“Found this gem of a restaurant on our vacation in New Orleans. Food, drinks, and service were all excellent. The staff was very attentive to the timing of food delivery to allow for a good conversions and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!”
“I ordered Nirvana pakora and vegetable saag for lunch. Service was quick and the food was delicious. The server, Sherwin, was friendly and informative. I will definitely go back and try other items on the very varied menu.”
“We had an absolutely amazing anniversary dinner tonight. The food was outstanding. Drinks were delicious. Dessert was to die for. Don’t miss out on those lobster dumplings and pork belly!!! Oliver was fantastic and made our experience that much better. Already talking about another trip over. Thank you GW Fins for celebrating with us tonight!”
“Bob Boudreau and I were in NOLA for 9 nights. Three of the nights we had reservations at other places with family. Our 1st night we looked up and found Jewel of the South. We loved it so much. we asked our nephew, his medical school advisor and his wife to join us. All three lived in NOLA and had never been here. All 5 of us would definitely go back in a heart beat. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. Great staff. GREAT ALL AROUND! FIVE STARS for Jewel of the South.”
“My husband and I went on Friday night for dinner. Could not wait to try the new menu and it was simply awesome. To start with, our sever team was Isaac and Cheyanne and they were great. We never waited for anything. The Hot Crab Claws and Foie Gras Torte for appetizers were divine. I ordered the Duck Cassoulet and my husband had the visiting fish, Sea Bass over Yakamein. While the fish was excellent, the Duck ruled the table. Thanks to the Servers and Kitchen for a wonderful meal. We'll be back.”

“We were on vacation for one of our kids wedding The hotel we were staying at is located just in front of the restaurant What an amazing find to have this kind of food and wonderful atmosphere right around the corner of the hotel in walking distance Less than 5 minutes Can’t say enough about the staff from the hostesses to the servers and the wonderful chefs The 1st time we sat at the bar to watch the food being made which helped with selection 2nd time we sat at a table because we knew what we wanted Overall experience with my family coming to the restaurant is you’re missing out on one of the best kept secrets Absolutely delicious and wonderful meal From start to finish My Family & I want to say thank you so much for taking care of us and making us feel at home”
“I had a most enjoyable dining experience Lufa Nola this past Sunday. The food was delicious; the service was great & the atmosphere very serene & relaxing. I rate this restaurant & service as excellent with 5 stars. Therefore, I highly recommend it. Joyce D.”
“I have passed Fives multiple times, been meaning to stop in and finally did on last night w| a friend who was visiting.
We stopped by on a Tuesday, that is of course a pretty slow day in the city so it was pretty dead. We sat on the cocktail bar side and we were greeted by a super nice bartender— I can’t remember her name, but she had loads of energy!! We ordered a few oysters and they were hands downs some of the best oysters I’ve tasted. My favorites were the Mon Louis, such a great, clean taste. My drinks were extremely good. I could have sat there all night stuffing my face a drinking.
I wasn’t aware that Fives is owned by the same people who own The Columns, makes sense because food and drinks are always perfection there as well.
Fives is located in Jackson Square, prime location for tourists as it is centrally located in the Quarter. The space is limited, If you are expecting a full blown out restaurant, this isn’t the location. Fives is truly a cocktail/oyster bar. I believe I saw a total of four tables in each corner w| four chairs to each table.
This will certainly become a new spot for me to hang.”

“Awesome everything! Great service, great food, great brunch ambiance. Coming back every year!”
“We had the turtle soup and pork belly appetizers, and cocktails at the bar with Claire! She was amazing. The smoked old fashioned was wonderful. We enjoyed the atmosphere and we can’t wait to go back :) Ben, Katie and Rick from Lafayette”
“The food was not what I expected, it was hot, fresh, and beautifully presented.”
“I have so much love for Cane and Table. My wedding reception was held at C&T in 2019 and we had literally the best time. Best food, cocktails and ambiance. The upstairs is particularly charming and beautiful. So glad we have memories there. The staff was also so gracious and gorgeous, we had so much fun sharing our favorite day with them. For a long while we would pop in whenever we were in town and were always treated like friends. Can’t wait to visit again!”
“Our food was out of this world! Our server was fast and friendly and the Kofta and samosa were the perfect pairing with delicious cheese naan. Atmosphere=great, food=amazing service= top notch. Goupi treated us well and we will be back when we come back to town!”

