“Had to stop by my favorite Italian grubbin in the heart of Old Town Pasadena all the way from Boise. This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.”
“Food was absolutely delicious! Jonathan was an exceptional - guided us through the menu.”

“Oji is my favorite sushi spot in the area!!! I say that as someone who is picky about their sushi. Decent prices with the freshest mouth watering sushi! I usually order mostly sashimi and the sashimi here is always fresh and DELICIOUS! But it’s not just the sushi thats great here. The garlic edamame the agedashi tofu (haven’t been to a place that does it better) the dragon roll… honestly nothing on the menu is ever bad. Of course with sushi it’s always best to eat at the restaurant ( but even take out from here the sushi stands up). When you eat in the restaurant you also get to enjoy the atmosphere. When you step into the restaurant it’s obvious the owners put a lot of thought and effort into the place. While still casual it has a uniquely pleasant vibe. Also the service is great here too! If you’re up for some delicious cold sake, try the sho une junmai dajingo it’s ‘chef’s kiss’. To sum it all up, everything about this place is fantastic and you should definitely make this place your next sushi spot!”
“The food has to be experienced!! It’s high-end in taste and presentation, and the staff are professional but so fun that you feel like you’re with family. They are attentive to detail and will bend over backwards to make sure you have what you need. Service with a smile; this company is pure joy!”
“Bit of a long wait but we expect that on a Sunday morning. All family members, including kids, cleaned their plates. My veggie omelette was solid. Reminded me of an omelette bar! But the real star of the show was the hashbrowns. I’ll be thinking about them for the rest of the week lol. Our server was very nice. Honestly, all staff were friendly. We’ll be back. Oh, and my kids both highly recommend the chocolate chip pancakes! 😌”

“This was the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life. How? How does it get so crispy and juicy and savory and delicious? The short ribs and bbq was incredible too, so was the musubi. But I was so full and I couldn’t stop eating the freakin chicken. I feel so thankful.”
“Electric, instantaneous, efficient
These are 3 words I would use to describe the service at Sichuan street food.
I have long wanted to go and I finally dined here. With my family we ordered a myriad of dishes, each one was authentic, flavorful, and of course delicious.
Some of the best Chinese food I can recommend you.
I recommend for sure the Dan Dan noodles, the egg fried rice, the cumin lamb, diced chicken with spicy chilies, and green beans.
10/10”
“Entre Nous French Bistro has been a longtime favorite, I’ve been coming here since they opened. The escargot is incredibly tender, drenched in garlicky herb butter you want to soak up with bread. The oysters are ultra‑fresh and perfectly chilled, the ideal briny start to the meal. The steak is cooked spot‑on with a rich peppercorn sauce and crispy fries, making every bite feel like a true Parisian bistro experience. Matthew our waiter was amazing thank you for your amazing service.”

“took a date there on a weeknight they let me get to my table early to put flowers on the table for m date. the food was great and the drinks were perfect would recommend this place”
“How did this quirky gem evade my notice for five years?! I guess because they're only open Friday and Saturday. This may be the best restaurant in Pasadena. Inventive creole-inspired food. Everyone raved. Only thing I would change is to have it a little quieter. But our four-top could still converse well.”

“Came in with a big order on a Sunday and they gave me the best service with a great CAN DO attitude! Love it when they reflect positivity and it gave me warmth right back.
Food of course was amazing and fresh! Very well priced and kinda cute they put everything in pizza boxes. Highly recommend for family orders!”

“Ambiance and service are on top tier level. Service was above and beyond and the experience was great. Everyone that shows up is either a return customer or a neighboring colleague. For only being there for a couple of hours I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that’s a traveler or local. We had wings and pizza. The best for a late night drink and wind down.”
“Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to the charming, highly-rated Hello You're Welcome café. They make and bake everything in house- you can even see the ovens. Really friendly staff with a slight hippie vibe. Some items were made with almond flour, like their giant chocolate chip cookie, so I had to skip them (allergic). I was pleasantly overwhelmed by a delicious gigantic frittata slice with bacon, onions, and tater tots inside. Togadachi coffee is really interesting: the beans were fermented with lavender. Extra sugar helped me adjust to the unique flavor. The wall full of retail items features coffee beans in VHS boxes, which is a first! I love their mugs and bought one to take home.”
“We drive 35 miles at least three times a month to eat here. We love Home State and as a Native Texan, I can attest that their queso is the real deal!!! I just wish they'd open one in Claremont, CA!!! The Don't Mess With Texas is my favorite taco and my husband loves the brisket taco. Everything is amazing though!!!”
“Update after 2 years — still the best sushi I’ve had.
I wrote a long review a couple of years ago praising SUGARFISH as the best sushi I’d ever eaten. Just came back for a friend’s birthday and happy to report it’s still just as amazing the second time around.
We ordered the “Trust Me / Just Eat” set menu — absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared, and incredibly consistent with my first visit. Fresh fish, clean flavors, and that signature SUGARFISH quality that’s hard to beat.
Love seeing a place maintain such a high standard over time. Still a favorite.”

