“Beautiful cafe! Even the dishes are part of the design, everything this eye candy :) the food was decent too. Be careful with the noir latte because your lips become black as ash”
“My first time visit, honestly don’t know what to say. Their Dan Dan noodles are the BEST i had so far in LIC. Hoping to visit soon and try other amazing dishes!”

“Love this place! Excellent service, great food, wonderful environment! I’m going back. Love the moctels!!!!Great experience!”
“Great small and quaint bar next to the 7 line this was like my fourth time frequenting this wine bar. The bar itself is very cozy and with unique decor. Besides serving many wines they have cocktails with unique names and beers. We were there for happy hour and had wine with a spread. We also ordered a charcuterie plate. We enjoyed playing a card game and stayed until the jazz performers played their numbers. We really enjoyed our night.”

“My first time here and the girl working there was good with helping me choose a kimchi, although I was disappointed that sampling wasn’t an option, especially for the price that they’re charging. Very happy with my choice of radish kimchi, but it’s pretty expensive and not a place I could go to regularly.”
“Great view, and great staff, there were always long lines for the 2 bathrooms though. I also do NOT recommend the margaritas, they are pre-batched with some nasty mixers. Stick to the 1&1 (vodka soda, gin tonic etc), or beer. Our friends did order the burger, and it looked and smelled amazing.”
“Fantastic gem in LIC. Great authentic flavors and extensive menu. Fun cocktails too!! Highly recommend the black jack beef, Mongolian lamb, Changsha chicken and dragon eye for dessert. Amazing. Liam was our server and was very attentive, personable and gave great recommendations. Check it out!”
“I was first introduced to Carla's two years ago and I have been dreaming of both their Hibiscus Margaritas and Grilled Corn Romaine Salad ever since. YES A SALAD!
Happy to say I finally had the opportunity to return for an intimate birthday celebration and everything was just how I remembered it.
Cute and quaint, with good service and food, a great vibe!
Without a doubt I absolutely ordered the roasted corn salad. It has tomatoes, avocado, roasted corn, Romain lettuce, and an amazing dressing. I added the pan seared chicken. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy, and extremely tender, not overdone. The salad was magical just as I remembered it. In addition the guac was fresh and the Hibiscus Margs was a tasty way to wash it all down.
It's amazing how I dream about this salad. It's a good thing I don't live close because I would have no problem factoring in this salad which is a little pricey into an almost daily budget. Lol.
Needless to say I will not be reminiscing about this salad for two years again. I will be back sooner than you think.
A special thanks to our server, whom was a one man show the whole night.
Just A Note:
Parking can be a bit of a challenge and Carla's is tiny but mighty and absolutely worth it!”

“We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. Really worth it”
“Has to now be one of my favorite cocktail bars in New York City. Tucked in an industrial Street in Long Island city it also a club on the weekends right next-door. They serve super innovative and creative cocktails that pushed the boundaries of textures and flavors. We love the presentation in the atmosphere upon entering the establishment. But the service and the drinks were what blew us away. The music was also very interesting and some tracks were even nostalgic. If you have some time, please stop by and support this speakeasy cocktail bar. The prices are a little bit more on the expensive side as you will be paying about $19-$20 per drink, but for the complexity taste and ambience. It is well worth it.”
“Our recent private family birthday bash at Manducatis Rustica was wonderful! I can not thank Gianna enough for her time in planning the menu and offering to prepare anything my family likes. The food was delicious and abundant , the staff was attentive and kind, the tables were set beautifully. It was like being in my own home -warm and friendly without me doing all the work . I will be returning for dinner often! Bravo to Gianna and all her staff at Manducatis Rustica !”
“Came by for Sunday brunch. Welcomed and seated by a hostess at the bar with a smile. I recognized the bartender/ server - Diego, from my past visit and so did he. A friendly guy with smiles who walked me thru his fav’s - which I asked for. I thoroughly enjoyed my mocktail, Tiradito de Tuna, shrimp ceviche, corn ribs, fish tacos and Tres leches…😋🫶‼️Great energy in the room with live DJ. This place wins for its “presentation” of any dish with flavors! Great food and friendly staff. This is my nth visit and will frequent it. Ty for making my day off…😉😋👏🫶‼️”
“My husband and I have eaten here twice: both times we’ve enjoyed delicious pizza, pasta, wine, coffee, and desserts. The staff are attentive and kind without hovering. Most recently, a couple and their young son were having dinner too. Beebe’s is a great choice for so many different people and families.”
“Everything was great, the food was excellent and the service was incredible. Our server Jane made us feel very welcome and elevated the whole experience! Highly recommended!”

