“Overall experience was great. Started off with the fried calamari as an appetizer which was to die for and good portion. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the ribeye. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted juicy and tender. We shared the asparagus and crab Mac and cheese for our sides. (Sides are portioned to be shareable). The sides were great as well. My only suggestion is providing clean plates for your sides since they are shareable. The steak comes on a plate covered in au jus which is delicious, but I didn't want to plate my mac n cheese on that plate and the bread plates were a little small. Not a big deal though! Service was great, ambiance was cozy. Highly recommend!”

“What a great find. Nice place, great energy. The service from hostess, bartender, waiter, and food runner was prompt, polite, and sincere. Food was excellent. The queso was flavorful, melty, and delicious paired with the lovely bread, and assortment of fruits. The empanadas were the obvious stars of the show - soft billowy outer shells that had a nice bite, filled with delicious stuffings. Dessert was great as well, opting for that sinful cookie bar with ice cream.”

My friend and I had dinner of garlic naan, samosa( nice dough +bit of heat), butter chicken, chicken & chickpea dish, wine, and dessert, and chai tea. We had take home. Our waiter was patient as we made choices, attentive, even remembering our divided bills details correctly. He brought extra rice for our to go. Show up here for clean place,pleasant soft music, and delicious food.”

“We ordered Saturday for the 1st time. My gyro was so delicious, the sauce was great and the portion was good. I did ordered an extra pita and extra meat so I could have lunch during the week. My husband had a cheeseburger with bacon, his only complaint was the bacon was soggy but he LOVED the burger and really loved the fries. it's very rare fries come delivered and are crispy!! Definately will be ordering again!”

“I received my first delivery today and all the salads looked great! I ate the Apple Pecan Chicken salad for lunch and all the food seemed fresh and tasted good. I was especially pleased with the spinach — nice and crunchy! The portion was ample; could have saved some for a snack later. The order was packaged well and all the salads were chilled, but not frozen. My only complaint was with the delivery driver, not FF. The driver didn’t knock or ring the doorbell to let me know that perishable food was on my porch (luckily, I happened to see it shortly after delivery).”

“I've been curious about this fresh food vending machine for a while now. I was in the airport where everything is more expensive and with smaller portions. I follow a plant based diet and have limited options at this airport. The screen told me to use the app to save money so I did. The app was extremely easy! I could see all the options with pictures and full descriptions like a menu. I ordered a salad along with a wrap because they looked small. I was wrong the salad was large! On the side of the machine you can take a bowl, napkins, and eating utensils. The screen is user friendly but I enjoyed the details in the app. In the end I got a coupon from using the app and found a discount code online that I also added to my order as well. Once i completed my purchase the app gave me a code that I put in on the vending machine and I then received my order. The food was extremely fresh my salad was cold and crisp! I was surprised at how much food was in the salad container. Each component was fresh and delicious. I was not expecting all this at an airport or from a vending machine. I will definitely seek out this vending machine in the future unfortunately they are not in my current area.

“This seems like it would be a good place for the locals to eat. I was taking there by my mother-in-law who is a long time native of milwaukee. I personally did not enjoy the service that much. The food was also a little bit bland for my taste. It seems like the selection was a little lacking. Other than that the place was located in a very nice area. That is why I gave five stars for the atmosphere. The inside was also nice. If you are looking for the best tasting food you can probably skip this place. If you are looking for a really good place to sit down with a really good ambiance than this would be a good place.”

We Always order the trios and duos, along with the 2 for $5 breakfast sandwiches.
It's all fresh, made to order, & orders are correct. Good management right now, for sure. Understandable & polite drive thru. The one manager is cool and staff deserves a raise.
Price is great!
P.s. we've had one bad experience where a worker got an attitude because He messed up our order. The sandwiches were 2 for $5 and because I didn't say that (according to him & was told to say what I mean smh) he charged me full price for each. Didn't go back for a few weeks due to that. But we work third and usually deal with one of the managers who is great . Not too many places are open 24 hrs that serve breakfast & dinner @ a reasonable price .”

Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.”

“Visiting from England there was only one brewery tour that we were definitely doing and it was the PBR one! The tour is really interesting, our guide at 12 on Friday the 16th of May (sorry I forgot your name) was awesome, was a knowledgeable machine when it came to PBR. Wonderful stories and plenty of beer, Jim the owner was a great guy too, not as great as his wife who managed to get the football (soccer) on tv so I could watch Aston Villa ✅ Absolutely awesome place, plenty of cool merch in the shop too.”

“Im going to need a bigger box! This place is perfect for game days! We went 3x this 2025 season. We go a little early to ensure parking. Pay $20 to park and they take $20 off yr food bill inside. We relax and enjoy for an hour or so then take their busses to amfam for drop off and pick up. Safe, fun, free (please tip yr driver!) Never had an easier time! So seamless, convenient, fun. The staff is great, the food is great bar food. If you need a ride and don't want all the walking, driving, parking hassles, take advantage of their offer. I will never go to a game again without going to KBs for my pregame fun! Oh and the pretzel...its deelish and I don't think im exaggerating if I say its bigger than a bread box!”

We made a reservation ahead of time online but it looked as if walk-ins would have been accommodated! Our waitress, Courtney, was absolutely AMAZING and made our whole experience even better. The vibe of the restaurant was on point and the food was beyond delicious! We got the skillet pimento cheese dip app, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and pecan pie for dessert. Everything was so good and we would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes good, comfort food! Definitely ask to sit in Courtney's section!”

“We had my birthday brunch at Oak Barrel and it couldn't have gone any smoother! They saved the day after another well-known MKE restaurant completely ghosted us just 2-weeks before the date. Communication with Mackenzie and booking could not have gone any better. We had the entire upstairs area to ourselves plus we were able to order off the actual brunch menu (which I LOVE). Our bartender, Danny, was amazing, attentive and provided excellent service to our guests. There were several other staff members helping out (I didn't get their names unfortunately) who were all amazing. This was the first time at Oak Barrel for a lot of our friends and family and they said they would definitely be back. Excellent food, great venue & spectacular service - they really made my birthday special.”

“Fun night with my sister and our youngests. ❤️❤️ This place is amazing. HIGHLY recommend. The food was outstanding, wine was incredible, but the service was unheard of. We ended up there because Onesto had a two and a half hour wait at 5pm. We half only walked into Tre Rivali to get out of the cold, but they immediately swept us away. Their dining room was full but they created an area for us that was just perfect. One of the hosts, who without hesitation set us up with a table that accommodated the kids and gave us that fine dining experience, he was just wonderful the entire night, like we were old friends and he was happy to see us. Our waitress was sweet as can be, really knew the menu and also treated us like we were her regulars. Then another man whose name I didn't get was offering to take family photos and even took my nephew back to watch his pizza get made. I've had many great meals throughout my travels and this was up there, but I'm not sure I've ever had an experience quite this memorable. ❤️”

Abdul and his family are so welcoming and their establishment is a great addition to the neighborhood. Upon entering the restaurant you'll be hypnotized by the aroma of the food being prepared. I highly reccomend the Chicken Tikka Masala, Baithak Platter, Nana and the exquisite dipping sauces. If you're ever in the area of South Howell Avenue and East Bolivar Avenue I encourage you to stop in and taste for yourself all the deliciousness Baithak of Punjab has to offer.”

“Stopped in Sunday morning to hang out and journal around 10 am and by the time I left at noon this place was thriving with groups and like minded solos working in a comfortable atmosphere. I ordered the hot latte with white chocolate and it was fantastic, served with nothing but smiles. I’m not someone who eats things that are on the sweet side but decided to indulge in the mini pancakes (crazy mix) and they were soooo good. I look forward to coming back. I also learned they are open late and as someone who doesn’t drink much I look forward to testing out the atmosphere in the evening sometime.”
