“First visit today and it won’t be our last!! It was fantastic!!!”
“We had to make a mad dash into the restaurant - got caught in a huge downpour. We were soaked & asked for a couple of napkins to dry off. There were cloth napkins on the empty tables. A lady came & brought us 2 pieces of thin paper towels. Our waiter upsold us an appetizer - we should've declined. Then he said we couldn't get separate checks. The food is delicious - same menu as Andaaz - our old fave which is no more. The customer service is lacking here. We were disappointed.”
“Food was absolutely delicious. Cheese plate a vegan cheese lovers dream. Amazing service by Vic! She paid close mind to the nut allergy at our table and was very attentive and kind. Highly recommend for vegans and non vegans alike! Save room for dessert!!!”
“Every single interaction we had at Limones was sincere, intentional, and well executed. We were greeted and given a place to wait in the lobby with an herbal seltzer. Our server Jamie was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and gave eloquent, robust descriptions of the food as well as his recommendations we requested. We shared the lardo pizza - you should too. This is cellophane thin pork fat rendered just so to melt into incredible cheese and oven fired crust. I would go back for more this second. Every part of our meal exuded that impeccable attention to detail. A ravioli type pasta with ham cornbread and peas was the perfect Appalachian/Italian pairing. The tiramisu was thick, custardy, eggy in the lightest but creamiest way. The pistachio gelato with pistachio syrup was incredible. My only wish would’ve been to try one more dessert but we did make a 9:30 reservation so you roll the dice. That panna cotta sounded wonderful. I could not imagine anyone being less than thoroughly impressed with Limones. My husband was a chef for 20+ years and felt every aspect of a great meal was part of our meal there. 10/10 Limones.”
“If a magical surprise was a place, it would be Neng Jr.’s in Asheville! We last minute called to see if we can get a reservation and were lucky enough to get a canceled reservation spot (this place is usually all booked up for a reason)
So many fun, tasty plates to chose from, cannot wait to be back in fall to see what the season brings to the kitchen 💖”

“I have been to Little D's several times since they opened, and every time they exceed the previous meal. they are creative, perfectly presented, and amazingly delicious!”
“Wonderful experience at Tall John’s last night! We stopped in for appetizers and drinks. Everything was amazing! We had the special appetizer and mussels. Excellent wine menu, great atmosphere and overall amazing experience! We will definitely be back for brunch or dinner too! Side note- where can I find the bathroom wallpaper to purchase? Very interesting! 😊”

“Don’t let the little small exterior fool you ! This place comes with a great menu, fabulous food and a wonderfully attentive staff .Love this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😋”
“This is likely our favorite brewery in Asheville! We have a wonderful experience every time we visit which is unfortunately every few years, but always worth the wait. We stopped in last Monday afternoon and were welcomed immediately, the bartender from Denver who I unfortunately didn’t get his name was one of the nicest people we’ve met in a long time. We stayed longer than anticipated because we were having such an enjoyable time with great beers! Their tap list ranges from basic lagers to breakfast porters and many things in between. They have some beer options to go in this location, for merchandise we went next door to the main Green Man brewery. You can’t beat the vibe here at Dirty Jacks though, can’t wait until we can visit again!”
“Great place with a great welcoming staff.”
“my friends and I visited Monday after the herb festival and had the best food of our whole trip at Chestnut! they had the Eggs Benedict and I chose the burger gluten free. all our meals were amazing and the care our waitress put into asking about my gluten issues was so appreciated! I do believe it was the best gluten free burger fries and cheese tots I have eaten ever! Thank you so much for taking the time and going the extra mile for those of us with Celiac. Crystal ( I hope that's right, my mind is old lol)was truly awesome and everyone needs to experience this place and her! 500 stars!!”
“It was a great time definitely recommend if you’re on vacation or simply hanging with family/friends 10/10”

“This is one of our favorite spots in Asheville! We highly recommend and they also have an awesome market where you can purchase a yummy Curate Salsa de Aperitivo, spices that you can use to cook with at home, ham sandwiches to go, and so much other delicious flavors from Spain. You guys are awesome! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Stopped in while visiting Asheville and it’s such a cool place. Great atmosphere and even greater treats. I had the gluten free chocolate cake and it was fantastic. So let’s text and so rich I had to take my time eating it. My husband got a shaved ice that was like nothing we’d ever had before., so refreshing and fun.”

