret eating here I promise you that! They have a huge wine list and are very knowledgeable and willing to help you make a selection. I love the old school ambiance and the fireplaces are a beautiful touch! Prices are very reasonable! Actually kinda cheap compared to many other restaurants down here. I can’t wait to go back!”
“We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. Really worth it”
“what the fish is definitely a place you wanna come to if you’re looking for good food, great vibes, bumping music, and club energy. the team is incredibly hardworking and welcoming. this is the second time we’re celebrating my dads birthday here and he loves it. 15/10 recommend!”

“great spot in LIC for authentic & delicious sichuan/hunan food! liam was our server & recommended the changsha spiced chicken and it was a hit! kevin, our bartender, let us sample his rosemary infused tequila, and it was the perfect way to the the meal. will definitely come back the next time i’m in the area :)”

“I came here on Friday, the bartenders offered top notch customer service (wish i had gotten their names). No need to go to overrated jazz clubs, this place has it all in one cozy spot plus classic, fun and enjoyable high quality Jazz that I am always looking for; i found it that night listening to Benjamin on Sax & Cristobal on Bass, Sacha Perry on the Piano and Sean on Drums. Hope to hear them play there again soon!”
“Best restaurant in Queens? Check. Best Korean restaurant in NYC? Very possible. Healthy for your gut biome? Alleged, but compelling.
Myself and some close friends booked the place to ourselves, which certainly lent itself to the experience. Attentive and competent staff led us in, while Chef Hooni guided us on a culinary journey for the next few hours that flew by.
Experiencing is believing, and this is an experience well worth your time and money.”
“Great food for incredible value! I used to come here 4-5 times a week for lunch when I worked in the area. Now I go whenever I have the chance. It’s just a better version of chipotle all around - better ingredients, free guac and queso, and overall much cheaper too. The guys that work there are very nice as well. I highly recommend going!!”
“This place is incredible! The owner was extremely nice and welcomed us with complimentary falafel samplers while we waited. They turned out to be some of the best falafels I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside.
For our main meals, my wife and I ordered the combo over rice and the chicken over rice. The portions are massive; the owner really filled the boxes up to the brim. The meat was well-seasoned, juicy, and paired perfectly with the rice and sauces. Excellent food, massive portions, and top-tier hospitality. We will definitely be back!”
“Took us a while to find the place, it’s on the second floor of the food court. We made a reservation but we were the only ones at the restaurant. You have to buy alcoholic drinks at the bar downstairs and they have a decent selection of draft beers. Food was good quality but tiny pieces for our taste so we added a roll combo to our 16 piece omakase and polished with some mochi ice cream cups from downstairs shop. Overall it was a very nice evening!”
“Our recent private family birthday bash at Manducatis Rustica was wonderful! I can not thank Gianna enough for her time in planning the menu and offering to prepare anything my family likes. The food was delicious and abundant , the staff was attentive and kind, the tables were set beautifully. It was like being in my own home -warm and friendly without me doing all the work . I will be returning for dinner often! Bravo to Gianna and all her staff at Manducatis Rustica !”

