The staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the rotating tap list featuring dozens of local craft beers and international favourites. I started with the kung pao lettuce wraps and soft pretzel with beer cheese dip… both were delicious and perfect for sharing. For mains the ahi tuna poke bowl and crispy chicken sandwich were fresh and flavourful. Their seasonal cocktails and beer flights are also worth trying. The rooftop patio offers a wonderful view of downtown and the atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends or colleagues. With attentive service, a diverse menu and a fantastic selection of drinks, CRAFT Beer Market never disappoints.”

I’ve never made calamari so I don’t know if it’s hard to get it right as I’ve had really tough and rubbery calamari. Sabor’s was exquisite and perfectly done. It was the best meal we’ve had. The staff were friendly, and professional. Our waiter was outstanding, very attentive and certainly competent. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! Treat yourself and go.”

“I accidentally forgot my pouch with wallet in it. It was only three hour later that I realized I had lost my wallet. I went to A and W and they had my pouch in safe keeping. I was so happy to get it back . Very honest people who declined to accept my cash reward . The manager told me that they were happy for me and all they want was our patronage and support from us. Thanks to the A and W establishment on Currents drive for their honesty and integrity”

“The first thing I will say is that we had some trouble finding this automated pizzaria. We wandered around the first (ground) level of Heart of the Robbins building for thirty minutes eliciting several side-glances from young students. This automated pizzaria is NOT in the cafeteria. Go upstairs one level and you will see the machine. (Its about the size of a single wide mobile home). Additionally, the pizzeria is operational 24/7 so don't be dismayed by opening and closing hours of various macewan food vendors.Just some back story on PizzaForno; the machine doesn't actually create the pizza, they are made off-site and stocked in the morning, never frozen. The machine (from an unnamed French manufacturer) puts your selection into a high tech convection oven and blasts hot air on it for 3 minutes before boxing and projecting it like your old copy of Independence Day.Once you find PizzaForno get ready for the most thrilling and satisifying food ordering experience ever. A large touch screen prompts you to choose a type of pizza, typically there are approximately 6 options. My dining companion chose pepperoni, which was half price due to national pepperoni pizza day! The "hamburger" pizza seems like a hit with the locals, since it was sold out. With the half price discount their pizza was only $6.00. I paid a little more for my vegetarian pizza, however it was unsurprisingly worse than the pepperoni. It looked like someone shot the toppings on it with a vegetable shotgun, blasted into in a cluster near the centre of the pizza. The moisture of the vegetables was great enough that it prevented the high quality mozzarella from reaching it's chewy browned potential. Even though their recipes need honing, I didn't dock a star since the quality was obviously still high and the pepperoni pizza was hard to slight; chewy flavorful crust and perfectly cooked throughout.My dining companion and I enjoyed our delicious pizza's in the comfortable seating area next to the pizzeria whilst wondering playfully about the future of food service, and the possibilities of stocking your fridge at home with precooked PizzaForno's (an option if you want to cook it at home and relax on the couch with your feet up) and even the potential of putting a PizzaForno in a park (borden park?). While we embraced the revelations of this emancipatory technology, we watched students bustling about campus. Even if we don't see it on this earth, perhaps one day somewhere there will be an automated post-scarcity economy where beings will be free to eat pizza and fully persue their creative potential.”

“I was waiting in the parking lot and seen the sign for Rockin Robyns so I decided to take a look at their menu. I can't believe how many options there were! I had a very hard timing choosing, but ended up ordering the perogies for pickup. The staff were so lovely and it came in a bag with a little packet of utensils, salt/pepper and napkin all in one. Once I got back to work I couldn't wait to dive in. Best perogies I've ever had! The bacon was still crunchy, and the spicy sauce they put on is brilliant! (It wasn't too spicy-just enough). Definitely will recommend to others and coming back again.”

“You will have to admit, you're getting a great mix of Egyptian and Greek flavors here. Deserves the lengthy review. I believe the owners are a family, in operation for about 2 years and you can really tell from their warm conversations that love goes into the food. The attention is not just a great service experience but a natural feeling of the intention they pour into what is hard work and quality food. Don’t know if it’s fair to say “service” or “atmosphere” or if it should just be called “the passion” expressing itself but you feel the hard work and enjoy the food more. The atmosphere was beyond any expectations as a result. Overall, the experience feels very genuine, making this my favorite place to eat in Edmonton right now. I am compelled by my first time here to highly recommend Pharaohs Restaurant—it’s a must-try.

The menu is small but well-chosen, all of what you would expect and want to eat in the genre of three cuisines, so everything is made just right. We ordered the platter for 2-3 people, but honestly, it’s enough for three. They did warn us and explained everything clearly, that you’ll want to save room for dessert. We were too full to enjoy dessert properly because each dish was so good—you’ll want to savor each one! Still, that just means you'll have to come back and try more and fit dessert. The Italian is woven in and fantastic! It’s a true fusion that stays true to its roots, without sacrificing authenticity. I’ve had good Greek food and homemade Egyptian dishes before, but I didn’t expect them to blend together so seamlessly. This is not Michelin Star but not your everyday home cooking either.

I know I have hyped it up and I clearly enjoyed it but it deserves this level of extended review even just for the next aspect I want to highlight. The cozy, authentic vibe is hard to find after the pandemic changed how many restaurants operate, but this one really stands out as what I only now innately remember was an excellent dine in experience pre-pandemic. Almost would not mind being stuck anymore on Gateway and Calgary Trail knowing I can just eat dinner here! The options in this part of town have not disappointed and many deserve a visit - but this one most of all.

The authentic Ethiopian injera moist flat bread which is scrumptious and should be used to scoop your food will leave you wanting to order again.

Pavbhaji is also pretty good however vadapav wasn't even vaguely good. Both pavbhaji and vadapav had a strong garam masala taste which isn't expected. In particular vadapav had way too much masala that shouldn't even be there.
Highly recommended for all things south Indian.”

There was too much in this order for me to eat in one sitting. The owner approached me and we had a nice chat about food of course , very very nice lady! I’m excited to return and try the other offerings on her menu … this is a great place to eat. The only downside was that there were a few flys buzzing around me and my food and I just find that very annoying but I do understand it’s sometimes difficult to prevent.
And , no fault of the restaurant but other patrons blaring out loud their cel phones behind me watching “ You Tube Videos” so pitiful that these guys cannot put their phones away when dining , or at least have some common courtesy and spacial awareness. Otherwise , the main thing here is the food is wonderful ! I’ll be back for sure.”

“I have been ordering Royal Pizza (delivery) from the Hys location for many years now, and OMG this location never disappoints. The salad is always so fresh & crispy, the pizza's are always still hot, right out of the oven (be careful) and very delicious with lots of toppings and just the right amount of oozing cheeze. “Fast, friendly and personalable service. The space is clean and efficiently designed. I ordered the Beef Satay by recommendation and it was amazing. I like Bahn Mi, but always find it a little dry. The bahn mi was perfect. I ordered shrimp toast for something new. It was great. And the iced coffee was delicious and exactly what I expected.

As for the coffee they do have a proper single group la marzocco espresso machine. So if you like coffee you don't have to shy away from ordering one.