“Omg. It’s June 6th and this review is for Easter Sunday Brunch for Alexandros. The Waiter from Greece. Sorry for the delayed review Alexandros that I promised. Food and service here, impeccable, amazing, flawless. Alexandros is an amazing waiter.
Thank you.”
“The food was delicious, the service excellent, the establishment was clean, portions generous, and cost affordable. We ordered chow mein, fish with black bean sauce, and Mongolian beef. It's not Chinese fast food, it's a sit down restaurant. Surprised it wasn't crowded as the food is delicious. The location is a little non-descript but street parking was easy. I live in Gardena and although there are several Chinese restaurants, none are good. This was a lucky find as restaurant reviews in general tend to result in a bad choice.”
“We spent a long weekend in Pasadena and at first chose this Thai place because it was just 5min walking from our rental cottage. They greeted us so friendly and accommodated our requests for items on the side. Then, the next day we came back here because everything was so flavorful! My husband had the crispy sole fish special and I enjoyed the glass noodles with shrimp. Exquisite!
We highly recommend!”
“The asparagus fries. Crispy & not greasy. You can appreciate the asparagus flavor. We split the Thai spicy salad. It was spicy, but the Thai basil & the peanut dressing were the stars. It didn't need the chicken. The best was the ribeye melt. The meat was cooked perfectly. The sourdough was crusted with parmesan. With a side of horseradish that was perfectly paired for this sandwich.”
“What a hidden gem! This small quaint restaurant delivered some of the best food we had while visiting Pasadena. The flavors in the sauce (basil, olive oil and something else yummy) that surrounded the burrata were absolutely delicious! The lamb/beef/pork bolognese sauce on the spaghetti as well as the duck was excellent. Portions are definitely generous and shareable. Our only regret is we didn’t save room for dessert! Despite being there during the Rose Bowl with lots of people, the service was excellent! So glad we stumbled upon this restaurant via Resy, we’ve saved it in case we come to Pasadena again!! Bravo!!!”
“Our server was awesome... her recommendations were spot on! the food surpassed our expectations! exceptional...The ambiance was relaxing for a Friday night and perfect for our friend's birthday celebration. thank you for making it so special. Very happy party of 4 enjoyed dinner at Marina!”
“The best French food in LA. Chef is outstanding. Staff incredible. So yourself a favor. Go.”

