“We took our niece, who hails from Wisconsin, to Sam & Luca for dinner when she visited us a couple of months ago. None of the four members in our group had ever dined there before so we figured - why not try them out? Hands down that was the best decision we made that day. Having entered Sam & Luca we were immediately impressed by the warm Tuscan atmosphere. We ordered and shared a variety of food - calamari frittata, mozzarella sticks, and antipasto board to start - then came the tasty shrimp scampi, chicken piccata, chicken marsala, pan seared salmon, clams linguine, pappardelle bolognese, and grilled shrimp risotto. Finally, when could eat no more, we thought it only appropriate to finish off the evening with dessert and oh my, as the famous adage goes “that was the icing on the cake”! We found that the food was outrageously delicious! Adding to this, we also found the service to be exceptional - both the server and the manager - and actually, the rest of the staff there that evening were also quite friendly and very pleasant. Sam & Luca is now our favorite Italian bistro!”

Very disappointing I pay $16.50 for this and the Philly cheese steak meal has two Philly cheese steak sandwichs with enough porting on everything. I get lamb meat is pricey but you can't even taste the lamb meat unless you eat it alone. Even that is not satisfying. So I asked my husband is my frybread not good enough? He replied "It is but I thought you didn't want to cook. " so I told him "from here on out no more Hope's frybread it's too pricey for small portions." Even the Frito pie is so small and over priced. Like fill it to the top and then put the bag of chips on the side not in the container. Never again am I ordering here. Neither should you save your money and look on Facebook for Native Food Sales Arizona group. Better luck there and bigger portions and the same price or less than this place. It WAS great the first 6 months being open but not anymore. smh. They did improve of their frybread though it's no longer doughy after being cooked.”

My favorites are the cucumber salad, and anything they do with chicken; the spicy crispy chicken with crispy peppers, the kun pao chicken, and the pan fried chicken with green peppers. They have never disappointed.”

It is practically impossible presently to not find corporations operating restaurants that can essentially offer or deliver 1) amazing service – they emphasize it: I give it 4.0 , 2) an excellent attention to detail especially in hospitality – excellent table service: I give it 3.5, 3) cleanliness, hygiene and comfort in their décor, amenities and lavatories – carpets clean and didn’t see smudges on glass: I give it 4.0, 4) an abundant and/or varied food and/or product menu: I give it 4.5, 5) consistently appetizing offerings: I give it 4.5, 6) a sincere customer service: I give it 4.5, 7) unique, innovative or specialized menus: I give it 4.0, 8) value and price of meals: I give it 3.5, and most of all, 9) the inert desire of one wanting to return, again and again for the experience gained: I give it 4.0. These are some if not most of what my basic requirements are when visiting one of these establishments each time. Then more specifically comes, of course, the food. On our last visit we devoured some really good Spicy Chicken Bites. A superbly prepared parmesan crusted Spinach Dip along with the perfectly prepared Three Dons Margarita. On various previous occasions we enjoyed their excellent White Cheddar stuffed mushrooms, terrific Steakhouse wings, fab Firehouse T-Bones and Flo’s Filet is always utterly well made. This is just the tip of the iceberg of our tastings at Longhorn Steakhouse. My wife and I do not pretend to be professional reviewers but are most definitively connoisseurs of excellent foods whether a fine upscale cuisine, middle-of-the-road common eats, or a low-end fast-food joint. In this way, I have developed a to-the-point method for determining the personal worthiness of each establishment visited as noted in my opening. Simplified, each requisite noted for the establishment visited best scored by my highest score offered. Longhorn Steakhouse Mesa scores a 3.5 of a potential 5.0. Take note the peripheral score of 3.6 does not represent the food’s 4.5 rating. Bon appétit.”

I've been eating lobster 58 yrs of my life, and I'm the one who cooks it. $27 /lb, too high. I believe I was misquoted, but we cannot find the initial text that showed the price quoted. They take a deposit upfront. Ours was $100.00. The bill was a little over $300, way over what we were quoted. But the owner denied that. He was stressed out to the max.”