“Best overall food experience ever! Every course was meticulously prepared and described perfectly so we could know exactly what we were tasting in every bite. the wine pairings were absolute perfection. Superb chefs, and the entire staff was friendly and professional. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“We were blown away on our first visit this morning!! Ryan is a talented mixologist in the bar creating beautiful, delicious and truly unique drinks. Our server Louis was incredibly charming and attentive, giving us excellent menu choices —as it was a hard decision. Every dish was a work of art—both in presentation and flavor. The whole experience was top-notch, and we can’t wait to come back!”

“Had an amazing experience eating at Dakar NOLA. The menu was fresh, thoughtful and a great marriage of Senegalese and New Orleans flavors. The service was top notch and because it’s a relatively small restaurant, the atmosphere was intimate and relaxed. Was only passing through NOLA for 1 night and there were so many great restaurants to choose from but I’m so happy I went with Dakar. It was one of my favorite meals ever!!!”
“Renee is amazing!!! The tour was great and love the company!!!”

“It’s dark, it’s cool, and they’ll play 60’s/70’s rock gems as the house music. The food is pretty good too. This is my favorite spot I’ve found after several years living in The Quarter. The vibe is perfect. Its the darkness and the music that really makes me not want to leave. It’s rock’n’roll without being a dive. Oh yeah, did I say the food is pretty good too?”

“Had to visit as I heard this was one of the best places to get donuts and coffee. Came here on our last night after dinner and got the espresso with ice cream and a shake along with a cinnamon roll to share with my honey. The shake was a perfect consistency. Then came here again the day we were leaving out as they have Koloches. Haven’t seen those since we lived in Texas. It was pretty good but that Vietnamese coffee 🤤🤤🤤 it was soo good. I’m craving it now as I write this. Then got some donuts for the road. All very good. Highly recommend this place.”
“A New Orleans must! Great tasting, traditional Creole food. Food comes out HOT and the portions are big! A more simple menu that has just enough options and you can’t go wrong with any dish (although I recommend the red beans and rice, stewed or fried chicken and the praline bread pudding). Very impressed with how friendly the staff was. We will definitely be eating here again next time we are in town!”
“The fancy drinks 🍹 are titillating and the appetizers are fantastic. However, the entrees were not impressive. The chicken was served undercooked and the shrimp dish was overcooked and very greasy. Ambiance is what you pay for here and the delicate mix of intoxicating flavors in their cocktails! Staff is very friendly!”
“The food was excellent. The wings, honey wine, jollof with the lamb made our day. I'll definitely come back when visiting the city.”