“Carl's jr triple famous star ok to eat not unhealthy don't add cheese I added extra onions green chilies with coffee great taste I see other people review. California economy. Newsom. Under staffed true vegetarian people don't go here. Hamburgers are their specialty. The people are not diet nutrition experts. Look at the food to order.”
“The staff here is always so friendly and welcoming! The Tuxedo Hot Chocolate is a must-try if you love rich chocolate flavor, it’s creamy, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of sweetness. This location is always clean, cozy, and a great place to relax or get some work done.”
“It's IHOP ... There is a standard regarding food quality, level of service and atmosphere. This location (Arroyo Parkway off 110 fwy).is my personal favorite, go-to spot (dining alone, business meeting, family gatherings) it works well. Always kept clean. Food quality is good and service is timely & professional. I can go alone or host family gathering of 30+ individuals,.. always had good, professional and pleasant service.”
“Kevin and I stopped at this Jack in the Box on our way to Chantry Flat for a picnic lunch date, and it ended up being the perfect quick stop!
We placed a mobile order and chose drive-thru pickup, and everything was ready in under 5 minutes. The process was fast, convenient, and seamless ideal when you’re heading out for a day in the mountains.
The food was hot, fresh, and delicious, and the customer service was wonderful. This location is right next to the on-ramp, making it incredibly convenient and only about a 4-minute detour from our route.
Even after the drive up to Chantry Flat, our food was still warm, which made for the perfect picnic at the scenic Chantry Flat picnic tables.
If you’re looking for a quick and reliable fast food stop near Chantry Flat or along your route, this Jack in the Box is a fantastic choice.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!”
“First time having hotpot. The server was great and explained everything very well. Prices were good and the kids had lots of fun. Enjoyed every moment of these new experience.”
“I’m big fan of wood fire Pizza. Finally a halal spot. MashaAllah pizza is amazing. I love the crust. And the pizzas are light, so we got a couple options for me and my family.”
“The asparagus fries. Crispy & not greasy. You can appreciate the asparagus flavor. We split the Thai spicy salad. It was spicy, but the Thai basil & the peanut dressing were the stars. Takeout Restaurants
“Paul is very nice and made me feel so welcomed! He remembered me even though I've only been there once. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. If I recall correctly, he said that the strawberry cake ball, coffee cake, and a few others were popular picks. There is only outdoor sidewalk seating (a total of 3 small tables with 2 seats each). The interior is tiny, and it carries the feel of a quick in-and-out pickup store. It's also right across the street from Pasadena's Central Park if you're looking for a stroll while you eat. It's very transit-accessible. It's a 5 minute walk from the A line Del Mar station. death by chocolate cookie ($3.85) - It's just a typical double chocolate cookie! It's a little gritty and dry (maybe it's gluten free?) but still delicious nonetheless. coffee cake ($5.88) - sweet, with a flavor of cinnamon (not in an overpowering way). If you enjoy coffee cake, definitely get this, as vegan coffee cake is a rarity in Pasadena and LA. ice cream sandwich ($9.25) - honestly, i think this was a little too sweet for me. The ice cream itself was plain vanilla soft serve, but when sandwiched by two entire chocolate chip cookies, I think the sweetness can be overpowering. Keep in mind that it also melts very fast (since it has the consistency of soft serve) and this makes it hard to keep the whole sandwich in shape. If you do not plan to eat it right away, I would not recommend getting this as it'll melt in a mere minute.”
“Ginger's Corner Market is an absolute gem in Pasadena! Its incredible location, unique charm, stellar customer service and fire menu to match its definitely a must stop when in town!
It doesn't matter what you select you wont be disappointed! Trust me, I've almost had EVERYTHING ON THE MENU!! The wedge is a delight with caramelized bacon to drool for, or the classic Cobb you can never go wrong with. My personal favorite is the ham n brie sandwich which is an incredible palate pleaser with both sweet and savory in one!
Stop in! You won't be disappointed”

“I am visiting from Massachusetts and THIS place is THE BEST for quality, portions, price and friendliness of staff!!! and also the nice location, seating options (inside or balcony outdoors!) sunny!..geat mountain view!..casual and super clean and organized! A+++++++ my 2nd day here in a row for breakfast and the coffee is EXCELLENT & large cups too! ❤️”

“Ricardo was my waiter and it was my first time here. This place is a gem, the food is prepared fresh and with authenticity. Some people say you can’t taste or smell MSG, but I have a sensitivity to it, and I can say this place DOESN’T use MSG! This was something I deeply appreciate, and I take food serious, I enjoy experiencing culture via food and the people who serve it. This restaurant wasn’t too busy Saturday afternoon, to my surprise, but it should be hustling and bustling! I didn’t let this detour me, I lean on hidden gems mostly when I dine out. If you are in the area and looking for something new, and unique, or you are spending the morning at the Huntington Library/Museum and Botanical Garden like I was, (a short 7 minute drive through historic Pasadena/San Marino) try this true Chinese restaurant. The parking is directly across the way, they have a patio, and it’s nestled amongst other charming stores and restaurants. On weekends the location hosts local creatives markets, and music. I had the following increíble, well balanced and savory dishes: pork and chicken dumplings, vegetables fried rice (was very different in a delightful way!), chicken soup, three cup chicken, beef and Chinese broccoli, and jasmine ice tea.”
“Rose Tree Cottage is an absolute gem. From the moment you step through the door, you’re welcomed with warmth, charm, and genuine hospitality. The owners are truly delightful—gracious, jovial, and endlessly attentive—making you feel like a treasured guest rather than a visitor.
Their tea service is exceptional. Every detail, from the perfectly brewed tea to the beautifully presented treats, reflects care, tradition, and a love for creating memorable experiences. It’s the kind of place that reminds you how special a proper afternoon tea can be.
If you’re looking for an inviting, elegant, and wholeheartedly hospitable tea experience in Pasadena, Rose Tree Cottage is unmatched. Highly recommended.”
“I don’t know a single person who hates this place. Everyone is super friendly. The ice cream is so delicious. A small scoop is anything BUT small. And the 4-scoop sampler will forever be one of the best deals in all of the ice cream kingdom. May this place last forever.”
“Absolutely amazing BBQ!!! Nothing was regular or ordinary. The brisket was so tender and tasty and the Blue Masa Cornbread was to die for! Melts in your mouth! And don’t forget the Cole Slaw which deserves capital letters!! The Mac and Cheese (not like any you’ve ever had!) was comped by our new friend who was our ordering coach and it stole the show!! This place is new and Jensen is a class act and his food is BBQ but kicked up a notch !! Congrats Jensen!!!”