“We have visited once for dinner and once for breakfast and I have a tough time putting down my utensils. Dinner with 4 had tartar and mussels and calamari apps and all were perfect. I had the Gemelli pasta dish (gluten sensitive) and enjoyed the flavors. For breakfast I had the Benedict Hash. My mouth wants to marry that sauce. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, the sauce is bold with lemon and paprika and oh so delicious.”
“Asheville is back! Just 6 months after the devastating Hurricane Helene winds, raging floods and overall nightmare, the city is ready for visitors! Yes, cleanup continues, and rebuilding the River Arts district and riverside parks will most likely take years, but so much is open, alive, and ready for tourism. Particularly nice is the Flat Iron Hotel, with suites in a creatively renovated office building in downtown. It's rooftop cafe has nearly 360° views of the entire city.”
“Fantastic meal last night at Jargon! The ginger carrot 🥕 soup was incredible. We paired it with Asparagus and risotto. The strawberry dessert was amazing and the after dinner drinks with espresso beans were perfection.”
“We chose Posana, where we had eaten before, based on past experiences and the gluten free menu. It involved a birthday, but we try to lowkey those, especially as we get older. Our server, Allie, and her trainee went the extra mile to give excellent service and make us feel very welcome. There were several other dietary restrictions which were easily accommodated. The kale salad and both entrees were quite good. There was even a dessert that was tweaked a bit so I could enjoy it which is usually not true in most restaurants. We were in the front part of the dining room which was somewhat quieter, but it was a Saturday night so there was a full house and the noise that comes with it. They did acknowledge the occasion with a card signed by the employees ( fun to imagine them lined up to do that). We had not been to Posana much this year as we are a bit last minute, so reservations (necessary during tourist season) were a problem. However, we plan to return in the near future. I would strongly recommend it which I don't do often.”

“Our first time eating at the rooftop restaurant and we are so glad we did. We had pizza-Margarita and the Meatball ricotta. Both delicious. Some shared the chicken wings and crass salad, both very good! Kyndall was our server and she was very attentive and friendly. Also had Affogato for dessert and it was so delicious. Would recommend for anyone.”
“Recommended by Scott at Weinhaus/Asheville- and we loved it! The entire staff was so gracious and attentive. The moule frites and steak frites were perfectly cooked and predented correctly. We cannot compare this to a better one, because we haven't found better than this. I loved watching the pétanque league play. We'll share our lucky find with our friends; when we move here later this year this place is our top destination.”
“We had a great time at Table. The staff was attentive and kind. The oysters were perfect. Sometimes oysters aren’t cleaned properly but these were and the taste was spot on with the mignonette. They had wonderful recommendations like the dark chocolate sorbet which was fantastic and made in house. Quiet place for a casual dining experience.”

“This was hands down one of the best breakfast spots we tried during our weekend getaway to Asheville. My boyfriend and I both got a bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit which was out of this world!! Reminded us of authentic southern homemade cooking, something hard to come by with many chain or franchise restaurants. Highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try!”
“addie loves ashville cantina Louie's. great food and the best waitress Bre.”

“We stopped into Waffle House on our way out of town. Everyone was waiting patiently to be seated or order take out. During a time where we had no water, electricity or communication seeing their smiles and quick service allowed for us to have a nice meal. Nina was kind, positive and made sure we had everything we could possible need. Her nephew was hard at work making the hash browns. It made our day and we will always remember this.”
“This is by-far the BEST Waffle House I have ever visited. The server, Marq, was so wonderful, and he definitely needs a raise!! The food was excellent, and all the staff were so friendly and kind. The restaurant was clean, and all precautions, per the pandemic, were being taken for the safety of customers and employees. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone desiring a clean, family- friendly dining experience!!!”

“Absolutely terrific. My wife and I come from Long Island, so we know our seafood. The mussels were amazing, a meal in themselves. My wife loved her octopus. I had fish and chips better than what I had in England. Friendly staff, great service. 10/10!”

