“Food was absolutely delicious! Jonathan was an exceptional - guided us through the menu.”
“Had to stop by my favorite Italian grubbin in the heart of Old Town Pasadena all the way from Boise. This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. Our service was attentive and pleasant; the vibe is always vibrant and homey. Highly recommended.”
“One of my fav sushi spots in Pasadena & I’d say we only have about 3 or 4 of them. I’ve been in 3 times so far and I’ve always had the same server, she’s really friendly and attentive. The Chirashi lunch special (in photo) is spectacular! The fish is so fresh and when you open up the bottom compartment, there are pickles and some other fish bits bits (?) inside. It really is so good and if you love fish, you CANNOT go wrong w this order. It’s also a very generous portion. This is probably something I’ll stick to because when I tried their rolls I wasn’t nearly as impressed. Their rolls were good but nothing memorable. I’ll continue to go back and order sashimi and the chirashi bowl though.”

“The best French food in LA. Chef is outstanding. Staff incredible. So yourself a favor. Go.”
“Mixed reviews esp as of late may reflect a general ennui over the place. If you love Spanish food and chefs, for you Dos Besos will be solid, old fashioned, well executed, and yes, a bit forlorn. The outdoor cafe has potential for joy, but it just doesn't reach past its ropes. My tapas, sangria, and almond cake desert were lovely. As a solo diner, a lady at that, I thought service could have been more cosmopolitan, fresh, and to use an overused word, modern. On one hand I encountered a chef via phone earlier that day who was affable, warm. Then, when I met the head chef in person, he was cold, which is fine, do you. But there was no spark overall, just another semi-nice place to spend money on a Pasadena evening. A staff member was quick to give me his number, flirtatious. Between the hot and cold of the chef, and the staff, I wondered how rare it might be for a woman to come here solo to simply be quiet, people watch, eat well, and enjoy. I could be wrong, but I think the endeavor, the restaurant was a dream for the chef made true by a sugar mama (forgive the expression), and it does have that (sullen) sense of (dull) acceptance. I am glad I went, happy the chef suggested I sit outside, and appreciated the nearby lifeblood and bustle of a restaurant courtyard across the street, and the steady flow of energy into and out of Kings Taco - both visibile from the outdoor courtyard. The sangria, so good, I would love some right now. The almond cake, again, solid, well executed, but I would not say it was full of love.”

“Delicious. No dine in available, but I recommend eating it asap. Chicken katsu curry, fried chicken, and the spam musubi were fantastic. The lady operating the register was very nice. Was about 20 minutes from time of order to pickup. 10/10 gonna go back. All the sauces were great too. Definitely give it a try if you're near by”
“Going local-origin for my next batch of pumpernickel bagels. Choco-latte and Nicaraguan chocolate down here are legit crazy awesome!”
“This Sichuan restaurant in Los Angeles is amazing , you can even choose your spice level! The chef’s skills are top-notch, and every dish gives me that warm feeling of being back home. I came a bit late today, so the bullfrog was sold out, but luckily they still had pork kidney, which was fantastic. Great service too , highly recommended!”
“Absolutely in love with this place. Gigi and her mom have built something special here. The BEST gluten free donuts I have ever had. I’ve been gluten free for five years and have been consistently disappointed with crumbly, dry donuts. Not anymore. This place has changed the game. Their donuts are perfectly moist and amazingly flavorful. I am beaming after visiting this place. Easily my new favorite spot and I will definitely be coming back. Impeccable vibes from the super chill baristas.”
“Always an amazing time here. Been coming to this location for years now. Service is second to none and food is delicious.”
“Ok. So I have to start out by saying im not a big fan of sushi. Im your typical California roll or fried sushi. Having said that this place changed the way I think about sushi! I always wondered how real Japanese sushi would taste and I have a feeling this place is certainly close to that. I had recently watched a documentary on Netflix and how this one place in Japan you just trust the chef to serve you delicious 😋 sushi! Well this is place does the same and boy it doesn't disappoint. I've never had salmon melt in my mouth like that or had sushi rice taste sooo good. And the ginger ! Thats real stuff
I would highly recommend this place. Will certainly be coming back.”