“Tonight was a special celebration for my Brother in law Paul, it's his birthday and the service was great from the start. We were sat right away by Claudia who was very pleasant. Our server was Jorge. Excellent service, very helpful with suggestions, we had the tomahawk, it was so well prepared and cooked to perfection. Appetizers were great, the favorite was the spicy shrimp, flavor was on point. The dessert was delicious. Our party of five was so happy. Shout out to all the staff tonight! Service was wonderful! We will return!”
“One word. FANTASTIC. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing. THE STEAK was absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD. perfectly cooked, great tasting, clearly extremely fresh. The steak was melt in the mouth good. The sides were also out of this world. I would HIGHLY recommend this steakhouse. I will be going here again.”

“This is a super tasty dessert featuring a generous serving of fluffy, finely shaved ice that melts delightfully in your mouth. I love how the light, airy texture complements the sweet, flavorful syrup drizzled on top, making it incredibly refreshing and satisfying. I highly recommend trying this treat for an enjoyable cooling experience.”
“Rodney's ribs are the Truth. I moved to Pasadena recently. I've had Q at Dreamland in Alabama, 12 Bones in North Carolina, Franklin's in Austin, Corky's in Memphis and Hecky's in Chicago, and this is some of the most righteously smoked meat I've ever had. Thank you, Rodney.”
“First time here. I ordered the Steak chimichurri sandwich. It was delicious. Had lots of flavor. My kid had their pizza, and we're very happy with it as well. All in all it was good experience for my first time. Will definitely come back and try a different meal.”
“Best Mexican food I've ever had.The Chile Colorado is amazing. As great as the food is, the service is even better. Lourdes is a gem. She is the definition of great service. Friendly, attentive and knows the large menu very well. Look no further for than Amigos Restaurant for great Mexican food.”
“Great service and great food. Everyone there is friendly and the food is wonderful. I'll have to go a few more times before I write about specific menu items.
I tried a bit of the Kebobs and the lulu sandwich. The sandwich was quite good with raw onions and tomatoes. But mostly, the atmosphere there was quite wonderful. Casual and friendly.”
“Amazing!! Atmosphere was incredible, food was delicious and the wait staff impeccable!”
“I'm 1/3 through the menu trying different entrees. So far, every meal has been a tasty treat! The food is always hot, flavorful, colorful . . . and delish!😋”
“The Braised Beef and Mushrooms with Mashed Potatoes . Mashed potatoes were so creamy I could had eaten a whole bowl of it by itself but Beef and mushrooms Just took it to whole other level”
“A hole in the wall gem. I've had barbeque throughout the US, and this place is up there with the best. My wife and I enjoyed the brisket with peach cobbler Al mode for dessert at the sidewalk table out front.
Perfect!”
“Always an amazing time here. Been coming to this location for years now. Service is second to none and food is delicious.”
“Super friendly staff, delicious food, and they know exactly what you need for the kiddos when they’re eating the delicious ramen! All rolls were great and high quality, and The Gangnam roll was my favorite!”
“Salad Dressing is amazing. Parking is horrible. They said 10-15 for my order. 25 minutes and I got a $52 Parking Citation🤬🤬🤬🤬”

“Amazing smoothies and bowls! Yummmmy! Cute shop with food and gift items as well!”
“The food and service is a 10! we will be back when in town. I'd come from Montana just to eat here it's that good”
“I’ve been 3 times in the past 3 weeks. Service and food is fantastic! Highly recommend Smitty’s Grill.”
“Every dish was delectable, and great service! We all had a fantastic time there! Definitely will be back, and for celebrations.”
“Great pizza with fresh ingredients and a crispy, flavorful crust. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. Service was a little slow at times, but the quality of the food makes it worth visiting.”