“My 11 year old son and I stopped in for some sushi tonight and I must say. I've never been so mistreated by a place of business in my entire life. Food was just ok. Nothing special. I ordered 10 piece sashimi, 2 rolls, stuffed jalapeños, miso soup and a sculpin ipa. The girl didn't know what sculpin was and asked for me to point it out on the menu so I did. Our food started coming out and 4 of the 5 items were already on the table and my son and I were starting to get full. The waitress hadn't brought my beer yet and I stopped her and reminded her I hadn't gotten the beer I ordered and I no longer wanted it since we were already pretty far along into our dinner. After I mention this she quickly hurrys to the bar and brings the beer apologizing for the delay. I tell her like I said I no longer wanted it so she took it away. Later when she brings the check the beer that I didn't receive and said I no longer wanted was still on the check. I asked her to please remove it. The owner comes over and in an agitated and aggressive manner asks if there is a problem wirh the bill. I told him yes the beer needed to be removed. He says no he will not remove it since it was already poured. He walks over to bar and brings it back and says here is your beer you need to pay for it. I explained to him how I received it after I had gotten most of my food and no longer wanted it but he refused. He was beyond rude and unreasonable. Most restaurants would take back a beer even if you take a drink and don't like it, I didn't get my beer until I was done with 50% of my food and didn't want it anymore! I mentioned something about his poor customer service and how it's no surprise the place is empty with no customers. The guy gets really heated and demands j pay for the drink. I got up and told my son let's go and the owner begins to assault me pushing me in the shoulder to back me up. 3 of his staff and my son witnessed this. He then stood in front of the doors and would not let us exit until I signed the credit card slip. I went back to the table and signed it "F You" and he let us out but after he read the signature the owner ran outside the store threatening me and getting into my face while calling the cops. His staff even thought he was crazy and were begging me to sign it and they offered to reimburse me $5 cash for the beer. They said their boss was having a bad day. The staff even agreed that the beer came out late which should not have been problem to have it removed. I ended up scribbling something on another copy of the credit card receipt and he finally allowed us to walk away without harassing us. My son was so scared he was calling 911 himself because of how the owner was assaulting me and up in my face. All this mistreatment over a $5 draft beer. I will never step foot in this place again and I should press charges against the owner for putting his hands on me and assaulting me. He even mentioned he has it all on camera so he can validate himself everything that took place. I read over other reviews for this place and it seems this owner likes to argue and fight rather than take accountability for his and his staffs actions. It's unacceptable for anyone to EVER be treated this way, EVER.”

“First time visiting Best Hong Kong Dining. It was easy to find on Dobson & Southern, northwest corner. I pulled right into the strip mall parking from Dobson going south. Parking spaces were available during the lunch hour. Only one other diner but that didn’t stop me. The diner was eating duck and I noticed how good it looked. Not too fatty like some I have had. The place is spacious and clean with friendly staff. After perusing the menu, I decided on Chicken with Chinese greens. I specifically asked for Chinese broccoli aka Gi lan. I heard the lady repeat the order in Chinese to the cook. I looked at the window where several roasted ducks and BBQ pork aka char siu hung. Both looked moist and I made a mental note to get some char siu for hubs next time. The meal was ready quickly, boxed and bagged up to go. Tonight’s meal was delicious. Not oily at all. The chicken was really tender. They used the trademark way of making the chicken tender and plentiful. If you don’t know what I am talking about, just Google it. Most Chinese cooks do this to their wok fried chicken. The gai lan was super crunchy and lots of it. They made the veggie perfectly. One day when I get the yen for duck, I would like to return. Generous portions. All in all, a great experience.”

“We’ve been going here for a very long time. I’ve noticed the managers are very stingy. I think it makes the other employees a bit uncomfortable. I’d hate my kids working there, it doesn’t seem like a good environment. However, the food is amazing and the portions are very good sized, usually. Every now and then I’ll be surprised by how little meat there is. Tonight my salad had no cheese or peppers but lots of meat. A little inconsistent. The shocker tonight was this though; we just got back from Greece last week and we’re missing gyros and baklava, so we ordered and I ordered baklava for the first time. Around $2.50, I thought “wow, Greece pricing!” (The food there was very affordable). I got it and my whole family laughed out loud. It was no joke, a 1”x1” square (see picture haha) So I certainly won’t order that again. But the one bite baklava was delicious. We always go back, but wish the cooks/managers were a little friendlier and the food was more consistent.”

