This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.”

These are 3 words I would use to describe the service at Sichuan street food.
I have long wanted to go and I finally dined here. With my family we ordered a myriad of dishes, each one was authentic, flavorful, and of course delicious.
Some of the best Chinese food I can recommend you.
I recommend for sure the Dan Dan noodles, the egg fried rice, the cumin lamb, diced chicken with spicy chilies, and green beans.

“Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to the charming, highly-rated Hello You're Welcome café. They make and bake everything in house- you can even see the ovens. Really friendly staff with a slight hippie vibe. Some items were made with almond flour, like their giant chocolate chip cookie, so I had to skip them (allergic). I was pleasantly overwhelmed by a delicious gigantic frittata slice with bacon, onions, and tater tots inside. Togadachi coffee is really interesting: the beans were fermented with lavender. Extra sugar helped me adjust to the unique flavor. The wall full of retail items features coffee beans in VHS boxes, which is a first! I love their mugs and bought one to take home.”

I always wondered how real Japanese sushi would taste and I have a feeling this place is certainly close to that. I had recently watched a documentary on Netflix and how this one place in Japan you just trust the chef to serve you delicious 😋 sushi! Well this is place does the same and boy it doesn't disappoint. I've never had salmon melt in my mouth like that or had sushi rice taste sooo good. And the ginger ! Thats real stuff

“Delicious breakfast which is enough for two people so it's reasonably priced. The bacon was the best part. Potatoes are deep fried and I like mine less greasy. A lot of customers came in so it's a popular spot. I loved that they were able to make me iced coffee with oatmilk. The staff is friendly and the food comes out fast. They will seat you or you can seat yourself. You order at the counter and they give you a number and they bring your food to you. If you come to the front, you walk up stairs but staff said there is a large parking lot in the back and a ramp for accessibility. I will definitely come here again!

The steak is cooked spot‑on with a rich peppercorn sauce and crispy fries, making every bite feel like a true Parisian bistro experience. With a side of horseradish that was perfectly paired for this sandwich.”

The flavors in the sauce (basil, olive oil and something else yummy) that surrounded the burrata were absolutely delicious! The lamb/beef/pork bolognese sauce on the spaghetti as well as the duck was excellent. Portions are definitely generous and shareable. Our only regret is we didn’t save room for dessert! Despite being there during the Rose Bowl with lots of people, the service was excellent! So glad we stumbled upon this restaurant via Resy, we’ve saved it in case we come to Pasadena again!! “I've come to this location so many times over the years and it's always been consistently good. I usually just use the drive thru but the service is always fast. Ambiance in this area is ok, due to the PCC being nearby and it helping the area be good. The food itself is always fantastic. The Big Carl is like a Big Mac, but better (and I am a huge Big Mac enthusiast). The limited-edition churro milkshake is fantastic btw, please give it a try if it's still available by the time you read this.”

This location (Arroyo Parkway off 110 fwy).is my personal favorite, go-to spot (dining alone, business meeting, family gatherings) it works well. Always kept clean. Food quality is good and service is timely & professional. I can go alone or host family gathering of 30+ individuals,.. always had good, professional and pleasant service.”

My friend and I grabbed an outdoor table and it was just the perfect vibe.
We got a couple of small plates. I can't remember the exact names on the menu, but everything was delicious.
We definitely ordered the octopus dish and it was fantastic.
We also shared what looked like a cheese and fruit board. It was great to nibble on while we chatted, with a nice variety of cheeses and some sweet, dried fruit.
If you're looking for a chill spot with great tapas, you absolutely have to check this place out.

As usual it was delicious and fresh- but they are using an app now to order and they really thought about the customer when they made it because you can add or remove any ingredient on every dish and if it's not listed -there is an option to write a note with your request. I know this seems basic- but I have encountered alot of apps that wont let me add or specify how I want it - like if I want it cooked well done or extra toasted.
I liked the option to choose what side or sauce (like their fresh cut ginger or chili oil) and how many I wanted and if I needed plates or utensils.

I think it may be that fake butter like Orville Redenbacher's bottled immitation butter liquid. They pour it over the hot plate to get it to sizzle and smoke. Similar to the weird stuff Mexican restaurants pour on the hot plates to get the fajitas to sizzle and smell. (Yes, it's fake) Google it. Everything else was okay, but just like Flemmings now, not the same quality. $80+ for a piece of meat is not my thing anymore.”

