“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!”

“On a cozy Nova Scotia evening I went out for dinner at this recommended restaurant, after a while of doing donuts to find parking we finally found a spot and got in early for our reservation.

The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere and is well decorated on theme, the staff were mostly friendly and welcoming. The food was fine, a bit overcooked and less spiced, definitely a bit underwhelming for the recommendations of the restaurant but still an enjoyable dining experience.

If you’re in Halifax for a short amount of time I probably wouldn’t have this on the top of your list, but it’s not a bad option in anyway.

Parking: If it’s a busy night in Halifax (like a hockey game or etc) don’t expect to find parking right away”

Sometimes there's a slip up with an order but everyone is kind and understanding and quickly remedy the mistake. “Drive-thru visit with a buddy on the way home. The property is well lit with ample parking. All areas have good signage. Ordered at the drive-thru speaker and it was seamless paying with my payment method on the app. We had a couple of burgers and fries, an Oreo Blizzard, an ice cream cone and a Fruitopia. All was as expected and fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good visit.”

Service at this location is amazing; the staff are incredibly curious and friendly, a type of service I have to say you don't get at very many places anymore. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !! The Prospect Road location is going to be such a well loved location - so much so that, I don’t think the staff realized how much of the community would flock there. They’re BUSY, and out of ingredients, but the staff there were HUSTLING around, smiling and getting orders out that they could. I expect delays at the beginning. They never expected so much traffic, give them patience folks and expect a mess up in your order possibly or wait until they are fully loaded and in the flow with the area. Otherwise incredible sub (despite picking off a couple things I didn’t ask for), the bread was amazing, still 10/10 would go back, and didn’t even care it was chaotic. Inside though although small, its essentially a novelty convenience store with local goodies. They have a little bakery section with homemade stuff, the moon mist fudge was incredible and a must try! They also had a bunch of “Jones Soda” flavours that I’ve never seen before anywhere around here - even at the big candy stores, (like s’mores and the fallout edition one) which was pretty cool!! They still have ice cream and everything that was at multi scoop - just with a lot more options and delicious fresh options to go. Something for ANYONE at a really reasonable price. Prospect needed this so much - thank you, and good luck with your continued success! 🎉♥️”

If you like sushi, they have it. If you want ramen, they have one option and it is perfect.

The takoyaki was exactly what I wanted. I had a bunch of salmon sushi and California rolls. Every piece was incredible. My husband had the ramen and it's some of the best we've ever had. Definitely the best we've had in the Halifax area.

I shop nearby fairly regularly and now expect that I'll just make sure those trips have enough time to stop in for a bite.

“Was super excited to try this restaurant but it was not as great as I expected. The meals are extremely large in size and you definitely get your moneys worth! The lamb noodles were yummy and the quality of the beef short ribs were great! However, the ice cream was extremely expensive for just a few spoonfuls and I was a bit confused on why they would add mango popping pearls as it was brown sugar milk tea flavoured ice cream. As well, the shaved ice was an extreme letdown :( The ice was very chunky and was not shaved down at all, so instead of being creamy, the halo halo was very sharp and crunchy. The appearance of all the dishes were all so beautiful and the restaurant was so cozy? Overall, I would recommend coming here if you’ve been wanting to try it out, but for me personally, the taste of the food was a let down (especially the deserts). However, I would recommend this place for their main meals as the portions are generous and the atmosphere and customer service was great!?”

“Went for lunch today and had the Pho and the "Banh Mi" (meat bread). The good: The broth of the Pho is easily the best in HRM, great flavour and mouth feel and you can actually see some liquid fat floating there. The noodle were well cooked and the portion of beef was good. The baguette of the banh mi was excellent as was the meat. The not so good: The choice of meat for the Pho was very basic. There are many of us out there that would like very rare beef, beef ball, tendon and even tripe. I've never seen this option offered in Halifax and would be very impressed if I did. The Pho also needs more accompaniments, I got a small segment of lime, an ample supply of mung bean sprout and one piece of cilantro. I want to see Thai Basil and bird eye chili, and more cilantro and lime. The "Banh Mi" has one option for filling and while it is very good, I would like to see a variety of options. Cold cuts, pates, pork belly slices, satay beef should be a standard variety of options. I'd also like to see it offered as a banh mi sandwich with kewpie, pickled daikon/carrot, cucumber, cilantro and chili's. The Verdict: I will be back. The Pho and meat bread, while basic are very well done. I would be back even more frequently if some of my suggestions about were added. There is a real need for solid Pho and Banh Mi on the peninsula and Red Satay is the closest yet and it wouldn't take much to elevate it to a weekly must go.”

It’s more than half whip cream. Fake not real and I could not taste any coconut. At all. Except the sprinkle of roasted coconut on the top. Not good at all.. Tossed it out! Not worth the calories. The absolute best coconut cream pie that I have had at a restaurant not a bakery is from The Armview! Homemade and absolutely delish. And worthy of the calories . Sorry guys. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the creamy oat milk lattes and colourful lemonades and we found ourselves retuning to the Cafe every day of our vacation. I was greeted by friendly staff and my first thought was of the cleanliness of the restaurant and the staff were sharply dressed. The ambiance was chic and it was decorated in classy high end furnishings. I choose a both, yet still had a great view of Halifax harbour. The Braised Short Rib Pappardelle was cooked flawlessly and the sauce was tasty delicious. I look forward to the steak on my next visit. Mixologist Abi is amazing and pours the best tasting cocktails the city has to offer. His drinks please both the eye and the taste buds as he has a few tricks up his sleeve. Food was excellent, recommend the calamari. They have a very elaborate wine and cocktail menu, the cocktails were mind blowing. The menu is limited in size but in a good way.

The restaurant is multi level so even though it was full it still felt intimate.