“Terrific staff and innovative cuisine. Small local restaurant who worked hard to keep staff through the pandemic closures with delicious creative take out and who are keeping everyone safe by requiring proof of vaccination for indoor dining. Fresh creative food.”
“Delicious, Peruvian (latino), home-made food to enjoy with family and friends. Definitely the Jalea mixta is just right for a big appetite! Nice and cozy environment. Will definitely come back again. ❤️
I came back and loved it all over again! 💕”
“The restaurant is elegantly decorated and has a comfortable atmosphere”
“Cool place to hang in Old Town Pasadena. Live music and a chill atmosphere.”
“A good meal marred by a cold draft because of an open door to the patio. Would not shut when requested. (If servers need handsfree access, put in a swinging door like other restaurants.)”
“Great service and everyone treats you like family!! Hands down one of my favorite restaurants and thank you Paulina.❤️🥰”
“Great food and a friendly staff. It’s my go to for Mexican food whether I’m dining in or taking out.”
“Definitely worth the challenge finding it and guessing the password (be very nice to the bouncer and ask for hints)
Food and drinks were delicious, love the old brick walls and decor.
Bathrooms were very well kept.”
“I came here on a packed Sat night. The place was dim and spacious. I loved the setup; ordering on the electronic pad reminded me of Korea!
I tried the chicken gizzards with soju. The gizzards were so good! I loved how they were prepared. The service was good, too.”
“Everything was really lovely. Food was delicious and staff were very nice and welcoming. Only problem we had is that I made the reservation for a birthday, and the hostess mentioned that she saw the special day and would make sure to bring something out, but this never happened. It was a bummer that the hostess told us something would be coming and it never did.”
“I went there about 9pm 6-4-26 Kathyn had the best costumer service out of any Yard House I've ever been too. The rest of the the staff is also excellent and very friendly. I will make my drive from Long Beach to eat there again it's worth my drive.”
“We were pleasantly surprised with this place. It’s clean, our server Loyd was very attentive and fast, the food and drinks were superb! Would definitely recommend and we will be returning!
Please guys open the same restaurant in Burbank we would like to see in our neighborhood too!”
“Honestly it's nice. The bar itself is a little dim. They have corndogs! Lol small menu but good bar food. Bartenders are nice and friendly. I would probably put another TV at the bar but thats just me. Its a hidden gem that didn't even know existed. Cheers 🍻”

“Amazing Mexican restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and great people. The food is always fresh and full of flavor. Do yourself a favor and try the Asada Quesadilla thank me later! Definitely a spot worth coming back”
“We really enjoyed eating here. I completely underestimated the portion sizes lol. The dishes were huge! We ordered spicy beef noodles, spicy wontons, chicken fried rice and watermelon juice. Everything was delicious. We will definitely come back. I am happy to have left overs for work tomorrow.”
“*YUM* is all I have to say!! We adore this place, and friends who have moved away always beg to go here for chicken when they come home to visit. The chicken falls off the bone, their fried tofu is to die for! . You cannot go wrong here! But pay attention to their hours. They close mid-day for a few hours.”
“Absolutely lovely spot for all kinds of Japanese food. The sushi was fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff were really helpful and sweet, helping us pick menu items and clarifying some things we weren't sure about. Even the bathrooms were lovely.”
“Had such an amazing experience last nigh ! The food so fresh and delicious prepared to perfection. Everyone was friendly and attentive even the chefs are super cool ! And definitely save room for that cheesecake yummmy ! I'll definitely be back. Thank you all at Colette's 😋😋👌🏼”

“I paid a visit solo on a Friday night out of curiosity. It was a great experience from entrance to exit. The cocktail presentations were creative. I tried a gentleman and a scholar and life and death. Both drinks were well mixed.”
“Food 4/5. Momos not that flavorful. Samosas are ok, not best flakey crust. Entree paneer masala was good spice for medium and creamy. Very nice staff and quick service.”
“Great food and service! It always felt like home when dining here.”

