On the day of the event, some of us arrived a bit earlier than our reservation time, but we were still welcomed and seated. The servers worked hard to wrangle our group and take orders as efficiently as possible. In my experience, all the staff were courteous and professional. Our server in particular was especially friendly and responsive. The food was solid—though I did miss the hot wings they used to serve a few years back!
All that to say, I just wanted to give my heartfelt thanks to Matt and his team for going above and beyond to accommodate our large group on such short notice. You made it a truly special night, and we’re very grateful.”

“We had the steak frites, one with ribeye and one with sirloin, and our son ordered the kids pizza. The view was amazing and probably the best part of the evening.
The food was ok overall. The steaks came out medium just like we asked which was nice, but the flavor and presentation were pretty average. The kids pizza was simple but our son enjoyed it.
It was not very busy for a Thursday around 6:30 pm and we were seated right away with no wait which was great.
The food did take a little while to arrive considering the place was not packed, but once it came we were able to relax and enjoy the setting. This is definitely the kind of spot where the atmosphere and views make the visit worthwhile even if the food is not the main reason to go.”

“I've been meaning to try this place because their Verdure al forno (roasted vegetable platter) looks really yummy. This weekend we decided to have an early meal to beat the crowd. We ordered Egg White Frittata and Cipolla Vegan Pizza. Both items looked and tasted delicious. Instead of the usual tomato or cream sauces, the vegan pizza had roasted red pepper sauce which added a unique taste profile. There is no garlic on the pizza—which is outstanding—with no unpleasant after taste. We still have to go back and try the roasted vegetable platter. The restaurant is elevated from the street with large picture windows. It's nice and bright inside during the day.”

“The staff is so disrespectful! We arrived at this place around 12:35pm and the hostess said they would have a 35 min wait list. We said ok, got our names in the wait list and left. After 35 min I came back for a time check and the hostess said more 30 min wait. We have a toddler and 1 hour wait would be too much for the toddler. I asked to talk to the manager but the hostess said there was no manager on duty that day. I insisted since that wouldn't make any sense. After begging to talk to the person in charge, finally someone showed up. The manager was even more disrespectful than the hostess - she kept this ironic smile all the time and said that the hostess removed our names from the list by mistake but nothing could be done, not even offer us the top of the wait list and we had to go to the bottom of the list again. She also said they were doing the best they could - I left without saying a word since keep discussing was just pointless - when I walk out the door I just heard "and please don't come back". Just don't come here.”

“Today I was so happy to discover this little Korean-style café inNorth Vancouver . The food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was even organic! Usually when I come to the NV area, I only visit a few of the well-known cafés, but this time I searched on Google and found this five-star hidden gem — and it truly lived up to the rating.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. The breakfast and brunch menu was really interesting — even the avocado toast came in several creative variations, and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the Avocado Egg Sourdough Toast and the Bibimbap Bowl for 10.99, with extra mushrooms. Everything was freshly prepared by the chef, so it arrived warm.
Their special sauce was unique — a little spicy, a little tangy — drizzled over the avocado toast, paired with fresh salad greens that really boosted the appetite. The beef was also seasoned perfectly, very flavorful, and the coffee was rich and aromatic.

We were starving and did not have a lot of time as we had to catch ferry. the staff person was very polite and understanding about it and our dinner was served super quick. Finally we ordered the salmon sashimi. Pieces were quite large and fresh tasting. Great texture too!

When I called them they initially tried to say I didn't order it, until they realized they overlooked it and didn't make it. Their solution was to come back to the store and pick it up. We went around dinner time on a Wednesday and there was a bit of a wait especially since their restaurant is quite small. 100% worth the wait.
When there's a smaller menu, you already know their dishes are going to be amazing because they put all their efforts into the few dishes. I think the portions are good and we were even able to take some leftovers home because we were so full.

This of course forces cyclists onto the busy traffic lanes and of course could be unsafe. "I pay taxes..." they say as their justification. Car is a jeep, licence plate CG8 86G. There was ample parking down the street, so why does this business owner think it was acceptable to block a traffic lane? would they do it in a regular car lane? Oh, wait...they had their hazards on so that makes it allllll okay. They probably park in handicap parking spots as well, because they're "only here for a minute..."”

“How have we lived here for six years and not tried Lionsgste pizza!? I looked up gluten-free pizza and LG pizza was the top of my search. We ordered a gluten-free pizza with vegan cheese and I was thoroughly impressed with the flavour and the amount of toppings! The staff are super friendly and very flexible allowing us to split the toppings half and half. My kids absolutely loved the pizza, which is very telling because they are quite picky eaters. I do have to say,I see people are commenting on the price of the pizza, but that’s what you pay for a good quality pizza. I mean the box was heavy, so to me that means quality ingredients.
