The staff we interacted with (owner?) was super friendly, funny, and laid back. It was such a great meal! It's so cozy and warm, and currently beautifully decorated for Christmas; a highlight this time of year is the eggnog latte, perfectly foamed and spiced. Every team member I've dealt with over the past few days during my visit here from Ontario has been lovely, kind, and accommodating, and if I lived here, you can be sure I'd be a regular at this warm and inviting neighbourhood spot. “The staff is so disrespectful! We arrived at this place around 12:35pm and the hostess said they would have a 35 min wait list. We said ok, got our names in the wait list and left. After 35 min I came back for a time check and the hostess said more 30 min wait. We have a toddler and 1 hour wait would be too much for the toddler. I asked to talk to the manager but the hostess said there was no manager on duty that day. I insisted since that wouldn't make any sense. After begging to talk to the person in charge, finally someone showed up. The manager was even more disrespectful than the hostess - she kept this ironic smile all the time and said that the hostess removed our names from the list by mistake but nothing could be done, not even offer us the top of the wait list and we had to go to the bottom of the list again. She also said they were doing the best they could - I left without saying a word since keep discussing was just pointless - when I walk out the door I just heard "and please don't come back". Just don't come here.”

“This is not the usual Subway I typically get my sandwiches from, but thanks to the phenomenal experience I had here due to Simrandeep’s excellent work ethic and kind demeanour, this is from now on my favourite place to get my sandwiches from. Out of all the Subways I have eaten at, this resturant is by far the cleanest, most efficient one I’ve been to in all my 30 years of experience. I am very particular about my sandwiches, and Simrandeep had an immense amount of patience and understanding when it came to my allergies and food aversions. This is the Subway to go to, and other Subways could learn a lot about good service and atmosphere from here. 5 stars!”

“When I used to work at the mall; I’ve always come and have sushi here. It’s been 5-6 years, and today I wanted to try a few rolls for old-times sake. It was EVEN BETTER, then I remembered. I am mid eating my first roll still; and had to leave a review.
Fantastic customer service, food, and really fresh ingredients. Honestly one if not the best sushi I’ve ever had, and it blows my mind its in a mall.

“Was hungry & randomly stopped by at this place without even looking for reviews. Looked at the menu & ordered Hidra Sandwich & Super Special Sandwich as the pcitures looked good. Portion size was sufficient to feed a reasonably hungry individual, Food was served warm & nicely wrapped BUT the taste of both sandwiches was the highlight of the experience. It was bursting with flavour and explosion of multiple but well complemented textures of meat & dressings.
I am visiting from out of town otherwise this place would have been one of frequntly visited places in North Van area.
Seems they also serve cold cut meat as well, nut not sure, about it as we didnt ask but saw them nicely stacked in tray at the main counter”

Brown’s had been open 1/2 hour so I felt it was big enough that they would have space on Father’s Day as we had done something similar on Mother’s Day in the past.
We were seated inside and they had some giant TVs on with some sports on that day.
Our older son had the Strawberries & Cream French Toast made using brioche bread with strawberries, and fresh whipped mascarpone cream. He was in heaven!

I had heard that they were bringing back burgers and omelets and other favorite lunchtime fares on their new lunch menus. Me and my friend were treated to the best and freshest burger that I have ever eaten in my life. A delicious quarter pound beef patty prepared ground on the spot and prepared fresh for us. I thought I had died and gone to burger heaven. The burger was cooked perfectly with mozzarella cheese, onions, mushrooms, bacon, and lettuce and tomato on a fresh made in restaurant delicious bun. We were the first to be treated to these fantastic burgers and am planning to go back over the weekend and chow down on more burger comfort food. It was out of this world delicious. I had ordered a side of french fries before my meal so when my deluxe burger arrived I chose to have rice on the side. Great choice by me again! ! I just want to thank my friends at Andreas restaurant (North Vancouver) for bringing back burgers to their establishment. It was a bon bon day to have such a delicious lunch at my favorite food place and it was wallet-friendly as well as this big burger meal only cost me CA $15.50. Plenty of vegetarian options. I had the mango basil rolls, which are spring rolls filled with vermicelli noodles that come with this peanut sauce. It's a clean dish, even with peanut sauce it didn't feel heavy. I recommend having it with chili oil mixed with the peanutsauce.
And the veggie sub: The veggie sub is a sub-style sandwich with tofu and veggie filling. The tofu was so soft I thought it was cheese.