“Visited on my most recent trip to Asheville and was probably one of the best meals on the trip. We got a variety of different arepas(including a vegetarian), yucca fries and corn fritters. The yucca fries were by far my favorite of the sides, the vegetarian arepa was delicious but would have been a little elevated by a crunchy element. My sister got the Ropa Vieja and thought it was delish but would have liked a fresh element to top the dish like cabbage. The Pernil arepa was also a favorite but a little more sauce on the top would have put the dish over the top!
Overall, definitely worth a trip but don’t be surprised if you have to wait a couple minutes for a seat as there is limited seating inside. Service was great and they were very attentive.”
“We have lived in Asheville for about 15 years and have been eating Suzy’s food since there was only a food truck. It’s nourishing, delicious, and always filling, not to mention very fairly priced! The ownership and staff are amazing and have always been welcoming to myself and all of my diverse groups of friends and family. We love Gypsy Queen!”
“Five Points is on point! Bathrooms were nice and clean, staff was polite and attentive, & the food was really tasty, with generous portions! I highly recommend if you’re in the Montfort area of Asheville that you bring your appetite and enjoy a meal here. Will definitely be back for more! 🍽️ 😋”
“Fantastic lamb Frankie. I usually shy away from Indian food but this was great. Flavors were outstanding and the wrap was nice and soft. 5 stars”
“Great place to get lots of authentic Asian treats and ingredients 💖”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“The atmosphere and drinks were amazing! However we arrived around 5 o’clock and were told no coffee after 4pm - but they had coffee for cocktails. It was upsetting for our designated driver who was looking forward to enjoying a coffee while we had cocktails. Hoping this rule will change so we can enjoy a responsible night out in the future!”
“We had a lovely visit here last evening while briefly in the area. They are doing alright after the terrible hurricane thankfully!!!!! Over the years this has been our favorite go to spot and yesterday was no different. Food very tasty, plentiful, feel is a positive price point. I personally can be a bit picky about barbecue, I really don’t care for excessive fat in my meat and I find the brisket is perfectly lean!! 2 employees who are new to us as we haven’t been back in two years, Ian and Sheryl were very pleasant, smiles on their faces, communicative, and remained diligent in providing great service. They have had some updates on their menu, not as many side choice selections but the ones we all chose were most appetizing! I do miss the pineapple casserole side and was told its available on the menu in the fall. Spouse also feels their beer selection is great. They were all out of the popular homemade banana and wafer pudding, but just gives us something to look forward to during our next visit as we will absolutely continue to eat here. Positive all around! Tasty, clean, and lovely folks all working inside thank you thank you!”
“I wanted to stop and get a cookie there for ages, today finally made the hubby get out of the car and go in while I circle the block to pick him back up. They are the best ….got two to share…. an oatmeal raisin and a peanut butter, half dipped in thick chocolate. Scrumptious.!”
“Second time to Asheville and we made it a must to stop in on our short night stay since last visit was 20' w C19. Though we just left TLT and ate a ton we still ordered FGT and a pie despite being beyond full cause we wanted to try it again. 10/10 for food and staff, so glad we walked down.”
“Our choices for Asian cuisine in WNC are very limited. Fortunately, P.F. Changs is only 25 minutes away, with an interesting menu that (tonight) was fresh and delicious. Crab Wonton is our go-to appetizer, but we also enjoyed the BBQ spare ribs. Kung Pao chicken and pepper steak were our entrees. They also had a delicious and smoky Asian Old Fashioned cocktail, which we recommend.”
“They exceeded my expectations! Held my daughters college graduation celebration dinner party of 20. Their meats were done to perfection. The staff were gracious we were all completely satisfied! I highly recommend.”
“We have been eating here for over a decade. Came back for the first time post-Helene, and it was such a welcoming, comforting experience!! I had the special which was INCREDIBLE. We brought a Vegetarian Platter home and had it later for dinner- delicious.”
“Went 11/16, the day after they re-opened following the ongoing devastation to Asheville and the region. We sat at the counter and enjoyed watching chef Ashleigh prepare our food.
GHF Sando was solid. It's stacked comically high, so don't be shy about smashing it with your palm for a manageable eating experience. I thought the white bread would be inferior to a bun, but it worked out well. I wish I'd asked for more sauce and pickles.
The special Smoked Trout Salad sando had an amazing contrast of flavors and textures: sweet and salty, smokey and briney, (fried then chilled?) trout skin and just a touch of two types of tiny popping fish roe. I was surprised I enjoyed it more than the GHF (catfish), but I can say I thorughly enjoyed both because I ONLY ate half of each. A full sando of either would've been a bit much toward the finish.
Sides were ok. The kitchen pepper carrots were a bit subtle for me. The potato chips were tasty but my portion was slightly darker/burnt than the others I saw coming from the fryer. Hush puppies were straight-forward and their briney spiced mayo sauce was fun.
We had the Our South saison, chef Ashleigh's collab with Burial Beer. Although it wasn't particularly remarkable in and of itself, it was a great compliment to the food and a memorable part of the overall experience.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible. Metal staircase only. All (limited) seating at counter-height.”
Fine Dining
“Absolutely amazing!! Lindsey was very communicative and answered all of our questions well. She was very easy to talk with and the end result was beautiful. I highly recommend if you want a cake both nice looking and DELICIOUS! We got a small cake and a bunch of different mini desserts and all were delightfully tasty. Could not believe how perfect everything was. Getting the trifles let us get a ton of different flavors as well.”
“Wow!! What an experience this was...this was a special meal for me and my husband (newly married the day before our dinner) and we were treated just as special! The food was outstanding, the view can't be beat and the service was outstanding! I highly, highly recommend Sunset Terrace for a special occasion or even just for a lovely meal. We will make a reservation on our next visit to the Grove Park Inn!”
“John F has single handedly saved my first experience at the GPI. My 2 kids and I have traveled across country from Wisconsin to Chapel Hill after packing up my childhood home for a month after my parents passed away. I was exhausted after a 9 hour drive to Asheville and decided to book a room here as a special treat. When we arrived it rained and despite accepting the pouring rain we didn't get any sympathy or help except for John who listened to me rant and bought me a glass of wine. Bottom Line - Thank You John”