Their happy hour is awesome- a french pilsner for only $6! And the staff went out of their way to accommodate me near an outlet where i can drink and charge my phone. Again, was not expecting this pleasant bar, but will def be back!”

“The food was delicious. The price might sound expensive but I think it was worth it for the amount of food one can consume. It is all you can eat. The service was so-so. The carvers kept skipping our table as if we weren't there. The table next to us gathered much attention from the carvers. They kept stopping by their table to make small talk even after they had be done eating for over 20 minutes. One carvers had a full blown 20 minute conversation and the grandpa was even showing him things off his phone. That wouldn't have bothered me but when you skip our table and serve everyone else around us, that's my problem. It's like they were told not to come serve our table but our little marker was on green which mean keep serving. I would give the service a 2-3 and the food a 4.”

“We are so lucky to have this cafe here in Pasadena! I've tried the carbonara, puttanesca, sandwiches, foccacia, and fried zucchini blossom, and it's all been delicious. Their homemade bread is incredible and is the star of their amazing sandwiches. For fellow lovers of bittersweet Italian sodas, they stock chinotto here, as well a couple small bitter sodas! On top of how good the food is, the service is very warm and friendly. You can tell it's a family business run with a lot of love. Can't recommend it highly enough, and I'm looking forward to going back and trying even more of the menu.”

I got the chicken and rice meal. It was really good! The only thing I would do different is ask if they could heat up my chicken. I was not expecting cold chicken with warm rice.

I got takeout to eat in my car but waited till I got home so I could warm up the chicken. It was much better. I loved the dressing and exhaustion those onions. Absolute perfection.

Staff was very friendly. The establishment is super clean. They were still baking cookies at 8:00 p.m. which is great for those who love an evening snack!”

“A decent boba spot in Pasadena. I always wished they had more toppings. But all their drinks are good and consistent. They have a really small parking lot with Afters IceCream. But there’s plenty of street parking all around. I usually get their fresh jaded green mountain tea with black and white boba. I like almost all their drinks and the aesthetic vibes of the cafe. But I wish there was a restroom and more space area to sit and enjoy the tea there.”

“I saw this restaurant on Facebook or Insta on Friday night and the pic and menus made my mouth water. We took take out on Saturday night and the chicken was mouth-watering! I want to swing by again tonight just for the chicken. Since we did take out, when I got home the fries were cold and the salads were just OK. We didn’t care for the dressings they provided, (but that is just personal taste) I would definitely recommend, it is new to our neighborhood and we will eat there again.”

“After I was introduced to this boba store, no exaggeration, as people around me and store workers would know, I have been coming almost every day. I get the fruit tea (large) which is only $4. It’s so rare—I haven’t seen another store—that is as affordable and whose drink quality is still high. It feels like every coffee shop or boba shop is selling drinks for $7-10. Their drink is really good. I get 0 ice 0 sugar and it still tastes good (you know a tea place isn’t good if you get 0 sugar and then it tastes bitter/bad). Also with the 0 ice, I like that they aren’t just replacing the ice with water, but chilling more tea to top it off. They have internet, parking in back, and tables to study/do work.”

“Stopped by on a Saturday morning and the place was pretty busy, which is always a good sign. Luckily, seating is pretty abundant so it didn’t feel too cramped even with the crowd. There’s also parking in the back which made getting in and out pretty easy.

Tried a few drinks while I was there:

Banana Cream Latte – Loved the nutty, sweet combo here. It wasn’t overly sweet, which I appreciated. The banana flavor was definitely more prominent while the coffee notes stayed a bit more in the background.

Coffee Rain – The coffee flavor was a lot stronger in this one. The slight sweetness helped bring everything together and balance the drink nicely.

Matcha Latte – I don’t drink matcha very often so I don’t have too much to compare it to, but it was smooth and easy to drink.

They also carry pastries and desserts from a local bakery, which is a nice touch if you’re looking for something small to go with your drink.

Overall a solid coffee spot, especially if you’re meeting friends or looking for a place to hang out for a bit.”
