What a little gem 💎 Discreetly tucked deep into this shop front, the cool air, atmospheric lit interior and warm welcoming service was so lovely. We didn’t have a reservation but the super cool matre’d hustled us 3 great seats on the bar while we explored for 15 minutes.

Tori was our fab server who was knowledgeable about the menu and a ‘complete hospo pro’. We felt welcome and looked after.

The food is AMAZING, we had the Tuna tartare and burrata to start then the Halibut, duck breast and the tagliatelle mains. All so tasty, filling and well priced.

It was bustling on a Thursday night so definitely book to dine or chance it and hope to get lucky like we did 😊”

He loved his meal! If you're into spicy drinks, try the tamarind margarita - it has a real kick and is so good! Great restaurant - can't wait to return! :)”

Our mains were the Tuscan Atlantic Salmon and Seafood Risotto. Both were excellent and Lindsay suggested the perfect wine pairing. This was by far one of the best dining experiences we have had!”

They’re BUSY, and out of ingredients, but the staff there were HUSTLING around, smiling and getting orders out that they could. I expect delays at the beginning. They never expected so much traffic, give them patience folks and expect a mess up in your order possibly or wait until they are fully loaded and in the flow with the area. Otherwise incredible sub (despite picking off a couple things I didn’t ask for), the bread was amazing, still 10/10 would go back, and didn’t even care it was chaotic. Inside though although small, its essentially a novelty convenience store with local goodies. They have a little bakery section with homemade stuff, the moon mist fudge was incredible and a must try! They also had a bunch of “Jones Soda” flavours that I’ve never seen before anywhere around here - even at the big candy stores, (like s’mores and the fallout edition one) which was pretty cool!! They still have ice cream and everything that was at multi scoop - just with a lot more options and delicious fresh options to go. Something for ANYONE at a really reasonable price. Prospect needed this so much - thank you, and good luck with your continued success! 🎉♥️”

I was absolutely tickled to find easy street diner in Halifax today while down in Nova Scotia for work. they had the most extensive gluten free menu I've ever seen. They had delicious gluten free onion rings, crispy, light, just the right amount of seasoning. they were divine. They also even had things like chicken and waffles that were gluten free!! 😲😲😲 needless to say anytime I'm working in Halifax again, I will be trying more delicious food in this cute, trendy, a la 60s Jetsons-cartoon-style diner!”

“I hired Tareks for catering on this week and OH MY GOODNESS! Fantastic as always; Incredibly fresh, flavourful and so easy! I told him how many people and he gave suggestions and was the least stressful catering order I have ever placed. It arrived hot and fresh and perfectly on time. So much food we all had a second plate and still had leftovers at the end. Highly recommend Tareks for any time lunches, dinners or catering. Has to be one of the best in the city, not one complaint from my group of 15 people! He even called afterwards to check in that everything was received - absolutely amazing service! “One of the best dining experiences I had in Halifax. Everything at Drift felt thoughtful, from the beautiful waterfront setting to the genuinely warm and attentive service.

The Atlantic salmon tartare served in mini waffle cones was creative, fresh and beautifully presented. The Nova Scotia lobster hushpuppies were exceptional, crispy, rich and perfectly balanced by the citrus aioli. For my main, I had the roast chicken with rappie pie. The chicken was incredibly tender, and the rappie pie was comforting and full of flavour. It’s still chicken at the end of the day, but this exceeded every expectation I had.

The cocktails were also outstanding: distinctive, well-balanced and made with exactly the right amount of alcohol. The biggest surprise was a complimentary bite from the chef a delicate cracker which may genuinely have been the best bite of the entire meal.

Excellent food, creative presentation and 10/10 hospitality. Drift offers a real taste of Nova Scotia rather than simply another upscale restaurant meal. Absolutely worth visiting.”

“We arrived a bit after 4pm. Waited to be seated by a friendly hostess. The service was good all did I have a bit difficulty understanding what was said. The food was very good and fast. The bourbon burger tasted good. The only thing I would like to say is that we found the restaurant very cold. We were seated next to the kitchen and we could feel a cold draft. We told the server and she said she would ask the manager. Of course we didn’t stay long enough to feel the difference so I hope for the other guests it got warmer. We thought the price for one burger with fries was a bit on the high side. But we ate there on a Wednesday night so received the second (same) meal half price.”

“One of the best dining experiences I had in Halifax. Everything at Drift felt thoughtful, from the beautiful waterfront setting to the genuinely warm and attentive service.

The Atlantic salmon tartare served in mini waffle cones was creative, fresh and beautifully presented. The Nova Scotia lobster hushpuppies were exceptional, crispy, rich and perfectly balanced by the citrus aioli. For my main, I had the roast chicken with rappie pie. The chicken was incredibly tender, and the rappie pie was comforting and full of flavour. It’s still chicken at the end of the day, but this exceeded every expectation I had.

The cocktails were also outstanding: distinctive, well-balanced and made with exactly the right amount of alcohol. The biggest surprise was a complimentary bite from the chef a delicate cracker which may genuinely have been the best bite of the entire meal.

Excellent food, creative presentation and 10/10 hospitality. Drift offers a real taste of Nova Scotia rather than simply another upscale restaurant meal. Absolutely worth visiting.”

Our waitress Jessica was in training and was lovely. We were headed to the party boat and had asked if there was anyway we could have them store our little take out container for us until we returned and she was able to do so. We didnt mind it being kept at room temp. When we came back, she saw us come in and helped us get our food.”

“If you're craving authentic Indian flavors, The Adda Indian Eatery is a delightful spot that doesn’t disappoint. We tried their chole bhature and a cup of chai, and both were a hit. The chole was rich, well-spiced, and perfectly balanced—not overly oily, which is often the case elsewhere. The bhature came out hot and fluffy, with just the right amount of crisp on the outside and softness inside. It’s the kind of comfort food that makes you feel right at home. To top it off, their **tea** was just as impressive—brewed strong with aromatic spices, slightly sweet, and served piping hot. Your booking includes set-up and tear down by the staff, HUGE win. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. And obviously the space is GORGEOUS; very little decorations are even needed in the romantic moody room. We did our ceremony on the roof and it was SO special. Food incredible. We did a standing cocktail dinner and we had more than enough and continue to received compliments over the menu. This is SUCH an awesome spot!”

“Grabbed dinner with a few friends at Suda Table last Friday evening and honestly it exceeded every expectation we had. The vibe inside was warm and relaxed, exactly the kind of spot where you lose track of time without meaning to. We ordered the Thai green curry and it was genuinely one of the best versions I've had in Halifax, deeply fragrant with just the right amount of heat. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and made some great recommendations when we were on the fence about what to order.”

“Going in I did not realize they were plant based, I got a latte with oatmilk (Ive had some really bad oat milk lattes before so I wasnt expecting much). If I didnt like it I was just going to give it to my brother who is vegetarian so I knew he'd like it.

The oatmilk latte was the best I've ever gotten. If I could get my latte here everyday I would switch over to oatmilk permanently! Give it a go!”

Perfect coffee, friendly and professional staff, delicious pastries (my husband said it was the best croissant he’s had outside of Montreal!).