“just visiting AVL but I had to leave a review! everyone working here was so kind and happy to be there. they appeared to be out of blueberry crumble cake but were somehow able to find one more piece for me. our lattes were delicious and my boyfriend enjoyed the absolute heck out of his bacon egg and cheese biscuit even complimenting how the bacon was cooked. the biscuit was warm and our lattes were hot! we will definitely be back next time we’re in town”
“Delicious veg food (including sweets), great helpful staff and cool stickers. Highly recommended!!!”
“Absolutely phenomenal! Tortilleria Molina has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. I’ve tried both the chicken and steak tacos, as well as the steak and pork burritos — and every single bite has been nothing short of amazing. The flavors are rich and authentic, the meat is always perfectly cooked, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. You can tell they put real heart into their food. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for dinner, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend!”
“Great vibe, music, bartenders, and beer!”
“Mi familia y yo fuimos hoy por primera vez y tuvimos una excelente experiencia.Probamos la orden de quesa birria con arroz y frijoles charros,un burrito,el cheesecake de dulce de leche y unas ricas horchatas.Todo muy delicioso.Nos encanto el servicio al cliente y la amabilidad.Un ambiente muy cálido y familiar”
“my favorite is the Rebel and I love the homemade punch. we drive from Al. at least 4 times a year just so I can eat here. The flavors just pop in your mouth. Coming today for July 4th. I wish they would come to Birmingham, Al. Love love Nine Mile.”
“I’m blessed to live within walking distance of this gem. If you appreciate a variety of well made beers that may entice you to try something different. Located on Haywood Rd. Across from The Odd, sit outside and enjoy your beer on another Glorious Day in Asheville. Share & Enjoy.🙏🍺🇺🇸”
“Was so happy we stopped in this time cause we couldn't get in 2020. Service top in class and Jordan was amazing behind the bar. We decided to do the trick tower seafood tower and well worth the money despite other reviews on it. Never thought I would go the the mans and order seafood but it was like we were on the coast. We can not wait to go back and enjoy more of the menu. Great atmosphere and like I said staff was amazing. 🥰”
“Enjoyed dinner on my bachelorette party at Bargello. The service was incredible. Tyler was incredibly friendly and gracious with our large group. I also enjoyed a surprise complimentary glass of champagne!”
“Never disappoints, always consistent service with amazing food. Our favorite Asheville restaurant.”
“Great food and good atmosphere. I give the food 4/5 stars because the food was spectacular but the portions were a little small.
Pictured is the lamb sausage, espresso martini, picnic in pink, and traditional old fashioned”
“Incredible food, drinks, and views! Definitely make a reservation and catch the sunset. 10/10 experience.”
“I kept wondering if Mrs Craig Vanessa was really an expert trader like they say, that she is not a scammer like the others, then I contacted her and I was shocked and amazed that with just $1,500 I invested, Mrs. Craig Vanessa helped me managed my account and after 7 Days of trading, I made my first withdrawal of $16,700. I'm here to testify the good work of her after she made a good profit for me in my investment. She's reachable via WhatsApp with the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa”
“This restaurant can be a fancy night out, dinner with friends or casual meal. Outstanding presentation and service, Matthew G and Megan were so good to us. Amazing flavors and beautiful space, you must add to your list!”