“The service started out a bit disjointed. We were greeted promptly but they are server disappeared. Come to discover, they were not prepared for the crowd they received at this new location and had to call the owner to come help. We were fortunate enough to have him serve us and when they got things figured out, the service was excellent. Even that did not match the exceptional food we enjoyed. This is not your typical boring TexMex burrito with red sauce. The food was unusual and delightful. We started with Elotes and Huitlacoche Quesadillas. It was excellent but being billed as appetizers, we also ordered Rellenos and Tamales. We could have stopped with the appetizers as it was substantial and very tasty but we continued on with our main course and were not at all disappointed. We also had a very nice visist with the owner who served us and truly enjoyed the entire experience. Highly recommend Los Sombreros in Mesa and we will be back.”

“My husband made reservations at Annabella's Restaurant for Thanksgiving Day and let me tell you it was just fabulous. I told the chef and manager that I would let Leisure World know. They have been under new management since May 2018. We had booked our reservation late this year and could not be seated at McCormick Ranch or Wrigley Manson. Annabelle's was available although the old reviews were not so good. We booked it anyway because it was close and available. I am so happy we did not listen to the bad reviewsWe went and it was better than our past experience at McCormick Ranch and not as expensive. It was buffet style and had all the traditional varieties of food for Thanksgiving. The gravy and stuffing were excellent. They also had a breakfast brunch buffet and a wonderful salad bar with specialty meats, salad, and cheeses, dessert table. The buffet price included free Champagne or Mimosa's upon your arrival. We would highly recommend Annabelle's with it's vintage 1950's glamour and gorgeous chandeliers. So, if you want atmosphere and fine dining it is here at Annabelle. They are also open for breakfast lunch and dinner daily with outdoor pool view patio seating. We definitely are going there again and again and it's so close. I hope you take my recommendation and visit this restaurant so they can stay in business. We need a fine dining place close to L.W.Sally & Dave Perry”

Jesslyn was busy and on it and just a delight to be around! Chassis built a killer staff. The staff was helpful and obviously happy even though busy. “YUM! I ordered the street tacos and they were very good. Pastor and chicken. Nice flavor and tasted fresh. If you like spice, their red salsa is bomb.
The only reason for a 4 star and not 5 is that I feel like the street tacos are a little pricey even on taco Tuesday . I believe they are 2.20 on Tuesday and 2.89 regular price. They will fit in the palm of your hand.
Still, they were very good. I just wish they were regular size for that price.”

“Love Hmart. They have all the ingredients you need to make tagoyaki, tamogayaki, okonomiyaki, yakitori, and onigiri, you name it! Great snacks, and an excellent section of harder to find fruits and vegetables. They also have a selection of ready-made take and go items. My personal favorite is the ham kimbop. The price is double what I paid just a few years ago, so I don't get it as often, but it's still just as delicious. If you want a hot lunch, they also have a section of little restaurants inside, and I haven't been served anything there yet that wasn't tasty and delicious. If you go here, I promise it will be difficult to be disappointed!”

“They put little meat portions in the lamb with green chilli. Even the green chilli and onions were a bigger portion. I ate half the sandwich. Very disappointing I pay $16.50 for this and the Philly cheese steak meal has two Philly cheese steak sandwichs with enough porting on everything. I get lamb meat is pricey but you can't even taste the lamb meat unless you eat it alone. Even that is not satisfying. So I asked my husband is my frybread not good enough? He replied "It is but I thought you didn't want to cook. " so I told him "from here on out no more Hope's frybread it's too pricey for small portions." Even the Frito pie is so small and over priced. Like fill it to the top and then put the bag of chips on the side not in the container. Never again am I ordering here. Neither should you save your money and look on Facebook for Native Food Sales Arizona group. Better luck there and bigger portions and the same price or less than this place. It WAS great the first 6 months being open but not anymore. smh. They did improve of their frybread though it's no longer doughy after being cooked.”
