“The servers here were kind and very attentive. BUT, my friend ordered a N.A. beer and she was brought an alcoholic one. She didn’t notice until she started to feel buzzed. Luckily she’s not years into sobriety, but that’s a pretty big mess up in my book. We also felt that the plates were a bit rushed considering that the reservation slot is for 2 hours.
The food was hit or miss for us. The soup, the pasta and the bourbon ice cream were phenomenal. The crepe and the cake were good. The tuna was meh.
Overall, we enjoyed ourselves but both felt that we didn’t need to run out and tell people about the restaurant.”
“Lillia Comedor provided excellent food with wonderful inventive flair as to ingredients and sauces and overall food presentation. Service was both very efficient and very friendly/ pleasant without being overly intrusive. Portions from the Chef's menu were reasonable even for big eaters such as myself. We understood that the quality of the restaurant required a high level of expense vis a vis the quality of the food artistry and the ingredients used as well as the level of service. Thus we had no issues with the price points of the food. However, unless they manage some national write up's such as Kann, which has roughly same price level ( maybe even a little higher) has received I worry that the Portland dining population may not find it accessible given the large number of chef owned mid priced (entrees $25-35) restaurants, which not of quite the same quality are often quite good. So it would be a shame as Lillia Comedor is a gem worth the expense if one's budget can afford it.”
“It was my first time experiencing Silk Road, and I had reasonably elevated hopes, and I was not disappointed at all. I came in shortly after they opened as a solo diner at the bar. The staff was engaging and knowledgeable and just fun to be around. The first drink I had was the special called “sour senate” and it was balanced, damn tasty and refreshing. The salt and pepper calamari was in of the more flavorful squid dishes I’ve had in a minute. I finished off with some General Tso’s chicken and a more boozy drink called “trust the next drink” which as a great finish to a day off wandering around Portland. I will absolutely be coming back soon.”
“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!”
“One of the best meals we've had in Portland. Did not have any expectations going into it and were surprised at how good everything was. Had the crudo, plantains, steak frites and khao sai. One of the best things they do here is ask about allergies firs thing and then took our menus to the chef and had him mark down the entire menu with what we could and could not eat--wish every single restaurant did this. Definitely will be back.”

“We love Greek food, and we really enjoyed our meal here. Everything was flavorful, and the prices were very reasonable. We also appreciated that the wine wasn't marked up to outrageous prices like it is at some restaurants. We've been meaning to try this place for a while, and I'm so glad we finally did. We'll definitely be back!”
“Every time we visit we go to Fishwife restaurant. We haven't had a bad dish. Highly recommend”
“This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Portland right now! (And one of us has Italian blood.) Their homemade pasta is divine! And their focaccia is a world unto itself. Plus you cannot skip getting a seasonal cocktail or two, and an amazing salad! Next time we’ll save room for dessert. The staff were all incredibly friendly! We love Tartuca! I am making reservations again right now! 🌈💜”
“Great service , amazing staff. Pizza the best in Portland”
“Fun bar, friendly staff and regulars with great pricing on good food and drinks. Fun activities every night from comedy to karaoke. A great place to hang out in Saint Johns.”
“Java rising is a special place! Amy is always mixing up delicious lattes and smoothies, using quality ingredients and adding in her most special ingredient; love. I highly recommend for your caffeine indulgences and decedent waffles.”
“I always feel welcome in this space with the regulars. Drinks are great and affordable. I ordered the chicken wings naked and they were delicious with the best Ranch dressing I have ever had. Obviously the chef is a Foodie. I highly recommend you stop by and give it a try.”
“My son and I ate dinner here on Tuesday evening, 10-01-24. The male waiter was unimpressive, and asked the young lady behind the bar to take us. I was freshly out of surgery and needed to eat something. She quickly moved us to a padded booth when I asked. She was very prompt and very courteous. An absolute sweetheart. She was professional with our orders and accommodating to our particular requests, mine especially, given the circumstances. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the rosemary chicken and a bland salad with cucumbers. The salad tasted fresh. The chicken was perfect. I would give 5 stars, but some of the other patrons seemed judgmental, and I was displeased with the young man who seemed offended by the couple of rural folks in the big city.”
“Quiet elegance best describes this restaurant. Tastefully presented and prepared with care. The fish melts in your mouth. The set menu is satisfying and offers add ons for those who want more.”
“One of the absolute best restaurants in Portland. Everything is delicious and absolute perfection. Farro pie, agnoloti with chard and tagliatelle with ragu are our favorites. Note There is almost always a wait bc it’s a small place. There is a cute wine bar next door where you can get a glass and appetizer while you wait. We love Luce!”

