“My mom and I went for supper on Thursday after spending the entire day at the hospital with a family member. Our waitress was absolutely exceptional. We returned again on Friday and were lucky to have the same waitress—once again, she went above and beyond. She generously comped our mocktails and even gave us a $20 gift card in case we needed to come back again. During such a stressful and emotional time, her kindness and compassion meant more than she’ll ever know. Being rushed to the city for a hospitalized family member is overwhelming, and this level of thoughtfulness was truly unexpected and deeply appreciated.”

“We went to Continental Treat lastnight for our Oma’s birthday. And one of the reasons we picked this restaurant was it is 100% gluten free. My daughter (6) is celiac and we were able to attend, enjoy great food, and not worry about cross contamination at all. Thank you 😊 Food was delicious. “My husband and I celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary dinner here and had a wonderful experience. The food was exceptional and each dish was full of flavour. I’ve never made calamari so I don’t know if it’s hard to get it right as I’ve had really tough and rubbery calamari. Sabor’s was exquisite and perfectly done. It was the best meal we’ve had. The staff were friendly, and professional. Our waiter was outstanding, very attentive and certainly competent. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! Treat yourself and go.”

“The first thing I will say is that we had some trouble finding this automated pizzaria. We wandered around the first (ground) level of Heart of the Robbins building for thirty minutes eliciting several side-glances from young students. This automated pizzaria is NOT in the cafeteria. Go upstairs one level and you will see the machine. (Its about the size of a single wide mobile home). Additionally, the pizzeria is operational 24/7 so don't be dismayed by opening and closing hours of various macewan food vendors.Just some back story on PizzaForno; the machine doesn't actually create the pizza, they are made off-site and stocked in the morning, never frozen. The machine (from an unnamed French manufacturer) puts your selection into a high tech convection oven and blasts hot air on it for 3 minutes before boxing and projecting it like your old copy of Independence Day.Once you find PizzaForno get ready for the most thrilling and satisifying food ordering experience ever. A large touch screen prompts you to choose a type of pizza, typically there are approximately 6 options. My dining companion chose pepperoni, which was half price due to national pepperoni pizza day! The "hamburger" pizza seems like a hit with the locals, since it was sold out. With the half price discount their pizza was only $6.00. I paid a little more for my vegetarian pizza, however it was unsurprisingly worse than the pepperoni. It looked like someone shot the toppings on it with a vegetable shotgun, blasted into in a cluster near the centre of the pizza. The moisture of the vegetables was great enough that it prevented the high quality mozzarella from reaching it's chewy browned potential. Even though their recipes need honing, I didn't dock a star since the quality was obviously still high and the pepperoni pizza was hard to slight; chewy flavorful crust and perfectly cooked throughout.My dining companion and I enjoyed our delicious pizza's in the comfortable seating area next to the pizzeria whilst wondering playfully about the future of food service, and the possibilities of stocking your fridge at home with precooked PizzaForno's (an option if you want to cook it at home and relax on the couch with your feet up) and even the potential of putting a PizzaForno in a park (borden park?). While we embraced the revelations of this emancipatory technology, we watched students bustling about campus. Even if we don't see it on this earth, perhaps one day somewhere there will be an automated post-scarcity economy where beings will be free to eat pizza and fully persue their creative potential.”

“I've been eating at subway for over 15 years. And I don't leave reviews often. This is my first ever subway review. When they say subway artist, this is what they're talking about. The subway artist tonight made one the best tasting cold cut combo subs ive ever had, as well as one of the most stunning visual one (wish i went for the italian herb n cheese for the photo). And I can say this is the first time ever I've even considered posting a picture of a sub. And typically I go for the steak n cheese or chicken teriyaki . Give that artist a raise. Can't wait to go again”

“I was waiting in the parking lot and seen the sign for Rockin Robyns so I decided to take a look at their menu. I can't believe how many options there were! I had a very hard timing choosing, but ended up ordering the perogies for pickup. The staff were so lovely and it came in a bag with a little packet of utensils, salt/pepper and napkin all in one. Once I got back to work I couldn't wait to dive in. Best perogies I've ever had! The bacon was still crunchy, and the spicy sauce they put on is brilliant! (It wasn't too spicy-just enough). Definitely will recommend to others and coming back again.”

“It was a really good spot to have dinner and was honestly incredible. The staff were really nice. The only thing is that you have to order by scanning a barcode, which I didn’t find too difficult. It actually avoids communication issues since everything is done through the website, but it is necessary to bring a phone and have access to Wi-Fi to order. You can always choose the “pay at front” option, where they bring the machine at the very end and you pay there.
The food is really good, and the portion sizes are huge. Everyone I went with had enough to take leftovers home. The pricing is very reasonable. They also have boba tea with a really nice selection, along with a pretty big dessert menu.
It’s a great place for a large group of people, and they are pretty busy even during weekdays. Their braised duck is incredible. Their Shanghai noodles are pretty good, and the stir-fried chicken rice is also really good”

I had a donair burger- the bun was so fresh and soft, and the meat was literally perfect. As a picky French fry critic- theirs were worthy of driving across the city and beyond for. My kids rated their burger and poutine a 12/10. We will definitely be back and telling all of our friends about it. Give this place a try- you won’t be disappointed. Very good food, large portions, Our server Christian was very personable as was the General Manager. It was very quiet at the WEM location when we visited last Thursday evening. my Prosecco came in a coupe but Christian quickly changed it over to a flute which I prefer. This is the 3rd time we have visited Atlas in the past 12 months and have always been very pleased with everything. The restaurant is sadly lacking ambience which could be due in part to the large footprint of the space and how spread out it is. However they do have live music on the weekends at WEM which would enhance the overall experience. We will definitely return in the future.”