“My first time here in New Orleans visiting heard about the famous Muffuletta sandwich and wanted to try it I picked Verti Marte a quaint but small friendly establishment! The sandwich did not disappoint very tasty huge in size I got mine warmed I will definitely go back when I visit to again 😄”
“We found this bar by chance while seeking shelter from the rain. It has a quirky theme centered around toilets, which adds a fun touch. Keep in mind, they only accept cash. The drinks here are big and pack a punch, starting at around $6 for basic options. Expect to mingle with a local crowd.”
“Bartenders were amazing!!! ‘‘Twas a quiet ish night but the vibe was right and bartender 1 made me feel at home. Later bartender 2 did as well, as did the male patrons for this queer femme. Bartender 1 knew I had work the next day and made sure my water was filled along with my G&T. 10/10”
“First Aunt Tiki’s experience was about 15 years ago. This year my wife let me bring the kids. My 23 year old and I went to see my Cowboys get beat on Christmas Eve. Love this bar. New and fantastic every time I sneak in. Unfortunately after I left, in the rain, slip sliding over to Bourbon St. I eventually slipped my best slip and fractured my fibula, skinned my knees and scabbed up my forehead. I’m paying for it now but it was an epic adventure. Love all of you there but I’m gonna give the old liver a break for a while. 10 out of 10 if you’re cool!”
“I’ve heard the bartenders are great here and this is the place. I went Monday night, the bartender was ugly af. He knocked over a whole glass of wine on my friend and was unapologetic. Then charge my friend $6 for a Water. He said he was new lol We are service industry, we tip. The disrespect is not okay.”
“This place is IT! please come see NOELLE and her boss/cook Matt. Omg, the foood, the vibe, the convos, the fact it's a local joint but also so welcoming to everyone was just ideal. It's got a dive type of vibe, and also a very obscure feel. Like, you shouldn't be here, but again, you should! Tried every type of egg roll, pulled pork sandwich and the crawfish queso dip OMG, so delicious. Again, Noelle, just felt like family!!”
“I visited around 5am looking for a late night bite, and these guys did not disappoint. The guy @ the counter was very patient while I was deliberating over their extensive menu. I ended up ordering the triple decker club with a side of jambalaya. My food was done in like 5 mins, & he even brought it out to my car. They also had a variety of convenience items for purchase, like the Chesapeake Crab Chips that paired well with my club. This was one of the best meals I’ve had visiting NOLA. 11/10 spot, must try!”
“February 19th, 2020. Husband's 50th. Wanted a Mardi Gras birthday. He went to 'Bead & Boobs' on Bourbon whilst my short self wandered in this bar mid afternoon. I found a bar stool, kicked back and let Houla introduce me to a lovely spiced rum which became my companion the rest of the evening. The bar itself was clean, bathrooms were kept up and had a slappin playlist pumping. I watched drunken drama come in and out: a young couple saddled up and in mid drink the boyfriend realized he was surrounded by gays so he bolted, a gentleman asked me to babysit his darling Yorkie while he drained his snake, but the best was watching Houla superhero himself over the bar to rescue a very intoxicated woman from a total creep. That was legend! Enjoyed my 7 hour stay. Everyone needs to be here!!”
“We had the most amazing dining experience we've had in awhile. Our server Antonio was knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu and attentive without hovering. We ordered bread for an appetizer along with the T-bone pork chops and Scallops with grits as the main course. Dessert was the Almond cake with honey ice cream. Everything came out with absolute perfection. Our drinks were never empty. We left full and blown away by the whole experience at Plates. Highly recommend!”

“Headed to New Orleans in July, and Sweet Vegan Soul Food will be my first stop after leaving the airport. This will be my third visit to this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious! The facility is clean and the staff is so friendly. When traveling I’m always excited to locate a tasty vegan restaurant and this place is my spot when in New Orleans! I can’t rave about it’s food enough…simply delicious!”
“this place was amazing! They are very friendly and the food was awesome. My son just got out of surgery and wanted a poboy. This was the place he picked and again they didn't disappoint. My family and I will Def be back. Side note their sweet tea is the best I ever had.”

“Extensive Market Knowledge:** Suzan Mchugh extensive market knowledge positions her as a resourceful source for understanding global economic trends. Investors benefit from insights that go beyond the immediate investment landscape, providing a broader perspective.”
“Stopped in for brunch before a show at the Saenger. We mainly chose here because of the convenience, but we’re so glad we did! Food was excellent and staff was very friendly. Our children enjoyed everything too! Mofongo was delicious and I appreciated the mocktail the bartender made for my daughter. 10/10 recommend.”
“My favorite bar in New Orleans! Amazing staff with great service, always friendly and ready for conversation. Queer/trans-friendly. Quirky weird shit playing on the TVs. Usually late night food trucks from local vendors, including awesome yakamein, a New Orleans classic.”