“We've been to more DnD/BR locations than I could ever count and this is easily one of our favorites. Even though it's part of a busy Food Bazaar food court, they always keep it clean and they're always super friendly (especially to our kids). There are 2 small tables inside, 4 small ones outside in the food court, and about 10 shared picnic style tables (that seat 4-8 people each). The free underground parking on a hot day is a huge bonus!”
“The sweetest, most caring employees. Always make sure nobody feels rushed while also making sure everyone’s orders get out in a timely manner. Food is authentic - great lunch deals for when you’re in a rush but want a complete meal. It’s open 24hrs hence at times it’s a little slower bc there is less staff but overall, always a pleasure doing business with them ?✨??”
“This is five starts from me for having me the Carbonara with the chunky chicken tonight. Nice, sweet and delicious green peas and lots of melted buttery cheese inside the hot container. A very lightly minty flavor was coming from the black paper that has met my energy as soon as I start eating that high. Great Cook and I apologize for anything. Bye”

“Everything we ate at Moroccan Bites by Siham was so delicious! The lamb tagine, pastilla, and couscous with chicken were incredible. You could tell the dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients and with care. And the refreshing mint tea complimented our dishes. One of the best meals I’ve had in awhile. Can’t wait to see their new space on Steinway street!”
Takeout Restaurants
“We are visiting from Miami and stumbled upon this hidden gem. We ordered blueberry pancakes , 2 egg platers and a breakfast sandwich and everything was a 10/10. I got myself a mushroom coffee which was interesting , very good as well. The place is small and homey. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They have a variety of options on the menu & they even have vegan protein powder to make shakes. The hash browns and eggs were delicious and were not greasy at all. Fast service . If you are looking for some good breakfast or quick sandwich / wrap / smoothies check them out .”
“My husband and I had the most unforgettable experience at Cannelle Patisserie on Sunday, February 1. We brought in the gender results for our future baby, and from the moment we walked in, the staff treated our little secret with so much warmth, excitement, and genuine joy.
They were thrilled to be part of our surprise and went completely above and beyond—creating the yummiest box of pastries in the color of our baby’s gender for us to open later at home. They even included the sweetest handwritten note and, to our absolute delight, a precious little pink cake. (It was a girl! 💕)
The kindness, enthusiasm, and care they showed us turned a simple bakery visit into a once-in-a-lifetime memory. We will truly never forget how special they made us feel, or how magical and delicious our gender reveal was because of them.
Thank you to the amazing team at Cannelle Patisserie for being such a joyful part of our story—we’ll be back forever and recommending you to everyone we know!”
“One of the coziest and most welcoming Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in New York City! The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, with natural tones and ambient lighting that make it perfect for a dinner date or reunion with friends and family.
The menu offers a wide range of comforting dishes. We especially loved the shrimp with walnuts (so creamy and satisfying), the chili fish, and the soup dumplings. The cabbage hot pot came in a vessel with an open flame underneath to keep it warm throughout the meal, which was such a lovely touch. The lamb dish was served with fire as well, adding some visual excitement to the table. They also brought out hot tea kept warm over a small candle, which added to the cozy fall vibe.
It happened to be Mid-Autumn Festival when we visited, and they even gave us complimentary mooncakes, such a thoughtful surprise! We also had the Peking duck, spring rolls, and more, and everything was served fresh and full of flavor.
This place has a natural charm and offers a truly comforting dining experience. I’ll definitely be back again soon!”
“Such a cozy and welcoming café. The coffee beans are high quality and you can really taste the difference — smooth, rich, and well made. The space is warm and comfortable, perfect for catching up with friends or spending a relaxed afternoon. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. ☕️”
“😀I have known Manetta's Ristorante since 1990's and have been going there. Food is always excellent and the prices are good. The staff and servers are pleasant. Lisa is always friendly and accommodating --- greeted me and my hubby with a pleasant smile and also checked up to make sure that everything was fine during the course of our meal. Server, Jasmine waited on us a couple of times --- one of it was today, 2/9/2024. We were happy with her service and everything else. Our overall experience with Manetta's Ristorante is excellent. I highly recommend.”
“We had the best pre cruise visit since we were staying nearby at a hotel. Both bartenders were excellent and the regular customers! Made us “southerners” feel comfy and offered up ideas and suggestions of navigating the concrete jungle! If we ever return to NY, we will definitely be back. Awesome food! Awesome service! Excellent drinks. Made our trip!!”
“this place is the best, the food, the atmosphere, the drink!!!”