“Excellent food, great service and environment. Feels homey with gourmet cuisine. Consistently great, we come here about once a month. Drinks are excellent too. Thank you.”
“Probably the best porterhouse steak I have had in a very long time.”
“First time here eating at Pez with my girlfriend. We decided to change our usual spot in Pasadena for Valentine’s Day and go to Pez. The menu was very detailed on what it was instead of just names. It made the menu even more appealing and appetizing. My girlfriend ordered the handmade fettuccine and I ordered the seared jumbo scallops. They had brought out the wrong dish originally and brought out the cioppino on accident. It was then fixed immediately when the mistake was noticed. Even though it was incorrect that plate looked amazing as well. Maybe the next visit I’ll give it a try. After the mix up however we were shocked with how apologetic they were about the mix up that the chef came out to apologize. It meant a lot to see everyone take the mistake very seriously. While they rushed my correct order the chef came asked if the can keep my girlfriends plate warm. They took it back since we had been sitting a bit waiting for mine and believe they made her a whole new plate to be fresh as possible. We both got our new plates at the same time and another drink for myself. It was amazing all around. The pasta was fresh, the bell peppers were amazing compliment to the sauce and pasta. The scallops were to die for, don’t know if I can have good scallops anywhere else now. The service with it made it even better. We then finished it up with dessert by ordering the warm chocolate cake which was very rich and paired amazingly with the ice cream and brittle. At the end we left amazed and are ready to come again. The cherry on top was when I returned from the restroom seeing chef speaking to my girlfriend about the food and service. Can’t wait to come back again.”
“always great food. today a problem with the fish and chips. over cooked and dry”
“This place does Japanese AND Thai food?! So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their spicy tuna and imitation crab crispy rice, dragon roll, and chicken pad Thai to try. The spicy tuna was smooth, not fishy, not really spicy, and pretty limey. The imitation crab mixture was mellow, not fishy or stringy, and was a little mayoy. The rice on the bottom was lightly crispity crunchity and chewy. The dragon roll was filled with more of that imitation crab mix and crunchy briney not fishy masago and was topped with a thin layer of creamy avocado, fatty skin on eel, and sweet drizzle. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the eel skin. The pad Thai came fresh crunchy iceberg lettuce topped with like a peanut sauce dressing. The pad Thai itself was nicely sweet, savory, and tangy and had chewy springy rice noodles, crunchy bean sprouts and a decent amount of a bit dry chicken breast, egg, and bean curd. They’re family owned, everyone here is super nice, and everything tasted really fresh, clean, and not fishy which I like. Overall this place is lowkey pretty good.
Crispy rice $8.50
Dragon roll $19
Chicken pad Thai $21.50”

“Rodney's ribs are the Truth. I moved to Pasadena recently. I've had Q at Dreamland in Alabama, 12 Bones in North Carolina, Franklin's in Austin, Corky's in Memphis and Hecky's in Chicago, and this is some of the most righteously smoked meat I've ever had. Thank you, Rodney.”
“My significant other and I treated ourselves to 90 minutes of normal at The George and strongly urge you to do the same! Food, truffle fries, pork cop and salmon all delicious! Angela was our server and she was attentive and charming! The atmosphere was a comforting refuge. So take a break and support The George and have a wonderful meal with family and friends!”
“My first impression was the cleanliness and friendly staff. Secondly being my first time all my questions were met with great care to detail. And lastly the freshness and delicious food was phenomenal and priced very well. I am now a Kokoroll customer for life. Thank you! Ps. I only wish I’d found you sooner 😊 HIGHLY RECOMMEND AAA+”
“EXCELLENT food! Be warned: because we missed it- this is a market that does TAKE OUT ONLY! So, order ahead and pick up. I had the Jerk Chicken lunch- freaking FANTASTIC! My partner got a fish plate which was excellent as well. Staff nice, food good, order ahead!”
“4 of us ate at the new Craft at LA Live but I can't find it here so recommending them on the Pasadena location. This was the second night they had been open last Saturday. Service was outstanding. Judy did a terrific job taking care of us and the head chef and owner cam by to welcome us. Food was outstanding too. Great place.”