Fine Dining
“Wild South is the best place to enjoy a cozy, delicious meal focused on Southern cuisine.
We went on a Wednesday night the week before Christmas, so it was slower than normal, which allowed us to sit at the chef's table and get unfettered attention from the staff and chefs. We ordered the 5 course prefix menu, and everything came perfectly timed, and perfectly portioned, to the point where we left satisfied but not overly full. I paired this with their Sherry flight, which allowed me to experience a wide range of styles they have to offer.
The first course was an escabeche-esque snapper, eaten in a rice cracker. The second course was an ode to New England style chowder. Both items were not listed on the menu at the time.
We were interrupted by an intermezzo of uni and trout roe topped chicken schnitzel bites, followed by the vegetable course of broccolini, carrots and peppers, topped with a pumpkin XO sauce, and goat creme fraiche.
The main course was a brined and one-week dry-aged pork chop, with radicchio and sweet potatoes.
Pre-dessert was a refreshing scoop of strawberry sorbet, and dessert was a nod to chocolate mint ice cream, but with merengue and toasted sesame, along with Creole cream cheese custard with strawberries and poached carrots.
Overall we had an amazing time, enjoying our camaraderie with the chefs and staff, and would highly recommend going back and enjoying a meal with friends. We will definitely be back when we return to New Orleans.”
“What an experience!
We met with some friends for the Omakase menu and it was well worth the cost. With this, you get 12 or 15 different sashimi options. Each were so delectable and tasted Ike the best quality. They presented about 3 of the 12 at a time so you were not overloaded with a big platter. Highly recommend if you like the raw type. Our server was fantastic and knew every single item that was placed on the table. Cocktails were so good as well and I recommend their off menu rum drink. Decor inside is cozy and modern but very inviting. Don’t sleep on the apps as well and you MUST get the Brussels! We will be back very soon!
P.S. catch happy hour for specials on Brussels and you better get the crispy rice trio!”
“My son and I had the absolute pleasure of eating supper at the Mosquito supper Club last night. We drove from Pensacola Florida and it was so absolutely divine. I am originally from Mississippi and my entire life I have eaten gulf coast seafood. Best gumbo, ceviche was amazing, crabs claws yum. Tomato and cucumber salad with croutons. I cannot remember the names of everything. Potato salad with so good with a dash of hot sausage and in the gumbo I have never heard of doing it this way. We chose communal seating and enjoyed talking to everyone at our table. The ambiance of the mismatched vintage silver ware. The beautifully aged house with its milk glass lighting and copper ceiling medallions and aged plaster walls. It was such beautiful experience. The buttermilk ice cream with fig sorbet. Yum.”
“It's a great place! I really liked the chef's idea of using great local ingredients and not overly complicating the dish. You don't feel rushed, the ambience is nice and they did a good job with the wine pairing.
This is definitely a place to go if you want to have a great time, take your time and enjoy the food and the company you're with.”
“The next time you’re in NO, make a reservation at August! You’ll thank us, I promise. 🤤 FIVE STAR REVIEW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The meal started out with a “gift from the chef.” A savory leek custard, topped with pumpkin mousse and a sprinkle of sweet & salty crunch, presented in a perfectly carved eggshell. We were given spoon bread as well, which was the lightest, airiest and creamiest corn muffin ever to cross my lips. The sommelier told us that the secret ingredient was sour cream. I guess the secret is out now! 😉 Our sommelier suggested Pinot Noir. Monty chose Belle Glos Las Alturas. Let’s just say that we started shopping for it online immediately after the first taste. It has a fuller body than a typical Pinot Noir, so smooth and juicy. Such a perfect pairing. 🤌🏼 Monty had the pecan-smoked venison tartare with celery root and mountain rose apple. The flavors and textures were out of this world! We combined a few bites of the tartare with a bit of spoon bread. Omg, I’ll say it again: Out. Of. This. World. 💥 I ordered the gnocchi "black and blue" with black truffles, jumbo lump crab and parmesan. Tender, yet slightly firm, with a delicate, pillowy texture, but the truffle took it to a whole ‘nuther level! They gnocchi’d it out of the park with this one. For dinner we shared duck three ways with Bayou Cora grits, foie gras, confit, chestnut mushrooms and cherry bounce. Y’all, I’ve had foie gras, but never before like this. An intensely flavorful silky texture that literally bursts on your tongue. It was absolutely divine. Dessert was hummingbird cake with creole cheesecake, bruleed banana and pineapple ice cream. I just don’t know what to say except the pastry chef knows exactly what she is doing!! This was definitely meal to remember with the love of my life, my favorite dining companion, and my partner in culinary escapades. I love our journey of flavorful adventures, seasoned with spice and a love that mirrors the diversity of a well-crafted menu. Here’s to more delicious chapters in our love story, baby, where every bite is a beautiful reminder of the incredible life we share! Cheers!! 🥂🥂”
“Our first time dining there and they didn’t disappoint! The service was perfect from the moment we walked in. The waiter was at the table to greet us immediately and promptly took our drink order. They started us off with a complimentary meatball served with a basket of garlic bread and they even put a candle in my mother’s as we were celebrating her 87th birthday. We ordered several appetizers including the crab cakes which were the best I’ve ever had. The beef carpaccio was so good we ordered it a second time and the entrees were equally as delicious. After the meal they brought out a red velvet brownie with a candle in it for my mother and the other tables in our seating area joined us in singing happy birthday to her. She was more than thrilled! We ordered a few desserts to share and the tiramisu was fabulous, in fact it was so good we ordered a second! Needless to say this was a spectacular dining experience.”