“Ambiance: Dimly lit, comfortable couches/cushions
Music: Early 2000’s to latest hip hop/rap music
Drinks: If you like sweet cocktails, “Crush on you” and “Make it clap”. If you prefer Smokey cocktails “Ms. Fat Booty”. If you prefer more bourbon, “Rebirth of Slick”.
Music isn’t too loud, a good balance of hip, loudness, and casual.
They have variety of drinks like wine, beer, and cocktails. Something for everyone.
Staff are friendly, and you can comfortably chat with locals.
It would be local 5/5 place for me if they had some small bites along with the drinks. Maybe some fries, fried peanuts, small bite tacos/tater tots.”
“I stumbled onto this place yesterday. I just recently started working around the corner. I entered the coffee shop and I was instantly greeted by such a sweet lady. I ordered the Nutella monster but explained to her that I don’t want it too and she made it absolutely delicious. Tasty and not too sweet at all so I didn’t feel too guilty for bending my diet haha! I also bought an avocado toast with a side of bacon….ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! This morning, I went back….yup, I sure did. Today, I tried the hot Nutella latte (again, less sweet) and was perfect for me! I’m loving this place!! Thanks Sip A Cup!! :)”
“Birch on 7th Ave and 14th street is my fave spot to get my afternoon skinny flat white during our class break at Pratt. The crew there is always great and I love the tip jar questions. Hang in there dear Birch! Looking forward to seeing you all again when we’re through this.”
“This restaurant is truly authentic Italian, and the food quality is exceptional. We ordered the Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza and the Diavola Pizza. The crust is classic Neapolitan style — thin with a slight chew — and honestly, it’s all about that crust. The sauce was full of flavor, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of cheese and a little kick. The prosciutto pizza was equally delicious.
The Seafood Pasta was on another level. The dish is prepared in a pan, then topped with a thin layer of pizza dough and baked in the oven to form a perfect dome. At the table, you peel back the dome and dip it into the rich, flavorful sauce — OMG, it was incredible. From now on, I’ll be comparing every seafood pasta to this one. If you love seafood pasta, this is a must-order dish.
I only wish I lived in New York so I could visit Sotto Le Stelle more often. The service was outstanding, and it’s clear the Sotto Le Stelle team takes great pride in the food they serve. Our server, Bigo, was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and added to the overall experience. We definitely will be back.”
“Amazing service from Grace who helped me navigate the menu with our food allergies in mind and Kenya who totally rocks behind the bar! Great tacos in an excellent atmosphere, what’s not to like?”

“The food here is deliciously authentic. I love the cozy yet lively vibe that the colorful artwork and decor bring.
I came for Taco Tuesday and was not disappointed. For those who are vegetarian, this is one of the few places I know with sooo many options and varieties for tacos. I cannot wait to try them all. They also have wonderful jugos frescos. I had the tamarind. Yum! 😋
The owners are such lovely people. They are local, as I am, and I am so happy they're here.”
“This jianbing cart will definitely become a go-to for me! Located in Court Square, it's a convenient stop and it takes about 15-20 minutes for your order to be made.
In the past, I've tried a couple jianbing in the past but didn't like them as I felt that it was too heavy and carb-y. However, one thing that I did like about this cart is that they really fill your jianbing with fillings, meat, and sauces. The pancake itself is also softer and easier to eat (like a wrap). While I would say that it is on the pricy side (at least in comparison to Flushing), I did really enjoy these and can see myself coming back a lot. (Loved their top seller with beef sausage as well as their peking duck one!)”