“We drive 35 miles at least three times a month to eat here. We love Home State and as a Native Texan, I can attest that their queso is the real deal!!! I just wish they'd open one in Claremont, CA!!! The Don't Mess With Texas is my favorite taco and my husband loves the brisket taco. Everything is amazing though!!!”
“WOW! I love the simple menu here with dishes that have been perfected and are so so good. We came for dinner and it was pretty slow. Food is made fresh and takes a minute, but that’s to be expected. Highly recommended checking this place out and supporting this amazing small business!!!”

“Love this place. Great people, excellent food, awesome prices and fast service. My only complaint is that I wish they were open longer. They close early usually around 3-4 in the afternoon. Still tho, best little burger joint in the area. I'd rather go here versus in n out. For real.”
“The asparagus fries. Crispy & not greasy. You can appreciate the asparagus flavor. We split the Thai spicy salad. It was spicy, but the Thai basil & the peanut dressing were the stars. It didn't need the chicken. The best was the ribeye melt. The meat was cooked perfectly. The sourdough was crusted with parmesan. With a side of horseradish that was perfectly paired for this sandwich.”
“The service, the food, the environment and the kindness and efficiency of our server tonight! 😋👍”

“This was my second visit to Entre Nous French Bistro, and it absolutely confirmed what I felt the first time—this place is a hidden gem. We came yesterday to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and everything about the evening was simply perfect.
We were a party of five and shared a variety of dishes that showcased the kitchen’s finesse and authenticity. We started with the Daily Pick Oysters, which were impeccably fresh and beautifully presented. The Tartare de Saumon was bright and delicate, and the Escargots de Bourgogne were everything you’d hope for—garlicky, buttery, and so satisfying. The Homemade Duck Pâté was another standout—rich, rustic, and perfectly paired with fresh baguette slices.
For entrées, we had the Filet Mignon, Rack of Lamb, Magret de Canard, French Fries, and the Salmon special of the day. Every single dish was a hit. The meats were expertly cooked to temperature, the sauces were layered and flavorful, and the sides were just as impressive. Even the fries deserve a shoutout—crispy, golden, and addictive.
The service was warm, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. They made sure my sister felt celebrated, and we never once felt rushed. The ambiance is cozy and intimate, with just the right touch of French charm.
Entre Nous continues to impress, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in town. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a night out, this bistro delivers every time. Already looking forward to visit number three!”
“Flew in from Las Vegas for the day with my son for an appointment next door, and we decided to have lunch here. We ordered a few appetizers (Hot & Sour Spup, Edamame, Mu Shu, Mussels, Letruce Wraps, Lobster & Shrimp Won Ton) to share, and my son had the Panda Inn Special. The service was amazing — very attentive and friendly. The food was great and perfect for sharing. A bit on the salty side for my taste, but my son absolutely loved it. Some of my photos may show the dishes after we had already started eating! We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather — the patio area was lovely. Overall, a very nice restaurant and a great dining experience. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some good Asian cuisine.”
“Love this place, pleasant spacious interior. Thoughtful bar program, delicious N/A options. Caesar salad is delicious - anchovy heavy, which I love. Dry-aged ceviche needs more fish. That’s my only complaint. I had sea bass prepared in a German inspired style with sauerkraut, pan fried sausage, and potatoes. It was delicious!”

“The food was delicious, the service excellent, the establishment was clean, portions generous, and cost affordable. We ordered chow mein, fish with black bean sauce, and Mongolian beef. It's not Chinese fast food, it's a sit down restaurant. Surprised it wasn't crowded as the food is delicious. The location is a little non-descript but street parking was easy. I live in Gardena and although there are several Chinese restaurants, none are good. This was a lucky find as restaurant reviews in general tend to result in a bad choice.”
“Our server was awesome... her recommendations were spot on! the food surpassed our expectations! exceptional...The ambiance was relaxing for a Friday night and perfect for our friend's birthday celebration. thank you for making it so special. Very happy party of 4 enjoyed dinner at Marina!”
“The food has to be experienced!! It’s high-end in taste and presentation, and the staff are professional but so fun that you feel like you’re with family. They are attentive to detail and will bend over backwards to make sure you have what you need. Service with a smile; this company is pure joy!”
“The food and service is a 10! we will be back when in town. I'd come from Montana just to eat here it's that good”