“I have been sending people to Bar Tonique for close to a year from my position as liquor vault manager at the Sazerac House. So many return to tell me what a great experience they had & to thank me for recommending it. I have left the position at Sazerac House & won't be sending any more from there, Good luck to all the craftsmen & women behind this truly wonderful place!”
“The Best Praline’s and My God the Crab Beignets . Ive never tasted crabmeat in beignets , until I went to French Quarter Festival . THE BEST, in the Entire in New Orleans . Thank you 🙏🏾 All. God Bless the Owner Mr. Robert. Overflow ! The Original Praline from the Old School.”
“Very nice restaurant, the Pho was good but not excellent. The soup was just ok, but the meat/ round was good. I have tasted better Pho than this restaurant. The size of the bowl was ok, not as large as other pho restaurants. The price of the soup was on the higher side because of the location. Overall experience was good. Thank you for the super attentive waiter. She noticed I needed a fork and immediately brought it to me.”

“Thanks to my friend Brittany, I discovered a true culinary treasure—Thai’d Up—and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment you walk in, the cozy, quaint atmosphere and warm, inviting staff make you feel instantly at home. The attention to detail is impressive—even the utensils sparkle! But let’s talk about the real star: the food. It’s nothing short of spectacular. This isn’t just Thai food—it’s Thai cuisine elevated to an art form. Every dish bursts with flavor, freshness, and care. You can truly taste the pride the chef pours into each beautifully crafted dish. The roti flatbread? Light, flaky, and downright heavenly—like eating a savory cloud. It’s a must-have every single time. The Pad Thai is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the red curry is rich, aromatic, and absolutely delicious. An extra bonus? You can customize your spice level, which I love. If you like a little heat, I recommend starting with a level 1. Thai’d Up doesn’t mess around—those spice levels can definitely put some hair on your chest! If you think you know good Thai food, think again. Thai’d Up will completely redefine your expectations and keep you coming back for more. Once you’ve eaten here, no other Thai restaurant will compare.”
“The options on the vegan menu are creative and so delicious!! They also have really thoughtful mocktails & cocktails with fresh ingredients! Absolutely recommend eating here!”
“Most amazing staff and the wine and food pairing recommendations were perfect.”