Last but not least, il proprietario Cristiano, gentile, educato, professionale, simpatico e generoso. Un posto da non perdere, infatti non vediamo l’ora di tornare…aspettateci! ****** English We bumped into Santa Chiara Cafe by chance and after it became our favourite place for breakfast but not only…it is clean and elegant in classic italian style with a great view towards the Manhattan skyline. The staff is nice, polite and very skilled. Food and drinks are top quality with modest price. However, we want to tell you more; favourite food, among the others, are croissants, tart and all the deliciuos small cakes. Not to mention the excellent homemade ice creams. Nothing is left to chance, also our pet friends were super happy to taste the eccellent cookies. Special mention to Enzo who makes the best omelette in town. Last but not least, the owner Cristiano: polite, kind, nice, professional and very generous. Highly reccomended place, not to be missed, we are looking forward to go back again…wait for us!”
“DELICIOUS!!!
I ordered two types of dumplings and buns, and after about 15 minutes, everything came out looking beautiful — and tasting just as good. Everything was fresh, juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
Not gonna lie, when we walked in, I wasn’t sure we should stay because the place was completely empty, and it looked like the only person there was the owner. But we decided to give it a chance, and I’m so glad we did.
I’ll definitely be back.”
“This is, by far, the best cafe in town, in my opinion. Home made croissants with all kinds of add ons like eggs, bacon, ham, peach seasonal fruits etc etc etc. One of a kind, James Beard award recipient chef Ghaya takes her time and skills and puts it on the table every single day. Baking starts in the very early morning hours to perfection. French toast on the weekends! Chicken sandwiches as well wow!! Service is outstanding, the place is immaculately clean, one block away from the subway. Oh, and the pastries are incredible! You will return, I promise!”
“Definitely my go-to spot for the special sauerkraut soup. The spice level is just right—not too mild, not overpowering—and the broth is rich and flavorful. The setting is very casual, which makes it easy to just drop in and enjoy a comforting meal. They even have a little robot helping with the service, which is a fun and cute touch.”
“We are visiting from Miami and stumbled upon this hidden gem. We ordered blueberry pancakes , 2 egg platers and a breakfast sandwich and everything was a 10/10. I got myself a mushroom coffee which was interesting , very good as well. The place is small and homey. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They have a variety of options on the menu & they even have vegan protein powder to make shakes. The hash browns and eggs were delicious and were not greasy at all. Fast service . If you are looking for some good breakfast or quick sandwich / wrap / smoothies check them out .”
“Multi-sweet is an INCREDIBLE cake shop and the owner Amber is so sweet! We ordered a two tier cake for our great gatsby themed wedding (matcha / yuzu and black sesame / taro) and WOW did she deliver! The decoration was incredible and it tasted even better!! So moist and fluffy, not too sweet but so flavorful. I'm very picky with my black sesame because most places don't get the potency right but this was one of the best cakes i've ever had! We tried 5-6 of their flavors and everything is delicious so you really cannot go wrong.
For everyone who's had a bad experience with frozen cakes it may likely due to not giving it enough time to defrost. When we first ordered an 8 inch cake for our friend's birthday lunch. We picked up the cake she made the night before at 11am and didn't give it enough time to defrost. However after we let the cake sit all day to defrost, the cake ended up being so delicious we decided to go with multisweet for our wedding.
If you do decide to cater multisweet for your wedding I would recommend having her come onsite with catering and bring the cake. We used uber courier and while the cake arrived in perfect shape with no problem from multisweet's end, there was stress coordinating with the uber courier the day of.
Ultimately all of our guests were raving about the cake & wanted to bring slices home, we'll definitely be ordering here many more times!”
“This is the best sushi place in LIC. when you walk in the workers and chefs are welcoming, attentive and super friendly. The miso soup tastes fresh and coconut curry was great! The salmon lovers sushi and sashimi was delicious ad so were the specialty rolls! will eat again!!”
“Here for the view and chill vibe. I recently this place for a chill afternoon/ evening to catch up with friends. Was busy Friday evening. It’s clean and moderate loud so you can talk. Had ćevapi and was delicious. View is amazing for sunset.”
“Authentic Thai chicken rice that tastes just like back home. The portion was generous! The dipping sauce was so good. Don’t miss the salted egg ice cream, it was unique and delicious.”
“Omurice is the best I’ve had in New York City, would be back here very soon! Make sure to get it with the mini hamburger patty it is worth it. Servers are super friendly and the vibes are great in the restaurant. Definitely recommend!”
“food is so good! the staff is lovely. very welcoming and inviting.”
“If You’re in the area, it’s a good hangout place. It’s good to watch games and/or have a good meal. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.”
“Ate out at the patio.really nice spot to eat outdoors during nice weather. Service was really good all the servers were very friendly and kept checking on us. Food is good value for money, not super authentic Calcutta but good value for money for sure. Service was the highlight. Very efficient and very friendly”
“It’s my favorite restaurant of all time. The service is amazing, every time I’m there I’m threaded like a queen and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Always my go to place”
“fantastic food, but horrible service. AND they force an 18% gratuity on all parties”

“OMG Five ✨ I loved the options, the prices, the camaraderie of the staff! Food was sooo well priced, you pick your portion size and how it’s cooked!! Get the Greek salad but plan to share with a few friends. I’ll be back!!”

“I loved the Queens Workshop about famous and accomplished women in Queens. It was so cool learning about women's history in an interactive way. I can't wait to attend a workshop like this in the future.”

“First time here and it was amazing. Service is great food is clean and fresh. Salad dressing taste as if they made it for the order and the clear soup is probably the best in NYC. The wait staff is super friendly always smiling all while attentive to detail. Thank you Dai Hachi for the amazing clean food. We will definitely come back. Thank you Nisha our waitress for you welcoming and friendly demeanor.”

“Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had in a while.
Last night I ordered from Thai Tree through Seamless and an hour passed with no update. I called to check in and got pulled into a back-and-forth — turns out they’d been slammed with a large party and hadn’t seen my order come through on their end. The woman I spoke with was trying her best, but the wires were crossed. She said she’d call me back.
About thirty minutes later, a gentleman called, apologized sincerely, and gently asked if I’d be willing to cancel. I told him I couldn’t, not through Seamless (if you’ve ever tried to get a refund from them, you know exactly what I mean). He said, okay, let me see what I can do.
It was late. He asked if I still wanted the order. I said yes — I still wanted my order. And no, I couldn’t come pick it up — I was home, sick, and at that point the Uber to go get an $80 order would’ve run me another $20. He said he’d figure it out.
They made it. They delivered it. And it was, without exaggeration, some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life.
I’m a business owner. I understand what a night like that looks like from the inside, and I know how easy it is for things to fall through the cracks. What matters is how you handle it — and they handled it. Five stars across the board. As soon as my schedule clears, I fully intend to come in and sit down for a proper dinner.”

“I came here yesterday for dinner, and I really like the cozy environment and how nice and organized the staff were to us. The food here is amazing and my favorite, especially the beef and tofu.”
“Easy to understand menu with lots of typical Thai dishes to choose from. When we were their, there was only one staff taking orders, serving dishes and making drinks, but there was no long wait. Food quality is mixed, some of our dishes were really good but some not spicy tasteful, one fried shrimp even tasted stale. I'd say between 3 and 4 stars.”
“Not-so-secret speakeasy with peak vibes. DJ on Friday nights, but on Thursdays and Sundays Andres will hook you up with some solid cocktails, both on and off the menu. Just ask. Could not ask for better service and genuine conversation.”
“My son who is a picky eater slurped the broth and ate the karaage. The ramen had a good chew to it too :)”
“Came by for Sunday brunch. Welcomed and seated by a hostess at the bar with a smile. I recognized the bartender/ server - Diego, from my past visit and so did he. A friendly guy with smiles who walked me thru his fav’s - which I asked for. I thoroughly enjoyed my mocktail, Tiradito de Tuna, shrimp ceviche, corn ribs, fish tacos and Tres leches…😋🫶‼️Great energy in the room with live DJ. This place wins for its “presentation” of any dish with flavors! Great food and friendly staff. This is my nth visit and will frequent it. Ty for making my day off…😉😋👏🫶‼️”
“We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. “Sweet and amazing costumer service, very polite and understanding with questions about the menu. Drink and onigiri were amazing and delicious would definitely come back <3”
“Ms Ivy T,Delgado artist lived in dutch kills for a time,I used it wisely ,making art piece's in wood ,different forms of clay, canves, pictures in light ,form motion color, time, life, and so much more, now at 1260Sedgwick Ave Beronx10452 Room214D,let her know how you like her work.thank you.”
“We were seated at the table right next to the window when it was -4 F outside even there were many warm tables inside :(
Anyway the food was good, I will go back for sure and please seat us inside.”
“We had the best pre cruise visit since we were staying nearby at a hotel. Both bartenders were excellent and the regular customers! Made us “southerners” feel comfy and offered up ideas and suggestions of navigating the concrete jungle! If we ever return to NY, we will definitely be back. Awesome food! Awesome service! Excellent drinks. Made our trip!!”
“The noodles and sauce are out of this world. Their combo portions are insane. And their freshness and quality is always consistent! Hands down kyodong noodles serves the best jjm in all of new york!”
“The best empanadas outside Argentina. The steaks are truly amazing. Great wine list and wonderful cocktails. Very friendly and attentive wait staff.”
“spectacular!! more than a meal, a work of art, even better, an education on Japanese cuisine, especially the art of eating sushi. Omakase is the way to go at Koyo!!”
“YYMMY FOODDXCCHHH so many different choices to choose from and u can get food from the different “restaurants” in there on the same order. Has a lot of online orders coming in so service is a tad slow”
“Authentic Cantonese cuisine. I was brought up in Guangzhou and these dishes here are the same delicious as the ones I had back in Guangzhou.”
“There's a Fat Cat Flatbread in here, and if you've never had it before it's a must try. Delicious, flaky goodness, very much recommend the pork floss with salty egg filling.
They also reheat wonderfully”
“My experience at record room was a good one. The service was good food as well if I have any negative think to say is i felt like the venue was small and could have been much bigger. Outside of that the Decor is great. Music was really good.”