“Theresa was amazing!! She gave the best customer service I have every experienced at a fast food restaurant. She was very friendly and attentive. I asked for tomatoes on my Spicy Chicken Sandwich. When I received my sandwich, I noticed there was no tomatoes on it. I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I ate it as is, no sweat! In the middle of eating the sandwich, Theresa said “there was something wrong with your sandwich huh?” And I said “haha yeah but no worries, I’m enjoying it!” Theresa went above and beyond and brought out complimentary fries and apologized! I have no idea how she knew there was a mistake, but I was blown away by how sweet and attentive she was. Thank you again Theresa! I will definitely be coming here again!”
“The team at this Starbucks just gets it right. Each time we go, our drinks are made perfectly without fail. The management is quick to fix even the appearance of an issue which makes all the difference. The baristas are kind, competent, and look for ways to brighten your day or night since they're open 24 hours a day.”
“Their tacos were stuffed and overflowing with fresh lettuce and meat. The staff looked like they are working so hard in the heat but maintained their friendliess and speed to deliver orders. I ordered via the app and waited a total of 45 seconds when I picked up my order at the drive thru.”
“The food is yum the perfect employee’s are very attentive care about their customers very professional they don’t shove your food in a bag and send you on your way. That’s the new thing instead of a tray other restaurants are shoving your food in a to go bag . Very rude I guess think. But not Del ”
“I went at night time. About 3:00 in the morning where there's only one cook and one service person, but they both did an excellent job!
Food was super on point!
I got the banana Foster crepes. So glad they brought their banana syrup back. Even if you're not a fan of bananas you have to give that a try. I'm not and yet I love the banana flavor of their syrup LOL”
“Amazing smoothies and bowls! Yummmmy! Cute shop with food and gift items as well!”
“took a date there on a weeknight they let me get to my table early to put flowers on the table for m date. the food was great and the drinks were perfect would recommend this place”

“Y'all... I can finally eat the greens!!! They make them with turkey instead of pork and I gobbled them things up. Almost went for more!
I got the chicken plate with 2 sides, mac and cheese and the greens. Comes with a slice of whole wheat bread. Chicken was a bit dry but the sauce helped it... until I ran out of the bbq sauce.
I got the hot and regular bbq sauces. The hot had a nice kick, very tangy. Both were sweet and thick. The cups weren't filled up all the way, which would probably be helpful. They were about half full and I had used both cups to dip the chicken, so halfway through eating the chicken, I was out of sauce. This is where the greens came in handy, to dip the chicken in the juices or eat the chicken with the greens to add some moisture.
Mac and cheese was good. Nice creamy cheesr sauce and soft noodles.
I will definitely go back, just know to order a few extra sides of bbq sauce!”
“Just amazing...this stuff is so beautiful I almost didn't want to eat it! But I did, haha, and it was great! I love that there is so much variety, from cookies to cakes, and the owner is such a sweet person! I'll definitely keep them in mind for my birthday when it rolls around in August. Keep up the good work!”
“One of the best coffee spots in Pasadena! Love coming here to get my caffeine fix in. I've tried most of the menu and you honestly can't go wrong picking any drink. They offer hot and iced coffee as well as matcha and a few pastries. The owners are extremely kind people who clearly love what they do and it shows. They also give back to the community which speaks volumes. I cannot recommend this cute little coffee truck enough.”
“Hidden gem, this place has some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in the area. I tried the Margherita, really great balance of flavors. Not too heavy on the sauce or cheese, and it didn’t give me that heavy, greasy feeling while eating it like a normal pizza does. This tells me they’re using good quality ingredients. Worth driving out to, I’m definitely coming back!”
“Just kind of wandered into this place. It was clean, and a good selection of breakfast and light lunch fare (sandwiches, salads, etc). I had the vegan sandwich that came with a side of mixed greens. Everything was super fresh, the tempeh was flavorful, I loved the creamy spread, and the sourdough was perfectly toasted. And not a bad price! You order at the front and they give you a number, and the food came out pretty quickly. The staff were super friendly. Not a huge space, but there several tables open at 12:45pm on a Monday. 1 hour parking on the street (they might also have a garage, but I parked on the street).”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I am addicted to the sahara fries. I have been there 3 times and everytime I say that I will be trying a new dish but their sahara fries (half cream chop and half chicken shawerma) always seem to be calling my name, the atmosphere gives a very casual semi fast food vibe but the food is quality. HIGHLY recommend this place.”
“Not a place to stay.. mostly to take out..
For a long time I ask the combo with one sandwich, one piece of chicken and fries....for about $15. What can I say about this fried chicken...
I work in the astronomical community so I clearly do NOT believe in Alien life forms visiting our planet.
But THESE chickens are OUT of this world!!! Medium is my right level of spiciness not to hot to cry, not too mild to pass under the radar.. For me a non mexican hispanic, MEDIUM is the right ammount of joy that life needs. Meat is tender an juicy, the batter is crisp and not too thick, bun is never soggy nor dry nor hard.... fries are homestyle and the dipping sauce is the fatty complement to tame the wildness of the spiciness. I really would like to go one notch above medium......but I am not that brave yet... hopefully next time!!!!”
“Honestly love when we get to go here. The food is fantastic. The hospitality is so kind. The whole place is such a vibe and lovely people. We had the friend chicken and the shrimp and grits. We got the gumbo and biscuits to go so we could have them for breakfast the next morning.”