“Had dinner with a group of friends. We all enjoyed our meals. Tuna nachos, pork belly and wings were very tasty to start the meal. The main dishes we had included the brick chicken, shrimp and grits and smash burger. We cleaned our plates…great flavors and taste! We would DEFINITELY go back!”
“If you haven't been to Gauchinho Brazilian Steakhouse, you are seriously missing out. We had brunch there this afternoon, and everything was so delicious 😋. From the wide assortment of items at the hot-cold bar to all of the perfectly cooked and delicious variety of different meats (picanha, bacon wrapped filet, parmesan pork, pork ribs, bacon wrapped chicken, grilled pineapple, etc.), we thoroughly enjoyed everything and can't wait to dine there again ❤️. They also offer a wide assortment of amazing desserts. We've dined at both Brazilian steakhouses in Asheville and prefer Gauchinho's on every level (food, atmosphere, service, location). Highly, highly recommend this fine dining establishment.”
“Super cool, unique brewery. Take a walk down an alley and enter through a barrel shaped entry, down a few sets of stairs and then through a door and enter into a speakeasy. Space is cozy and dark, beer and service are very good.”
“Twisted Laurel was a perfect fit for our day trip to Asheville. The food was delicious. The service is fantastic. Thanks, Josh!”
“This place was AWESOME! The food was great, the service was phenomenal- and we had a party of probably 40/50 people! Would definitely return!”
“We had absolutely wonderful service & delicious cocktails during our visit in Asheville. Meticulously crafted cocktails by a very knowledgeable mixologist (can’t remember his name). We will definitely be back next time we’re in town.”
“It was a chilly, cloud-covered evening. The hostess provided me with a blanket so that I could be warm and comfortable for my dining experience. Everyone and everything was exceptional - from my server Cody's attentiveness (being a sole diner) to the epicurean delight of the meal and its unique, local accompaniments to the serene view of the rain-kissed Blue Ridge Mountains. While the clouds hid the sunset, the views were beautiful nonetheless. If you're planning a trip to Asheville, I highly recommend making advanced reservations at the Sunset Terrace!”
“Happy hour: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm M - F
If you love beer or cocktails and you need an early dinner, this is a great happy hour. You can get a huge chicken sandwich that tastes high quality for $9 or a delicious burger for $12. Drinks range from $3 - $10. They have plenty of cocktail and beer options during the happy hour as well. The only thing I wish they did was a red and white house wine with the happy hour menu as well. Other than that this is perfect for people who want a fancy delicious experience without the high price tag.
The happy hour definitely made me want to come back for the full dinner menu! I will 100000% be back.”
“Strada Italiano really impressed me. It has an inviting, upscale vibe that’s perfect for a night out. The vegan food was delicious—creative, flavorful, and satisfying. The ravioli especially was so good, easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. Their drink menu is excellent too, with options that pair perfectly with the meal. Highly recommend for a night out with amazing food and a cozy atmosphere!”
“Amazing food. Best Italian food i have eaten. In a long time. They have indoors and indoors seating, plus a small bar with some stools. My wife and I had the chicken marsala and picatta, respectively, and both were amazing with yummy mash and broccoli. Definitely recommend this place.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“1st time visitor.........Food was delicious; service was engaging and professional; ambiance was casual and comfortable....Would highly recommend, and look forward to returning.”
“Food was very good. I just have too say they charged us a $4.65 kitchen fee. Well I wasn’t having it. When the manager came over he said it’s optional. If it is they should have disclosed that information before they put it on my bill. I think it’s wrong. Never heard of such a fee.

“The food was terrific. As an amateur pianist, I enjoy the soft music that complimented the environment. Inside and out (light rain tonight). Beautiful atmosphere and people.”
“I am a foodie/food-snob. I admit it. I am so often disappointed by my restaurant experiences. Last night, my partner and i had one of the best meals in Asheville we can remember. Bold, sensual, well-balanced dishes (somewhere in the neighborhood Charleston's Xiao Bar Biscuit). Off the hook (if a little pricey) wine list.”