“My husband and I were visiting the LA area last week. We walked into Mi Piace - it was Monday, they were open when so many places weren’t. So glad we did. It was fabulous-great food, fair prices and a wonderful server. Try the minestrone. Amazing. Salad was great, too.”
“Well being as my fault because we were late, but we ended up with buffet which was ok. The food was not as tasty, omelette station was too slow because I am assuming she was slow plus she was working alone. Our waiter was very attentive busboy was very helpful. Overall it was good. I need to come back for actual breakfast as a sit downs and ordering it then I might give it a five star.”

“We love Criterion Coffee! The coffee is arguably the best coffee we’ve had!
The coffee shop looks really nice inside and has been very well decorated aesthetically!
It looks like it’s got a nice place to stay and work on the second floor, too
Wish we had more time here, but it’s a coffee shop that we’ll be returning to!”
“We are so lucky to have this cafe here in Pasadena! I've tried the carbonara, puttanesca, sandwiches, foccacia, and fried zucchini blossom, and it's all been delicious. Their homemade bread is incredible and is the star of their amazing sandwiches. For fellow lovers of bittersweet Italian sodas, they stock chinotto here, as well a couple small bitter sodas! On top of how good the food is, the service is very warm and friendly. You can tell it's a family business run with a lot of love. Can't recommend it highly enough, and I'm looking forward to going back and trying even more of the menu.”
“I finally got to check this place out. I've been wanting to go since it opened.
I got the chicken and rice meal. It was really good! The only thing I would do different is ask if they could heat up my chicken. I was not expecting cold chicken with warm rice.
I got takeout to eat in my car but waited till I got home so I could warm up the chicken. It was much better. I loved the dressing and exhaustion those onions. Absolute perfection.
Staff was very friendly. The establishment is super clean. They were still baking cookies at 8:00 p.m. which is great for those who love an evening snack!”
“A decent boba spot in Pasadena. I always wished they had more toppings. But all their drinks are good and consistent. They have a really small parking lot with Afters IceCream. But there’s plenty of street parking all around. I usually get their fresh jaded green mountain tea with black and white boba. I like almost all their drinks and the aesthetic vibes of the cafe. But I wish there was a restroom and more space area to sit and enjoy the tea there.”
“I saw this restaurant on Facebook or Insta on Friday night and the pic and menus made my mouth water. We took take out on Saturday night and the chicken was mouth-watering! I want to swing by again tonight just for the chicken. Since we did take out, when I got home the fries were cold and the salads were just OK. We didn’t care for the dressings they provided, (but that is just personal taste) I would definitely recommend, it is new to our neighborhood and we will eat there again.”
“After I was introduced to this boba store, no exaggeration, as people around me and store workers would know, I have been coming almost every day. I get the fruit tea (large) which is only $4. It’s so rare—I haven’t seen another store—that is as affordable and whose drink quality is still high. It feels like every coffee shop or boba shop is selling drinks for $7-10. Their drink is really good. I get 0 ice 0 sugar and it still tastes good (you know a tea place isn’t good if you get 0 sugar and then it tastes bitter/bad). Also with the 0 ice, I like that they aren’t just replacing the ice with water, but chilling more tea to top it off. They have internet, parking in back, and tables to study/do work.”
“Was feeling hungry after getting labs done and stumbled upon this place by chance. I am so happy that I did because the sandwiches are AMAZING!! Me and my partner got “The Godmother”, Prosciutto & Fig, with a homemade sparkling lemonade. All three were absolutely fantastic and mouth watering, it all tasted so fresh! The size of the sandwiches had me so surprised by how good the prices here are! The woman that helped us was also super friendly and attentive. This place is a must if you’re in the area and craving a sandwich that is really good quality!! 🤩”
“I love this new Korean cafe in Pasadena. Their matcha is soo good and creamy! The pastries are delicious as well! They have a lot of options to choose from coffee, non caffeinated drinks , tea, pastries. And fruits desserts I’m definitely going to try their cute fruit desserts when I come back.
Service is amazing, my drinks and pastries came out really fast and everyone was friendly.
Ambiance is cute, and plenty of seating. They also sell some merch like shirts, coffee, tea and cups.