Fine Dining
“We were back at the Langham for my hubbys bday. He is a big red meat eater and I wanted to do something nice. For starters we had the oysters, and beet salad. I would have likes more generous oysters, 3 of the 6 looked flat. Im not sure if that was due to the type but in any case I would skip them next time. The beet salad was great. I traditonally like beet salad that has variety of beet types. This was just red beets and it was good nonetheless. For the main course I got the sea bass and it was the best sea bass Ive ever had from the first bite. Wowsa!! Hinby had the Tasmanian Waygu New York Strip. It was divine and such a generous portion. For sides we had the mushrooms, mac and cheese, and brussel sprouts and all were good and came in sharing size portions. Even though the food had a rich taste we were not weighed down after dinner. They gave my husband a complimentary slice of pecan dessert for his bday, which was nice. We did not order additional desserts because we had after dinner plans which already included dessert. It is had to critique anything I would say do a bread basket with a variety of breads the sourdough is good but that shell was too hard. And there is a mocktail with blackberry that is served inside the hotel bar that was not on the menu in the restaurant, our mocktails were good but if you go to the bar get the blackberry mocktail. Bomb!! If you want grown and sexy dining that is worth the price will not go wrong.”
“We had an amazing time celebrating my husband's birthday at Ruth's Chris! They printed a special menu for him as I specifically had requested. We were given delicious, fresh bread with butter and ordered the goat cheese/artichoke dip as an appetizer. My only criticism was that there could have been more toast provided because the dip portion was large! We split the 16 oz ribeye medium-rare and had the garlic mash, which were both amazing. My husband really enjoyed the KC Paper Plane cocktail and I had a Pinot, which paired well with my steak. The service and food were both outstanding! I would definitely return to this location.”

“THE best birria in town! been coming to Alvaro and his team since the very beginning nearly 3 years ago, and the food has only gotten better. the queso tacos with connsomé are legendary and we love impressing out of town friends with them. there’s always a spread of fresh salsas and accouterments. check Birria Master’s IG @BirriaMaster for hours and specials (they’ll occasionally experiment with different meats and offerings such as lingua, seafood tostadas). plenty of family style seating as well as parking in the lot and street parking.”
“Old school. Order at the window then pick up and eat at a table inside or out. Very fast service and delicious. My bottomless pit son could only eat half of his breakfast burrito! Lots of things on the menu, but it was our first time so we stuck with the famous burritos.
Can't wait to go back again.”
“We’ve been coming to this spot for years, even back when it had different owners the Thai food was always amazing. We recently decided to try it again under the new ownership, and wow… still absolutely delicious!
We ordered the Pad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, and Pineapple Fried Rice. My husband also had a Thai Iced Tea with boba everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. This is officially our go-to Thai food place!
The restaurant is small and cozy, with a calm and quiet ambiance. The service was excellent professional, polite, and very attentive. Even the bathroom was spotless, which is always a plus.
Highly recommend this gem in Pasadena!”
“Best Mexican food I've ever had.The Chile Colorado is amazing. As great as the food is, the service is even better. Lourdes is a gem. She is the definition of great service. Friendly, attentive and knows the large menu very well. Look no further for than Amigos Restaurant for great Mexican food.”