“Best thing that ever happened to this bedroom community.
Unfortunately the only one we have. But excellent menu with Jazz Friday’s and concerts on the lot in weekends.
Excellent varied art exhibitions in the gallery. And much much more.
A big thank you to the owners/organizers.
Hugs …”

“We returned on a visit to McLoughlins 38 years after it was the initial beacon on my arrival in the USA. From there I linked up with my friends , got a contact for a job , heard about accommodation going for rent and bumped into old friends. It created a network and a safety net for a whole generation of Irish immigrants. John is carrying on the traditional welcome provided by his father and uncle. He could not have been more helpful or kind as well as having that natural gift of the gab good barmen possess. Drinks were also fine”

“Good food prices are lower than most stores around. there buffet is cheaper per lb. Then the Food cellar supermarket 4-5 blocks down the block. I can’t believe all the negative reviews that’s not my opinion!!! I have been living in LIC since April I go at least twice a week for lunch better the most places in the area wish buffet was re stocked for dinner and Millie her self is a nice person some times people are just to critical 🤷♂️”

“I’ve known Spot for over 10 years, since their very first location on St. Marks. Over the years, they’ve expanded to more locations, including LIC and Flushing. Since the LIC location is close to where I live, I was genuinely excited when they opened in this area.
Their Green Tea Lava and Golden Toast have been amazing since day one and remain consistently great even now. Back then, the dessert was called Green Tea Lava Cake. It seems they later renamed it to Matcha Lava, likely to give it a more premium feel.
This time, I also tried one of their newer desserts an ube-based dish. It was okay and didn’t particularly stand out, but I do appreciate that they continue to update their menu seasonally and introduce new items.
Overall, it’s great to see the brand evolving while maintaining the quality of the classics that made it popular in the first place.”

“overflowcoffee is a perfect spot to get some work done. this place is spacious and has everything you need to wfh.
i tried matcha latte ($6) 🍵 and it did not disappoint. they whisked it on the spot (not from a huge pre-made batch👌🏻which i have seen a lot these days).
they have wifi, many seats (with a few outlets), restroom, and great coffee / pastry menu. you can choose a seat by the window, couch, or proper table. there is ample natural light here.
located near the east river, you can walk a couple blocks and wind down after work 🤍”
“Amazing food, great service.
We had vegetarian spring rolls and that fried rice with egg.
The staff was so accommodating by helping customise our order without oyster sauce and fish oil.
The coke, and food were served in clean dishes and loved the atmosphere.
Would definitely visit again when in LIC.”
“I came in about 1.5 hours ago and the guy working was SO NICE!!!! I really appreciated his service and kindness.
As for the chicken, I agree with other reviews that they BARELY put the sauce on the chicken. I ate predominately dry, semi crunchy chicken wings. I ordered the soy garlic but barely got any sauce.
The pickled radish had a funky taste :(
If there had been a decent amount of sauce, I would have enjoyed a bit more.
I really prefer BB.Q Chicken for Korean fried chicken and their radishes are better.”
“Before anything, the best stalls are the Mala dry hotpot stall, and the Fat cat flat bread stall, with runners up being the marathon hongkong cafe. Everything else is pretty mid. The flatbread is a must try! It's literally a crispy baked paper thin flatbread that somehow even has meat in it! (Or whatever you want) and the mala dry hotpot place is also really good!”
“My favorite dessert spot in Astoria! I always get the Lotus crepe, it’s absolutely my favorite dessert. After finding this place, no other crepe spot has compared! Not only are the crepes delicious every single time, but the employees are also incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s so nice to see such warm and genuine staff at a local business. Highly recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth!”
“Absolutely amazing place in Astoria! The food is outstanding, the drinks are perfectly made and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything from the atmosphere to the service makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend!”