“This review will be glowing and for a good reason!
I have no idea why this isn’t in our regular rotation of restaurants. We’ve been living here a couple of decades and I have a radio show down the street on 103.3FM, and we go to all the restaurants around this restaurant, but we just never seemed to go here that much. That will certainly change, because everything was delicious!
I started with a dozen oysters which quickly turned into two dozen oysters. Nice and big, served the typical southern way with horseradish and saltine crackers and cocktail sauce. None of the fancy oddness that comes with some other types of oysters. Just good classic stuff!
Speaking of classic, my husband got the oyster po’ boy and loved it. At first he asked for extra remoulade, and the server forgot it, but by the time she got back, he let her know he really didn’t need it. It’s rare that this sandwich is so well flavored that it does not need extra remoulade. I thought it was just perfect.
I had the étouffée. I love a good étouffée. I want to to have just the right amount of spice and just the right amount of crawfish. Although, I could eat pounds of crawfish, and it would never be enough. The sausages were excellent it had enough crawfish. The flavoring was really good. I could have done with another helping of rice, but that was just because I wanted to soak up all the extra sauce.
We did not have dessert, because we had been baking cookies for weeks at home, and so we had tons left over.
For drinks we had the rotating gingers revenge, which we often have, and we often frequent their taproom as well. And I had a really nice half pour of beer to go with my oysters and a nice house Red to go with my étouffée.
Server was excellent without being intrusive.
My only complaint is that it was a little chilly. But with a big glass window, I suppose that could not be avoided. If I had one suggestion it would be to turn up the heat a little bit in the winter time!
We will be back. I’m craving the étouffée already.
Parking: It’s a west Asheville miracle! They have a parking lot in the back.
Kid-friendliness: Totally fine for kids. We saw a couple of kids while we were there.”
“Great place to relax, watch a game or enjoy music and smoke a cigar! Very nice place.”
“My girlfriend and I were in town to celebrate our one year. We decided to try out Tupelo Honey. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was amazing. It has a great atmosphere with an outdoor seating option with a view of downtown. If you’re ever in Asheville I HIGHLY recommend you giving Tupelo Honey a chance!”
“This was our second time having lunch at Cedric's — and once again, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. My wife had the Shepherd's Pie, and I went with a salad. Everything was spot on. We'll definitely be back!”
“I didn't think a pizza could ever bring me to tears, but I was wrong. I was visiting Asheville with my husband, 3-year-old, and 5-month-old when Hurricane Helene hit. That Friday night, when communications and water had been cut off, we didn't know the extent of devastation that area experienced. I went out to find some food for my family and saw some people inside Mission Pizza. I caught them as they were walking out and asked if they were open (again, communications were out, so at the time I didn't realize that I was asking a ridiculous question). The owner was about to drive away as I was talking to some of the employees and he overheard me say I was visiting. He gave me the pizza that he was taking to a friends house. I refused, but he insisted that I take it for my family. It was such a kind gesture on such a hard day that turned into an even harder weekend as the situation worsened. My thoughts, prayers, and donations are all being sent to the people of WNC! And thank you so much to the wonderful soul who fed my family that night. I will never forget the kindness he showed me.”
“Our dinner was great and our server Daniel was the best!! very attentive and funny and easy to talk to. made our evening really!! the view was great as well. buffett was so large and tasty.”