“It may seem petty - but for what seemed to be fine dining the table was poorly set and with paper napkins. Our server was pushing the special and when the lady next to me ordered the chicken (which I had planned to order), he tried to talk her out of it saying you could get a dish like that anywhere. When it came my turn, I said “Please don't try to talk me out of the Brick Chicken!” He didn't say a word.”
“I’ve been 3 times in the past 3 weeks. Service and food is fantastic! Highly recommend Smitty’s Grill.”
“Great spot for Korean comfort food in Pasadena! We ordered japchae, tteokbokki, galbi, kimchi fried rice, honey garlic chicken, and spicy chicken, everything was flavorful, well-seasoned, and generous in portions.
Service was fantastic, our server was on point and kept the Diet Cokes coming without us asking. The space is big, has a projector and multiple TVs for watching sports, and parking is super convenient right next door (paid lot).
Definitely a new go-to for casual eats and hanging out with friends.”
“Love this place, pleasant spacious interior. Thoughtful bar program, delicious N/A options. Caesar salad is delicious - anchovy heavy, which I love. Dry-aged ceviche needs more fish. “The restaurant is elegantly decorated and has a comfortable atmosphere”
“Great service, amazing food (very big portions). The place could use better ventilation so you don't smell like a Peruvian kitchen when you leave the place.”
“Our server was awesome... her recommendations were spot on! the food surpassed our expectations! exceptional...The ambiance was relaxing for a Friday night and perfect for our friend's birthday celebration. thank you for making it so special. Very happy party of 4 enjoyed dinner at Marina!”
“Came based off the reviews and wasn’t disappointed!
Solo diner on a Sunday late afternoon and the place was busy! Got a great table and had mixed tempura, Philadelphia roll and coconut roll. All of which was super delicious. I took half home in a to go box for snacks later.
Would highly recommend & be a regular if I was local.”
“Great service and everyone treats you like family!! Hands down one of my favorite restaurants and thank you Paulina.❤️🥰”
“Great food and a friendly staff. It’s my go to for Mexican food whether I’m dining in or taking out.”
“This Sichuan restaurant in Los Angeles is amazing , you can even choose your spice level! The chef’s skills are top-notch, and every dish gives me that warm feeling of being back home. “This place is located on the second floor of the paseo good options for food, good drink options and you can sit either inside or outside of the noise level is high inside the restaurant. They also have bar seating inside. The windows of the booths on the north side overlook Colorado Blvd.”
“Delicious Zaru Soba set. The dipping broth had a wonderful unique flavor. The tempura on the side was perfectly bartered and not overly oily. Everything was fresh and delicious. Beautiful atmosphere - l can’t wait to try more here.”
“I came across this bar after leaving a Halloween show in Burbank and wanted to grab a couple of drinks. I found this spot online and saw it had great reviews, so I decided to stop by and I’m glad I did! I ordered a drink called Whiskey Time, and it was amazing. We also had the carne asada fries, and honestly, they might be the best fries I’ve ever had. The place has a really cool, laid-back vibe, feels private, and the service was great. I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.”
“Updating review based on my latest visit to this magical place. If I ever do something stupid in the wrong state and end up on death row, my last meal will be the spaghetti from Holy Saints.
SPAGHETTI IS BETTER THAN THE SPAGHETTI AT UNION. Reminds me of an NYC restaurant - really nice, low key and GREAT food. Very comfortable. The server was a total dork - super nice, unpretentious and funny, asked me if I trust her twenty seconds after we met (I bet she plays Tetris). The music had no F’s left to give in the best way possible - definitely heard some Jefferson Starship in there and one of those songs that could be Chicago or REO Speedwagon. Will come back 1000 times - so glad this place exists.”
“Cool place to hang in Old Town Pasadena. Live music and a chill atmosphere.”
“I was heading to another bar and wanted to try this place out first. I drank some beers, ate some complementary salsa (the chips were really good!), and watched some sports. The place was pretty packed; the private room was occupied.
The service was great. They were efficient even when it was a packed house.
They have a good size parking lot. You can park in the neighborhood for free also.”
“Their Old Fashion is delicious and paper plane as well. I love that it isn't extremely loud and the music is a great mix that always compliments the ambiance. You need a password to get in, but that shouldn't be a problem. Screw Flanders.”

