“This place is awesome, came for the World Cup but will be returning for the food, service and vibes. Mussels were so flavorful and filling. Grilled cheese and tomato soup paired nice. Fish and chip - drive are fresh and light, fish is so moist and light with little to no traces of oil. Drinks are heavy and great.

“What you don't know is the menu can be a bit redundant. Besides the sandwiches, everything is a variation of itself. I fount the Boureg to be some of the best I've ever had. This is definitely a lunch spot, the bites are pretty small. I like this casual, large glass windowed eatery.”

“I've been to many burger spots in my life, but I've never had a burger as good as the Chef Burger from Burger Bun. I'm talking perfectly seasoned beef, and delicious (but not overpowering) burger sauce, crisp vegetables, and the brioche bun is spectacular. There's no burger in Glendale that even comes close. The wings are also some of the best I've ever had and the homemade sauces are so, so tasty. The fries are perfect, and they have amazing milkshakes too. To top it all off, the service is ridiculously good, and the prices are fair. This is my go-to spot in town.”

I started with the tuna tartare, which was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and had an amazing balance of flavors and textures. From there, I had the corn agnolotti, which was easily one of the highlights of the night. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the delicate, flavorful sauce complemented the sweetness of the corn beautifully.

For my main course, I had the steak and fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor, while the fries were crispy and seriously addictive. Everything on the plate worked perfectly together.

I finished with key lime and scoop of coconut sorbet, which was just as impressive and the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted every bit as good as it looked.

What made the experience even better were the people. Every employee I interacted with was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The chef was also incredibly nice and personable, which added such a special touch to the evening. You can tell there’s real passion behind what they’re doing, both in the kitchen and in the way they treat their guests.

The attention to detail at Backbone really stood out to me. The atmosphere was stylish and inviting, the service was exceptional, and the entire meal flowed perfectly from one course to the next.

Backbone is absolutely a restaurant I’ll be coming back to. From the tuna tartare and corn agnolotti to the steak, dessert, and amazing hospitality, the entire experience was outstanding. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while and an easy five stars. Highly recommend!”

“Seabutter, in the heart of Glendale lies this sushi restaurant that is a masterpiece. It is right next to Americana, sadly it has horrible parking but near places like Shake Shack, bourbon steak, In-n-Out, Capital One cafe, BJ’s brewhouse, and I’m quite sure a Starbucks as well Joe & The Juice literally next door.

Every sushi is fresh and tastes delicious, the atmosphere is like you’re a Roman patrician arriving at his Villa where his luxurious life is. It doesn’t look so fancy, but it feels comfy. There’s no trash nor dirt on the floor just clean and has a nice modern look.

The service here is very quick, the wait time is non-existent and the staff are very kind-hearted and quick with orders. When we come here, we are usually give On the house meals which is nice. There’s also a bar area and you can watch them make your sushi!

The food here is the spotlight in the show, it is the best sushi I have ate in my whole entire lifetime as well my whole bloodline. The sushi here is fresh delicious and it’s nice. I showed pictures of non-sushi items like Chicken Teriyaki, and Garlic Edamani, but most of the pictures are just sushi.

In the end, after coming here 50+ times I can agree this is the best sushi place I will ever touch on earth. If there was sushi in heaven, Seabutter will be there.

They also have another restaurant place called The Bar which I will review one day. But other from that, this place is a must-go and is very underrated and overlooked.

PS: before you go here, the parking is absolute garbage due to Americano and other popular places!

“We went for French chanson night. I would suggest moving those type of events to a bigger room with the bar so people can dance and enjoy the music. This time it was overcrowded in the room, people were trying to dance at their tables. The food was OK, wine per bottle starts from 70$ which is a little too much for a bottle that costs $10 at the store. I ordered aperol spritz which had 0 alcohol and 99%of ice. The service was good. Overall nice place, I might come back but not in a near future.”

We also ordered a cheese platter, but unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy it. The cheese selection wasn’t very flavorful. However, the fruit platter and the other dishes we tried were all very good.

“Lived in this area *Ocean View Blvd, Glendale, LaCrescenta, Eagle Rock, Flintridge, in the late 1960's and my school friends and I used to go to El Charro's on weekends to eat (thought we were really grown up!). They absolutely had the BEST cheese enchiladas I've ever in my life tasted and haven't found any as good since. Wish I could get them to dry-ice and send some of these to my current address in the Northern Great Plains (my home area) but I guess they don't do shipping. Dang, I really miss their food and I also like the red bean and rice burritos, and some other dishes. Always had GREAT salads there, as well. The ONLY mexican place we have here where I live is Chili's - yuk!”

Their torte with sour cream and cherries is out of this world. Their cabbage dolma and chiken in made in French version are simply mouthwatering 😋.The salads especially the quinoa, and cabbage, korean eggplant salads are tasty and healthy. You can buy anything and everything in this store. The most important thing is that the place is very clean, and you can easily find a place to park, and it has indoor and outdoor services. I no longer worry about cooking. I always go to Olive store with joy, especially knowing that I will be welcomed with beautiful smiles of Hasmik, Valentina, Vera, and sweet Nalya. They are all helpful, courteous, and provide outstanding customer service. You can also earn points and use them during your next visit. In addition, I would like to commend the store manager/owner for having such a wonderful store for our community, and for hiring such amazing chefs, and staff. “I don’t usually write reviews, but this place honestly deserves it. Beef Box Shawarma is hands down one of the best shawarma spots I’ve EVER tried. The meat is very flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and not dry at all (which is rare). You can tell everything is made super fresh, and the portions are actually worth the price.

Also have to mention the service because everyone there was genuinely so friendly and kind. They had really good energy, were welcoming, and just made the whole experience feel nice.
