What impressed me most was that the kitchen customized my entrée on a busy Saturday night—something you rarely see, even at high-end restaurants. My best friend ordered the Frutti di Mare, and it was outstanding as well. The portion sizes were very generous, and we both left completely satisfied. What truly sets Safina apart is the ownership and service. Both owners came to our table multiple times throughout the evening to make sure everything was perfect. They were even helping bus tables and assisting the staff. That level of hands-on hospitality is something you simply don't see very often, even at many five-star restaurants. The food, service, atmosphere, and attention to detail were all top-notch. Safina has earned loyal customers in us, and we can't wait to come back! Bonus: Sal is awesome!!!!”

A couple fruited sours, a tasty and malty oktoberfest and a bunch of ales. Solid selections, if not remarkable, everything a solid B. Disclaimer, this is a brewery in the Wisconsinest city, there will likely be children, if not infants present. Of this'll twist your panties, you should avoid. Lots and lots of seating, though half of it is outside.”

“We were up in Milwaukee for the weekend for a baseball tournament and my family wanted Indian food for dinner. Wife did a research and found this place (Antique Indian Restaurant). It’s a “Dhaba style” restaurant with great food. My son had samosa (anppatizer) and we all had Lassi. Our main meals were… “Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Spicy Goat Curry and Goat Bryani”. Definitely, great food, good service and not as pricey as some of the other Indian restaurants. Would stop by again if we happen to be around the area. AG”

The hash browns (added onions) were some of the best I’ve ever had. Got an order of the French toast with Caramel and candied pecans and that was also very good. Heard they feed seniors for free on Wednesday so going to send my parents over there next week! Any place that treats seniors that was is worth patronizing. We’ll definitely be back!”

My husband had a cheeseburger with bacon, his only complaint was the bacon was soggy but he LOVED the burger and really loved the fries. it's very rare fries come delivered and are crispy!! It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.”

Onion rings were hot with a firm dense crust. My friend and I were almost in disbelief. Staff was incredibly polite. Clientele, (place was packed), were well-mannered. This classic drive-in has been around since 1942 and still serves incredibly rich, smooth, and creamy custard, along with delicious sundaes and floats. 🍨🥤 They also have burgers, hot dogs, and fries if you’re looking for something savory. 🍔🍟 The vintage atmosphere makes it feel like stepping back in time, which adds so much charm to the experience. Service was quick, friendly, and courteous. Definitely a memorable stop and a place I’d happily visit again! ❤🙌”

We were a few minutes early and sat for a few minutes at the bar with a really good jazz trio as background. The atmosphere of the place and the music were really fun. Ethan served us some cool cocktails and wowed us with his pour-skills and cocktail history. After drinks we were seated with a super knowledgeable and attentive server, Kayla. Her recommendations were spot-on and we enjoyed having her around wherever we needed anything. She was the best and made the evening very special. O yeah, and the food was fantastic. “we had a wonderful dining experience at High Stakes and it was outstanding and the food and drinks were excellent. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly, to the great bartenders and our server and her team were wonderful, never missing a beat or detail.. We tried a few different dishes and each one was delicious. My Ribeye was the best I ever had and my wife had the scrumptious Scallops. It has an amazing interior and lovely atmosphere. making us feel like we were in a NY supper club. Paul Bartolotta has given us another great Bartolotta restaurant and this may be their best yet.
We also loved that Paul made his way around the room, stopping at tables to talk and making guests feel welcome. It's such a nice touch.
This elevated dining experience reminds me of the old style of dining, which we have always enjoyed and missed here in Milw. What a great addition to the Milwaukee restaurant scene.
BTW, Make sure you leave room for dessert! We especially loved the chocolate tarte. We can't wait to return!”

But what really makes Broken Bat so special especially to the city of Milwaukee is they care about the people and the surrounding community. They aren’t here to just make another craft beer and take your dollar. If you’ve ever met the owner Tim you’ll understand what I’m saying. So… Whether you’re in the area or at a local store, grab a beer made by Broken Bat Brewing Company. You’re doing yourself a favor and supporting an establishment that deserves it. PS- if you’re a Marquette fan (or not) -> Find the beer “Ring Out Ahoya” and crack it open during Marquettes deep run this year”

My only disappointment was that they were out of all their merchandise and you can't order anything online. We are visiting from Central NY so it's not loke I can go back to get what I wanted. i would have easily spent over $100 o. merchandise alone. that being said, I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, meal that is a complete experience!”

“I had an issue yesterday, ordered an hour before and they ran out of what I ordered and suggested a refund, was unable to get refund due to the AI Slop popeyes support team but I came back today and who I assume is the manager a tall black buffed guy was able to help me out, got the kitchen to make my order for me and was very professional, deserves a raise because he asked his crew questions about the order and was able to get me my food! Top tier service, he definitely should get a raise or a promotion to a leader role if he already isn't in one!”

“We’ve gone twice in the last few days so hopefully I recount all the items we’ve tried so far and name them correctly lol. Biscuits and gravy! This is the best I’ve ever had. The biscuit was thick and hearty but not dry, and the gravy was absolutely the best I’ve tasted. Homemade comfort at its finest—rich and savory with a fantastic flavor. I look forward to the next time, and I just finished eating it. The almond matcha cookie—I’m not normally a matcha fan, but this cookie was intriguing. It started with a thin, crispy almost sugar cookie flavor outer layer at first, then the almond flavor shines through. Not overly sweet just a good thick, soft cookie. The butterscotch blondie— you can really taste the butter. It was the first sweet I tried here, and it immediately got me hooked. The Oreo blondie—my kid devoured it before I could even take a bite. The egg sandwich on sourdough with sausage was good. I added the homemade chili oil which I got on the side, as I’m sometimes a wimp with spice, but this chili oil is so flavorful I’d put it on everything. So if I order a cookie with a side of chili oil you just nevermind- I might need some of this to keep on hand. It adds a nice bite without overpowering the other flavors—just the right amount of heat. The fluffernutter cookie—what?!! yes, definitely try it! Obv Carrot cake bites -carrot cake yes frosting yes - I need more. Everything we’ve tasted so far has been excellent. You can tell it’s homemade, the flavors come through clearly, and it’s just comforting, delicious food. Can I add that the people working there have gone above and beyond and truly enjoy what they do and this place! They are the best food consultants :) they spent so much time with us explaining the items and it got me to try some things I might not have otherwise. Oh and the building itself - the space has a great warm friendly vibe.”