“Great lobster roll and even though the margarita is agave wine rather than tequila, very tasty! Highly recommend”
“If you are into Japanese sushi, this hidden gem in Pasadena will bring you a smile because food here is so delicious! Service was 5 star service and will be back soon!”
“Had such an amazing experience last nigh ! The food so fresh and delicious prepared to perfection. Everyone was friendly and attentive even the chefs are super cool ! And definitely save room for that cheesecake yummmy ! I'll definitely be back. Thank you all at Colette's 😋😋👌🏼”
“We had a great Mommy outing. The glass partitions made us feel safe.”
“Wish I had taken photos of our food but it wouldn't have done it much justice. Pizza is delicious - every single bite. Had wings and Ceaser Salad. Service is hit and miss. I've dined here several times and two nights ago the bouncer was giving hella odd vibes. Food is worth it though lol.”
“Terrific staff and innovative cuisine. Small local restaurant who worked hard to keep staff through the pandemic closures with delicious creative take out and who are keeping everyone safe by requiring proof of vaccination for indoor dining. Fresh creative food.”
“I paid a visit solo on a Friday night out of curiosity. It was a great experience from entrance to exit. The cocktail presentations were creative. I tried a gentleman and a scholar and life and death. Both drinks were well mixed.”
“Every dish was delectable, and great service! We all had a fantastic time there! Definitely will be back, and for celebrations.”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😍😍😍😍😍 every meal is made fresh. Hands down a favorite”
“Excellent food, great service and environment. Feels homey with gourmet cuisine. Consistently great, we come here about once a month. Drinks are excellent too. Thank you.”
“Excelente comida!!! Muy rico mi tapado gracias! También el aguas de maracuya me gusto mucho”
“It was wonderful! Historic surroundings (ask about it). The staff provided assistance with the menu and offered valuable suggestions. The service was great and pizza was quickly delivered without compromise. Created with quality ingredients and crust with a nice chew. I highly recommend this one.”
“Probably the best porterhouse steak I have had in a very long time.”
“Loved everything about this place. Inviting and warm atmosphere with good service. We tried their signature curry of chicken katsu and shrimp tempura, it was perfect. Their salmon roll and their Go Go roll were delicious. Price was very reasonable. Will go back to try their other menu items or sit by the sushi carousel which looks fun.”
“I recommend for my friends and partners, a suitable place....nice meal🥰”
“The food was FABULOUS!!!!! Will definitely 👍 be going back for more!!!!!”