“I hadn’t had 비빔밥 since 1985 in Korea. It was even better than I remembered. Everything was delicious and we will be back soon!”
“Great beer selection and I really like how the Whale logo is incorporated into the space and merchandise.”
“Really chill, fun bar. You can always meet some great people here. They also have pool tables and weekly events like Drag Kareoke. Awesome vibes and the Bartenders are top notch.”
“Man, this place is awesome. The service? Top-tier—super friendly and on point. And the food? So good! I was psyched that they could make their crab cakes gluten-free, and honestly, they were insane. Crispy, flavorful, just straight-up delicious. Now, the BBQ pork flatbread? Total game changer. Smoky, a little sweet, a little tangy, with the perfect crunch. Just the kind of thing you wanna keep going back for.”
“Love Rabbit Rabbit! Thanks so much for bringing great live music to NC/Upstate SC!!!”
“delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and the most AMAZING tequilas and mezcals I've ever seen in one place! thank you for your hospitality during the snow, we enjoyed ourselves so much!”
“Had our band there on tour for a Thursday night and treated us great. Very open communication, up front, fair, and had a great sound guy to boot. highly recommend.”
“Eat here about 3 times a week! A not so hidden gem in downtown Asheville that has an awesome story and amazing food and brews! If you are interested in the brewing industry, White Labs is a must see/must visit! They also have free parking! I hear their HR person is pretty awesome too 😜.”
“Best bar in Asheville. Service is incredible and fair prices. A wonderful selection of drinks and a nice place to people watch.”
“Great view of smokie/Appalachian mountains. Came for appetizers and drinks before dinner in the main dining room. Great relaxing setting. Also got to see a wedding on the lawn below the terrace, with the mountains in the background. What a lovely romantic touch to the start of an evening.”
“We love this place. One of the best steaks in town. Sides are amazing and don’t even get me started on deserts. Staff is wonderful and sweet. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.”
“Fantastic!! Waiter was Cassidy he was very nice and welcoming with great knowledge of the menu, this was our first time there and was so relieved to find a great noodle stop as we have tried others and were highly disappointed but not here. We got the dynamite shrimp , so creamy and just a hint of heat, we got the kids ramen so next extra stuff just the noodles and broth and those had great flavor they approved!! I got the deluxe ramen with the black garlic oil and pork belly so bold and smooth, and we got the spicy ramen which had a great heat level and my husband loved. Over all great food worth the price which wasn’t super high , nice environment with great music choice would highly recommend!!!! Thanks again Cassidy”
“The food and cocktails were excellent and our waitress, Kelsey, was very friendly, informed, and attentive. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back.”
“There was a wonderful variety of items to choose from, it was difficult to decide. We would have gotten the jalapeño fries and cauliflower tacos but their main frier wasn’t working so we got the chorizo tacos, coconut curry and sweet potato Ruben which came with crispy homemade fries (they have a small frier that was working). We don’t enjoy vegan cheese that is made using Science so we opted for the cashew queso which was absolutely delicious. The tacos were our favorite item. The texture and taste were a solid 10 out of ten. Which made me miss trying the cauliflower tacos even more. The Ruben was our 2nd favorite. I usually have tempeh meat on a Ruben so I couldn’t imagine how they could make sweet potato taste “meaty” but they did. It was so delicious, I will be looking up how to make that “sweet potato meat” at home. The Thai Panang Curry was the only disappointment. It was fresh tasting and the tofu was fried to crispy perfection. It just needed more sauce. I got the Blackberry Ginger Mint mocktail. It was just the right amount of sour and was a beautiful presentation. Our only regret was not leaving room for dessert. If we lived in Asheville we would be regulars at this establishment. Our server was also Excellent! She was attentive without being intrusive. She pre-bussed the table and refilled our water glasses and asked if we needed another round and brought us our food perfectly timed! We went back the next day and had the Tostada Enchilada salad (it’s the choriso taco grown up), the Supreme pizza with no cheese (nice crispy crust and a good amount of sauce), the Amaretto Cherry Cheesecake (absolutely worth going back just for that!) the peanut butter cookie (the only disappointment) and the Lime Aid (perfecly balanced and not too sweet). But I preferred the one yesterday. Another wonderful server. Love this place! Updated from previous review on 2025-03-02”

“A stop at Walls Wine Bar while in downtown Asheville is a must! You can enjoy a taste, a glass or a bottle of some exceptional international wines. Walk through the gallery to take in the amazing photography of Benjamin Walls on safari or step outside and relax in the open air patio while people watching. While you are there, learn about once in a lifetime travel opportunities; the stuff dreams are made of!”