“I selfishly want to tell you not to go here, so I can continue to get into one of the best, underrated restaurants in near Garden. Two visits, flawless everything.”
“We dined at Commander’s Palace with a group of four, and from start to finish, it was an exceptional experience. Reservations are definitely recommended—this place is popular for a reason. The service was truly the best I’ve ever experienced. From the moment we sat down, the staff made us feel like VIPs. Chairs were pulled out for us, and there were dedicated servers for drinks and food. Every dish was brought out at the same time, with multiple staff coordinating to place each plate down simultaneously. Even the drink server meticulously cleaned the table with a small food pickup tool and replaced entire water glasses rather than just refilling them. It’s those small, thoughtful touches that really set this place apart. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, with warm lighting, tasteful wallpaper, and comfortable seating. Dressing up is encouraged, and it adds to the classic New Orleans fine dining charm. Another fun touch: they wrap up your leftovers in foil—and shape it into a swan, which was such a delightful surprise! As for the food, I personally loved my meal, though a couple of my friends were a bit more critical of their choices. Still, the quality and presentation were excellent overall. If you’re in New Orleans and want a special dining experience, Commander’s Palace is absolutely worth a visit.”
“I had a terrific time dining here and the foods flavor was amazing.”
“This was our first time visiting Mothers. It came recommended by a tour guide at the ww2 museum. We wanted a taste of New Orleans cuisine, and mothers was Great! Thank you for a wonderful breakfast!”
“We had the best time last Thursday night. Saffron was vibey, drinks were good and strong, the menu was unique, food was amazing, and service was top notch. We can’t wait to go back!”
“fantastic atmosphere and ambiance! Sunday jazz brunch! music at your table! Great and friendly service! Best tasting food I've had in the quarter! 10/10 highly recommend!”
“Love it..If you want good and fresh food this is the place..Clean, friendly, and the food is really really delicious. I highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed.”
“Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired. Our waitress barely stopped by to check on us. The food was fantastic. The charbroiled oysters were plump and meaty. The gumbo and coleslaw were both very flavorful. And the fried fish dinner was also fantastic. Is the service was anywhere near the quality of the food I would recommend 100%.”
“One of the best dining experiences my wife and I ever had. It is a true culinary delight that awakens your taste buds. Braiden was an excellent server who takes pride in his work and it shows! Thank you for a wonderful evening.”
“This was my wife and I second visit. I truly believe this is one of New Orleans premier steakhouses! We're now looking forward to our next visit. Great service guys!!!!”
“food is fantastic everything i`ve tasted has been well made at the verge edenvale i would definitely recommend a visit top star well done”
“love this place. I had the sizzling steak and the combo fried rice. cant wait to eat here again. the staff were really polite too.”
“Must try!! We had the most delicious dinner at Pigeon and Whale. We were sitting at the bar, which is my favorite. It was fun watching them shucking the oysters. We ordered the swordfish schnitzel and scallops. Both were amazing. Their cocktails were also lovely. Great service. We had a fun date night but it would be a great place to bring guests or get together with friends as well!”
“Been a minute since we’ve been here. But wow it was OUTSTANDING! Service, drinks by Ryan, food was absolutely delicious. Def going back into our reg date night rotation ❤️”
“Great unique cocktails, relaxed atmosphere and knowledgeable staff.”
“Really chill and intimate atmosphere.
Great service, very personable vibe to it.
The pizza (Bianca, Supremo) and house salad was delicious. Get a side of ranch and honey, sounds weird but check it out.”
“Stumbled upon this place while walking, and was so pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing and very well served. The staff is super friendly.
A must for all travelers”
“I’m a local who has dined at many N.O. restaurants and Cafe Amelie is my favorite. Charming atmosphere and THE BEST food and drinks!”
“Great food and service. This was our first eating experience in New Orleans. Gallier’s set the bar high. We enjoyed the red snapper and seafood platter for lunch.”
“What an enchanting experience offering for a Sunday brunch. The decor-amazing. The menu-creative and flavorful.”