“😀I have known Manetta's Ristorante since 1990's and have been going there. Food is always excellent and the prices are good. The staff and servers are pleasant. Lisa is always friendly and accommodating --- greeted me and my hubby with a pleasant smile and also checked up to make sure that everything was fine during the course of our meal. Server, Jasmine waited on us a couple of times --- one of it was today, 2/9/2024. We were happy with her service and everything else. Our overall experience with Manetta's Ristorante is excellent. I highly recommend.”
“I've been here several times for dinner with my preschool-aged son and just went today for lunch. It's been a treat each time. I try a different side dish from their rotating menu on each visit, and I haven't been disappointed yet. Everything on their menu has been just the right savory, harmonious amount of flavor without being overly salty or overdone in any way. My son and I also love the fresh tofu. The staff has been very courteous, and everything is reasonably priced. I hope they stay around in LIC because there aren't very many restaurants like this that make things so comfortable in every way. I seldom dine out but I'd eat here anyday.”
“Spicy chicken cold noodle was really tasty!!! Flavorful but well balanced. The bitter melon salad was surprisingly good told. Lamb noodle was just ok not too special. Overall a solid place”
“Met friends for dinner, it was perfect! We found food for everyone with variety of food desires. Very friendly staff! Cute restaurant on the inside, outdoor seating looked nice too.
Highly recommend for reasonably priced sit-down meal!”
“This place and the chef/ owner are the best things that ever happened to Astoria. Music oh boy oh boy.”
“Incredible spot! The drink menu is so unique, and you can really taste the quality and effort in every cocktail. Each drink tells a story and the flavors are spot on. Highly recommend if you care about the craft of mixology.”
“Good music. Delicious appetizers. The paella valenciana for 2 was great! Will be returning.”
“My husband and I have eaten here twice: both times we’ve enjoyed delicious pizza, pasta, wine, coffee, and desserts. The staff are attentive and kind without hovering. Most recently, a couple and their young son were having dinner too. Beebe’s is a great choice for so many different people and families.”
“Absolutely delicious! I had the mango latte, which was perfect and not overly sweet, and the mushroom/goat cheese crepe. I also tried the mango crepe, which was perfect. I highly recommend this place.”
“We came here after being directed from another bar because our group was too big, and what a great intervention from the universe. We immediately got a standing table for our group of 10+ and our host Genevieve welcomed us so warmly and so attentively, especially for my husband celebrating his birthday. Probably about 20 mins later, a table opened up and she was able to get our group seated, and get extra chairs from outside wiped from the rain.
The cocktails were great, our group had a bunch of the Grey Garden (Earl Grey-infused gin-based drink) and our host recommended other yummy cocktails, they had a handful of tea-infused ones that tasted great.
We thought we’d just stay for a drink or two but ended up staying for four hours until 2am. Another table ended up buying us a round of shots back and forth with us! This bar was good vibes all around, with great drinks, a great bartender, and amazing host - shout out for our great time, Genevieve!”
“Delicious coffee and fresh baked goods; the gelato also looks enticing. It's also a pleasant place to sit for a while and do some work.
One minus is that they don't have skim milk.”
“Great Korean food! I’ve been to many of the "go-to" spots in Manhattan and Flushing, and Kuku is right up there with the best of them. The beef bulgogi and grilled chicken were delicious and very flavorful. Perfect portions and a great addition to the Roslyn dining scene. Highly recommended!”
“Cody the bartender is nice. Staff very friendly and the vibe is so nice, especially as it provides something different in this neighborhood. Nice happy hour, too.”
“Everything is good ! The food, the drinks, the vibes ! The ONLY thing that was a bit of problem was that we had to wait almost a whole hour for some hookah ! Other than that good experience”
“perfect service again by Ambrose, always recommend him and Prems.”
“Nice environment and really good tasting of varieties Japanese dishes. One of the best recommended is that grilled pork belly and I love Mentaiko, cold tofu, TamashiKama and chicken skin. Nice and charming servers and service is incredible.”

“I’ve lived around the corner for years and finally stopped in a couple months ago to watch the Yankees. It’s great! The bartenders are friendly.
The food from here is killer, too. Did not think the bar food would hit the way it did. I’ve now had most things on the menu. It’s all fire.
It’s my go to bar in the neighborhood!”
“Best wings ever, and we've eaten a LOT of wings! Thai chili wings were perfect; sweet and spicy, BIG and juicy. Elli and Fernando are great. Highly recommend!”