“What an awesome early dinner! We had drinks, which I could have drank so many of them! We had the 6 pc wings and no doubt the best wings I've ever had. Then the real prize...my boneless ribeye! Melt in your mouth delicious!! My date had the 6pcs. Of fried oysters with fries and slaw, everything was so wonderful and our service was on point!”
“Five Points is on point! Bathrooms were nice and clean, staff was polite and attentive, & the food was really tasty, with generous portions! I highly recommend if you’re in the Montfort area of Asheville that you bring your appetite and enjoy a meal here. Will definitely be back for more! 🍽️ 😋”
“Server was an older woman who was down right rude. She brought our food and I reminded her of my biscuit. She snapped at me that I hadn't ordered one- even though we had had a discussion about flavor of jelly- to which she replied "whatever". As she marched away I said to my daughter that I guess she didn't want her tip. She did bring the biscuit and did try to be overly nice, which felt very insincere., almost sarcastic. She had ruined our little celebration brunch with her absolutely awful attitude. I used to love this place.”
“I requested a 2 night stay in my Harvest Host / Boondockers app. I got a quick approval in mins. The brewery was easy to get to, had lots of parking & there was a small local band playing when I arrived. Sky was my very friendly bartender. I asked for a beer suggestion than was on the lighter side. He suggested the Cowboy Poet. He was spot on. I also ordered food from the pizza place. Was really delicious. I got to see Sky on my second night also. I would definitely revisit. The information & description of what to expect were exact. Thank you for sharing your business with the camping community.”
“We love our outings to Creekside - Georgia loves the chicken and fries and I had buffalo wings this time which I really enjoyed. I usually get the salad with smoked chicken and its my all time favorite. The staff are great and the atmosphere is cozy. So if you are looking for a great place to eat, with a good atmosphere and great eats - Creekside is my favorite place in East Asheville.”
“I like eating here. The service is very good and the food is plentiful and delicious. The atmosphere is friendly, and I have yet to wait for a table because there are so many. This restaurant is quiet but with music. There is full service bar that is very nice. A good place to meet a friend for drink where you can talk.”
“I am one of the organizers for a monthly network gathering group. We chose to go to DSSOLVR and VOWL for our event this month. We had approximately 200 folks there this past Tuesday (January 14, 2024). The staff nailed it at both bars. Serving 200 people at one time can be a challenge... the staff did not disappoint. It was an extremely welcoming evening from the start to the finish. The owners and management were awesome to work with and delivered everything that they promised and more. They provided a DJ for us (DJ Abu Dissarray), which made the evening even that much more fun. Many of the event-goers had not been to either of these bars, but I heard from many folks that they planned on going back due to the friendliness of the staff and the treatment that we received. A big THANK YOU to both DSSOLVR and VOWL. Your new friends at TakeOverTuesday (instagram: TakeOverTuesdaysAVL)”

“We were a party of 8...in the summer...around lunchtime...so it was crowded but we were seated quickly..had biscuits right away and our food came out quickly...portions were huge..(.I think the meatloaf slice was a pound of beef by itself.)..Staff were courteous and helpful with our wheelchair and walkers.food was reasonably priced... our only "negative" comment would be that some desserts ran out :( but everything else was great!”
“We dined here for lunch back-to-back days. Servers both days were very knowledgeable and friendly. They also shared some of the history of the restaurant. The booths are placed in the original horse stalls. The iron work, subway tile and brick floor are all original too. The second story is the old hay loft. My wife had the trout BLT both days. So good. I did the chicken salad Day 1 and hamburger Day 2. Both were excellent.”
“Reading some of the reviews here, I was a bit skeptical about the food and service quality before I entered. However, there was nothing to worry about. We had a very helpful and friendly host, maître d', and server. My partner's salmon was well cooked, my fried rice bowl was decent - though I wouldn't call it a fried rice because it was a mix of black rice and quinoa. The dessert was the heavily recommended mousse dome, and we did full justice to it.
But all this was made so much better just by the view! Try to get patio or window seats if possible. You can head out to the terrace later to enjoy the mountains and sunset.”
“Me and my wife are here at cornerstone restaurant today and the food was absolutely delicious again the spaghetti and the meatballs, the Snickers cheesecake and Claire our waitress. She was a diamond for sure. Great personality. Fast response brought our food out very quickly and everything was A+plus would like to give her a big shout out. Even if the food was bad ! We would come back because of her .”
“I heard about Biscuit Head about a month ago, through a Facebook ad. We were in Asheville to visit Biltmore after Christmas, and visited Biscuit Head on Biltmore Ave twice in two days! The whole staff was so friendly, and the vibe in the restaurant is so fun!! Everything we had both days was fantastic! I ordered the Mimosa fried chicken biscuit both days, and the biscuit donuts, as well! I had to keep apologizing to my family because I was making too many “yum” noises. My husband said the sausage gravy was the best he’s had in ever, and your coffee was great!! When we left yesterday, we genuinely intended to come back for Brunch #3, but the moods were not in our favor today. We look forward to coming back next time we are in Asheville!!”