“Update, two weeks later: So after a slightly rocky start, we went again - the food and wine were excellent as before, but the service really really improved since the last time. I can highly recommend this place to go for a good time. If you are with friends, make sure you try "family style" - order loads of munchies - the four of us shared the charcuterie board (the salami was among the best I ever had), the flatbreads, the baked brie - and a sample plate of their delicious oils - so so so good - and given the superb quality, reasonably priced. Not to forget: did you ever try vanilla ice cream with olive oil - you should ;-) So thankful they understood and appreciated my earlier review. I will surely go again soon. Previous review: Oh, what a wonderful place - and an amazing concept. My wife and I took two friends yesterday. We were seated at a table for two, with the promise to be relocated to the table next to us as patrons were close to getting their check. Never happened, no problem.I wanted to order a bottle of wine. The service recommended tasting their canned wines - 4 different ones for $49. Canned wine? I come from Germany, from Koblenz, where the rivers Rhine and Mosel meet. Canned wine? Seriously? Still, why not try something new?So the four of us received four balloon glasses with the four wines. Wine tasting? Share every glass physically with four people in times of Corona? They must be kidding. I would have expected to get four cans - and, in all honesty, four small glasses for each of us. Sure: it ain't the Ritz - a personal glass for each of us. But sure: this ain't "The Ritz," so we shared. We are really good friends, and we did have a good time. The wine was OK - which sounds as if something was wrong - it wasn't. It was OK - nice experience, but I would personally not order again - while it may be perfectly fine for you, the reader (by the way, I appreciate you reading this ;-)Then: the food. As with the wine, we wanted to share. We started with the baked brie, which was really really good, and the burrata flatbread, which came soaked, and I really mean soaked, in Oil. Sadly, it did not come with silverware. We asked three times but never got it. Then, we asked if we could have at least some napkins. We got two. We were here to share, weren't we ;-)I asked for the check. The printer had issues. Happens. We were not in a rush. Service offered a sip of wine while we had to wait. Sure, a nice gesture. Sadly, the wine never came. After just under half an hour, we got some sort of check - still issues with the printer. We were charged $61 for the wines - they were charged separately and not, as per the menu and recommendation, as the $49 offer. $12 was refunded. Receipt: sorry, the printer.I really wanted to love the place, and as we enjoyed the company of our dear friends in a nice atmosphere, loved the brie, and drank the wine, I did not want to spoil the evening by arguing about the service, which really "has potential."It would have been easy to make this a five-star recommendation, as the location, atmosphere and general concept scream fabulous. I would possibly go again. At the moment, I feel sorry for the place.”
“Loved our dinner at Dan Modern Chinese in Pasadena! The food was amazing, everything from the dumplings to the noodles was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Our server Eric was awesome, super kind, and made great recommendations. Anthony and the rest of the team were really helpful and made the whole experience even better. Great vibe, great service, and delicious food. We can’t wait to come back!”
“I’ve been cutting out refined sugar and it’s been difficult but I came across this place and I was able to have a wonderful chocolate shake with almond milk and cocoa, yes it had sugar but pure cane sugar. It was a great alternative and it taste so yummy! I was also able to add toppings, healthy toppings, strawberries, blueberries, etc. so good! Can’t wait to go back❤️”
“2nd time going here and it was just as delicious as the first time! The staff is very friendly and one particular man was really informative on each dish and which spice level is best for you. Food came out and was full of flavor! Definitely worth the drive.”
“Eclectic but elegant setting with an excellent curated wine offering and one of the finest reserve lists anywhere. The charcuterie sections are also first class. A stylish and sophisticated night out.”
“If you like Sushi like I like Sushi this is the place with their AYCE menu. Laura is an amazing person to know, great energy. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable, I always enjoy going there. When you go tell them you read Don's review, thanks! Enjoy”
“Very good good food and nice service We really enjoyed dinner 🙏”
“So, I was not expecting to have a beer while perusing a nee bookstore this weekend, but lo and behold! I desperately needed to charge my dying phone, and couldn’t find an outlet anywhere in the book aisles. So I stumbled across The 1894, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. Their happy hour is awesome- a french pilsner for only $6! And the staff went out of their way to accommodate me near an outlet where i can drink and charge my phone. Again, was not expecting this pleasant bar, but will def be back!”

“Rodney's ribs are the Truth. I moved to Pasadena recently. I've had Q at Dreamland in Alabama, 12 Bones in North Carolina, Franklin's in Austin, Corky's in Memphis and Hecky's in Chicago, and this is some of the most righteously smoked meat I've ever had. Thank you, Rodney.”

“The Langham has a truly special location in the heart of the most beautiful portion of Pasadena so you cannot go wrong with having tea overlooking the grounds. The service was as anticipated and exceptional. One note is that they sat our party next to the harpist who was playing quite lovely Christmas music which would have been nice however it was so incredibly loud in my ear the entire time we had our tea, to the point our party had a very difficult time conversing. I think if they took out the center table next to the harpist it would bode well in the future. BEsides this one complaint I felt everything qwuite exceptional and as anticipated.”
“My friends and I we had a good experience while celebrating a dual birthday celebration for two of my friends.