“Absolutely amazing fish ceviche! Definitely the freshest bite we had all weekend ?! Also split the beef arepa with spicy aji, bold flavor tender meat.
Excellent lunch spot!”
“Wandered in because it was so pretty inside through the window, and sure enough, it was on the inside too! I didn't have much appetite but felt social and curious, so I sat up at the barter chatting with other guests and browsing menus. I eventually went with a couple drinks made by bartenders Will and Nick, who will steer you in the right direction if you ever find yourself clueless yet captivated at their bar.”
“Wonderful wonderful place to have a pastry, speciality coffee, and delicious breakfast! (They also have lunch!) We had some of their speciality coffee, the BearCat breakfast, pastry’s, and the breakfast burrito. So. Good. The whole staff works hard together and I loved the overall experience. Great location, too. The vibe today was fun! We can’t wait to go back.”
“Sebastian is the best!!!!!!! Ask for him…..he went out of his way to make our wedding anniversary so special and fun!!! The whole restaurant is so fun and the best time! We loved everyone there! I have been many times and every time is such a fun experience!!!! #askforsebastion”
“This place really left a lasting impression. From the hostess, our server, the bathrooms, food, price point, time we spent. Everything was on point. We had oysters, gumbo, bisque, redfish, and house salad. Everything was divine!!! Keep up the good work! Also loved that it was so very clean.”
“Cafe Sbisa is kind of a little hole in the wall on Decatur but has the absolutely best Sunday jazz brunch. It’s not super fancy and has great mimosa deals, great food and great music.”
“By Far the best food we have eaten here in New Orleans so far!! Highly recommend! There were 6 of us and every one of us loved our plates. They have a variety to choose from and the portion sizes are huge! Not to mention the great service! The waiters and waitress are the best!!! If you’re here in New Orleans don’t miss out!!”
“Recent dinner at the Jazz Bistro. Food was impeccable. service by server Sarah, was inconsistent and inattentive. Struggled to get her attention to place order. She ignored us for table of six. Surly, rude, unhelpful, no personality. spoke with young manager on duty; he listened, but said NOTHING in response to my concerns.(I identified myself as a former food and beverage manager with Hyatt Hotels and considerable restaurant experience.) Don't expect attention here, even if your needs are minimal. Other staff were charming, which made Sarah look even more inept.”
“Amazing food and perfect vibes! The drum was rich and flavorful, easily the best dish I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere made the whole night feel special. Highly recommend!”
“Great ambiance and exquisite food. Joshua made our night very special with his great service. Un lugar muy elegante, tranquilo y lejos del bullicio de la ciudad. Highly recommended 🥰”
“Great service and food! Staff were really personable and went above and beyond!”
“Can one of my most beautiful experiences? Louisiana delicious food and very friendly people very kind it really was wonderful to celebrate our anniversary in this place.”
“The food was fantastic and the owner was great! Definitely check this place out for some of the best latin food you'll have!”
“Been eating here since 2017 and it’s always excellent. Never disappoints. The food is awesome and the service is super fast no matter how busy they are. Try the cheese grits and fried potatoes.”
“Amazing restaurant. Thanks Francesca and staff for a great meal.”
“This is a really good locally owned Thai restaurant just a few blocks outside the French Quarter. I got the Crab Rangoon and the gyoza as appetizers, and they were amazing! For dessert, I loved the Umi cheesecake so much I got a second slice. I also found the chandeliers and the detailed mural made the space feel classy but still casual. The service was also very good. I will definitely be back.
Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is level with the street. There are no stairs either inside or outside.”
Cheers!! 🥂🥂”
“Highly recommend the Coolinary menu…2 weeks left. Delicious & creative redfish dish, shrimp bisque, & pecan pie. Service was also perfect. Can’t wait to dine there again!”
“We had another great experience last night. Scott was amazing! Great food and excellent service. It was definitely worth the wait.”
“Chemin a la Mer has a beautiful view of the river and absolutely terrific food. I had the: hamachi crudo baked feta Australian Wagyu skirt steak and frites crème brûlée Everything was perfect. Wonderful experience.”
“Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. I will definitely return.”
“Food and Beverage were amazing, as was our service from Jazz, it was so good that we went twice during our 4 day visit for the Sugar Bowl. Highly recommend Sun Chong!!”
Yum.”

“To give you a sense of the kind of service and care, the waitress informed us that she does not give a check until asked so that people can stay at the table as long as they like and not feel rushed. The owner is a wonderful character. He makes you feel like family and that is part of what makes the atmosphere so pleasant. Of course it's a restaurant. So it's the food that's most important. I had the grilled fish of the day .I can't recall having a better seasoned and cooked fish. Everything was wonderful. A little quirk is that they do not have hard liquor on the menu. It's available, but don't expect any exotic drinks. We will be returning.”
“Food was fabulous! The atmosphere was quaint! Our waiter was very Knowledgeable, Cameron recommended The chicken shawarma plate It was the best I've ever had. And my husband had the falafel plate and we enjoyed both of them. We would recommend your place to anyone visiting New Orleans! The food the service and the atmosphere Was superb, Thank you”
“Silk Road is a bit off the beaten path, but we were very interested in trying the restaurant. The reviews looked great, but they were old. We are so glad that we ate dinner here. We ate outside as it was a beautiful evening and the inside didn't appeal to us. The food was amazing and the prices incredibly (almost unbelievably) reasonable. Apparently the chef has been there for 10 years and continues to wow the staff with his creativity and quality delicious dishes. We can't agree more. Usually we don't repeat a restaurant when we are on vacation because there are so many to try in a short period of time. This food was so delicious, we will partake again before we leave. As a side note, my husband is gluten free and there were a number of options for him. His red curry dish was wonderful, as was my tikki masala.”
“Celtica has fast become our new favorite breakfast place. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable. The vibe is a pleasant mixture depending on the time of visit but mostly very friendly mixture of gen x and millennials. The only hang up i have is the available seating, this place needs more seating as it is gaining popularity quickly.”
“I'd like to know why y'all not making that delicious bread pudding anymore! I'm thoroughly disgusted. That is the best tasting bread pudding in the city and she refuses to make it again. Please bring that item back. It was the best in the city! Thanks .I'm not giving 5 stars until y'all bring that gread pudding back.”
“IMHO, in my humble opinion, this is the best bakery in new orleans and maybe in the country - no one has ever baked better churros - add tres leches - and they have my own kinsfolk beat with their italian lemon cream - and they give brennan’s a run with their bananas foster cheese cake. and their beignets are easily better than cafe du monde and have the nod over my longstanding go-to cafe beignet. wow - off the charts - and grazie mille!”
“Outstanding! From the moment we entered until we left (party of 6 celebrating a birthday), everything from the food to the drinks to the ambience were topnotch. I'll return again and again. Our server was attentive and we enjoyed her recommendations and service. Kudos to the chef.”