“Good food, good services, great vibes! What else do you need. I had the flautas (tacos dorados) and added their house made green sauce for a little kick and a delicious margarita. 10/10 mom and pop authentic Mexican restaurant.”
“Superb dining experience! I was provided a single table for myself without any hassle. The duck was crispy, generous portions, and the rice was well-cooked. I really favored the golden chopsticks and utensils. I asked to keep them but was told no, unfortunately. My only complaint was that it look nearly 25 minutes for the preparation of my meal.”
“Family run, hidden gem in the basement of a condo complex in LIC. It's very hidden, you need to go down a flight of stairs and through an unassuming hallway until you reach a door with signage, where I rang the doorbell.
Inside it's more like walking into a kitchen than a cafe or bakery, there's no seating or counter to order at. I was greeted by a very lovely woman who I assume owns the business. There were menus on the wall for me to pick macarons from. I got a box of 6. The owner was super friendly and sweet! The whole experience felt like supporting a local, family run operation.
The macarons themselves were amazing! Some of the best I've had in the city. Adorable and skillfully done, stuffed full of filling, super soft, and accurate to the flavor it's promises (vanilla, strawberry, etc). Very reasonably priced too.
Highly recommend checking out this spot!”
“I was here a couple weeks ago. Very welcoming and friendly. I came here by myself sat at the bar. The attention to detail was there, the bartender was great with information on Japanese whiskey and cocktails. The dessert was blew my tastes bud away.”
“Ordered this for dinner tonight and it was absolutely delicious. The food was so tasty and fresh, and they’re generous with protein. Can’t wait to order again!
I got: golden shrimp rolls, Thai dumplings and street doodle with duck 10/10!!!!”

“We returned on a visit to McLoughlins 38 years after it was the initial beacon on my arrival in the USA. From there I linked up with my friends , got a contact for a job , heard about accommodation going for rent and bumped into old friends. It created a network and a safety net for a whole generation of Irish immigrants. John is carrying on the traditional welcome provided by his father and uncle. He could not have been more helpful or kind as well as having that natural gift of the gab good barmen possess. Drinks were also fine”
“Good food prices are lower than most stores around. there buffet is cheaper per lb. Then the Food cellar supermarket 4-5 blocks down the block. I can’t believe all the negative reviews that’s not my opinion!!! I have been living in LIC since April I go at least twice a week for lunch better the most places in the area wish buffet was re stocked for dinner and Millie her self is a nice person some times people are just to critical 🤷♂️”

“If you're looking for authentic Greek food and pastries, Meri's Bakeshop is an absolute gem. As someone who is half Greek and grew up eating homemade Greek food, I can honestly say this is the best Greek bakery and food I've had anywhere in the United States.
Everything we tried was exceptional, from the Greek cookies to the baklava and spanakopita and tiropita. You can taste the quality, tradition, and care in every bite. Even better, Meri creates fresh specials daily, so there's always something new and delicious to try.
What truly sets this place apart is Meri herself. She is one of those rare people who instantly makes you feel like family the moment you walk through the door!! Her warmth, hospitality, and passion for sharing Greek culture shine through in everything she does.
Meri's Bakeshop feels like stepping into someone's home for a meal. The food is incredible, but it's the combination of authentic flavors and genuine hospitality that makes it so special. This is the kind of place you find once and then tell all your friends about- I can't wait to go back!”

“I just moved to newyork last week and have been trying a new coffee shop everyday! This one is my absolute FAV 😭 I may need to stop my search. The 2 guys working are so friendly, the cafe is beautiful and has a calming presence to it, lots of seating and super clean. You can tell they use top tier ingredients for everything.”
“I stopped by for my afternoon coffee just asked from Google when I was driving and she brought me here . Nice and cool concept of grab&go a small tiny place I got a good Cappuccino and a hazelnut croissant it was very good also a barista looks professional he knew how to make good coffee ☕️”
“Amazing food, super friendly staff, and honestly, with this crazy heat, having that nice, cool indoor seating area in the middle of the building is a lifesaver.
Plus, Bonchon is right next to Birch Coffee—chicken followed by an iced coffee literally feels like a mini-vacation! 🍻🍻
Also, Crunch Club members just got a $5 off code good for 3 days. Not sure if I'm supposed to share, but pick up your order with it and it’s incredibly cheap.😍😍😍”
“I recently visited Spanglish in Astoria, and I have to say that the service was a perfect 10 out of 10. The nachos and tacos were fantastic, but the drinks were the highlight of my experience. I highly recommend this place! Our waitress, Irene, was incredibly impressive.”