“Brennan's Restaurant is an exceptional venue for weddings! The timeless elegance, iconic atmosphere, and impeccable service create a truly unforgettable experience. We love performing here and being part of such beautiful celebrations—it’s always a pleasure!”
“We greatly enjoyed our time and meal here. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with an outdoor courtyard and water fountain. But most impressive was the service and the food. We decided to eat here twice during our week’s stay in NOLA. Staff were kind and attentive, while the food was fantastic. (Crab cakes were a personal favorite of our group). Definitely recommend if you are visiting New Orleans.”
“Antoine was a fantastic server ...polite, courteous, attentive, and extremely handsome. oh and the food was good too. I ordered the soup of the day which was the crab chowder - really decadent but not too rich. Dinner was a coffee rubbed filet cooked to perfection. I was dining alone but seated close to two different couples who did not know each other but struck up a conversation due to their proximity and I enjoyed their conversation as one couple was Swedish and the other was from AL but had Swedish roots. it was a really cool place to eat since I would call it fine dining but a comfortable feel. 10/10. Ask for Antoine.”

“Our krewe met up for drinks at Abita NOLA on Saturday. Nice place with lots of beers to choose from. They also freely let you sample the beers, which is so helpful in choosing. Our group tried many over the 3 hours we spent there.
A couple of bothersome things: 1. we grabbed a table inside after the previous group left but the staff never came by to clear it. It was wet and dirty. And 2. The music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other. Made for lots of yelling “what?”
Place fluctuated in crowdedness and at times there were long lines for drinks. Staff were accommodating. Would return.”
“This place is incredible and totally unique in every way. The sake and the shochu are amazing, and the cocktails are even better! They make all the spirits they use! 🤯 The design of the bar itself is a nod to Japanese “izakaya” and it feels like you’ve been transported into another world every time you step through the front door. It’s an intimate wooden shoebox filled with the sounds of vinyl and friendly conversation. Make sure you take the ferry if you’re coming from the east bank and try a flight of sake to find your favorite one.”
“Best pizza ever put in my mouth 🥵
Cheers 🍻🍺🍻🍺
As for the bartender—vibes were immaculate. Cool, welcoming, and poured up a drink that matched the pizza’s energy: strong, smooth, and unforgettable. No fake smiles or script talk—just real, laid-back energy and good convo if you wanted it.”
“If you haven't been to this perfectly uncomplicated small venue then you are missing out. Chef Sam is bringing her amazing dishes to new places in a place that feel likes like eating at families house. I was impressed the moment I stepped in. If you are lucky, you will have Gina as your server. She is a perfect mix of funny, great stories and never ending hospitality. This is your place to try!”
“My mother and I had just wrapped up the Hop On Hop Off’s Garden District tour and we stumbled upon this place for lunch. I’m so glad we did because we had an unforgettable firecracker fried shrimp po’ boy!
We loved it so much that we went out of our way to grab lunch here again later on our trip!”
“Visited New Orleans and was recommended to go here and it didn't disappoint! The Kajun Chicken Pasta was one of the best cuisines I had while in town! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our party and fix the meal to perfection! I will come again when in town.”
“Came in for restaurant week to give this place a try. Everything was delicious! And having just returned from Portugal I was looking for some authentic Portuguese food. I loved the Nola twist of the recipes. Very delicious. Staff was very attentive and helpful! Our glasses were never empty.”