“No exaggeration - THE BEST SOURDOUGH CRUST PIZZA. Some places say they have it, this place actually lets you taste it. It’s strong and punchy and I cannot wait to get more.
We had a very romantic albeit cozy dinner before a movie next door. We were lucky to score a table on a Saturday evening and have the most fun server! The special was super unique, featuring grilled peaches & prosciutto. We omitted the meat for my vegetarian husband, but next time, I’d recommend any vegetarian sub it for something salty to balance the sweetness.”

“Our first visit to No Saint and definitely not our last. Clean cool inside with just enough decor to make you feel a little fancy. A wall of wine to choose from, good music and great staff. We had olives and cherries, bread, wine, pizza and dessert. All of it felt special and intentional with a lot of thought and love in to each item. I recommend a visit. We got there right when they opened and got a table right away. They do take reservations and probably is suggested later in the evening.”
“Dinner was amazing. Staff was amazing. just AMAZING. My son took me as a surprise while visiting him from FL. Thank you for making this moment for us. 5 star!”
“Amazing holiday dinner experience! This dinner from start to finish, along with the wonderful service, is one of the best dinner experiences we have had in a while! Relay impressed.”
“The service could not have been better! I forget our servers name which I feel so bad about but she was funny and very nice! The food, as always was to die for. The albacore, the noodles and chicken dish, and the black pepper shrimp were fabulous! Definitely don't skip dessert and 10/10 drinks! The coconut shake was phenomenal.”

“We sat at the bar and loved the atmosphere… service was superb (thank you Nick) and the food delicious”
“Cute place! I like what they’ve done with the former Woodsman Tavern space. I really enjoyed the French onion soup, and the Parisienne gnocchi was good too. Service was a little slow, but overall, it was a nice experience.”

“I went to Sammy's on a friend's recommendation and it was amazing. It was pretty busy and there were only 2 people working. One cook and one front counter person taking orders and making milkshakes. I thought it would take a while but the food came out fairly fast. The onion rings were perfectly fried and crispy and the fish sandwich was moist and not overly breaded with a beautifully melted cheese skirt. The milkshakes were insanely good and handmade. Considering the great food quality, the prices were very reasonable. 10/10 I can't wait to go back.”
“I'm really disappointed with Rudy the Manager at this location. I came to use my reward for the 25% milkshake which is good from 2pm - 5pm. I arrived at 2pm exactly. I made my order and scanned my QR code for the discount. When I noticed my charge on the screen, which already went through the total charge was still the regular price. They told me that the register was still showing 1:55pm and that they couldn't honor the discount. I told him it's 2pm already and that it's doesn't specify on the app that it has to show 2pm on their registers. I told him I wanted a refund, he argued with me and almost told me he can't refund me. I told Rudy that it's very misleading. As a Manager, he could've just refunded me and recharged me again for another milkshake with the discount since it's 2pm. He tried to tell me he couldn't refund but I stood my ground. He eventually gave me my refund. I will never patronize this location ever. Screw Carl's Jr and their stupid app. 🙄”
“Very nice and toasty heated outdoor seating, colorful and flavorful food, friendly staff.”
Takeout Restaurants
“INCREDIBLE! the mango lassi was delish & affordable. the butter chicken perfectly spiced, garlic naan so crispy and soft, and the samosa had a salty dust that was SO delicious. everything was fairly priced too!! Vinay was so kind and made me feel welcome! This place is worth every five star, theres a reason why there’s 1,000 of them!!”
“Wonderful coffee in a peaceful, simple ambiance. They are confident in the boldness of their roasting profiles and geographies, including beans sourced from various parts of Asia. I was treated with warmth and care - this was a very memorable experience and I will absolutely return each time I visit Portland.”
“Unique flavors, very creamy ice cream. The mix ins add a good amount of texture. I got a bunch of fruity flavors, which isn’t usually my thing, but these were so good. Shout out to Luna who was so nice and patient with us. After giving me a couple of samples, they recommended me trying another flavor that they thought I might like- and I ended up loving it!!”
“We ordered the fried chicken, summer salad, hummus with burnt beef tips and the corn ribs. Everything was unbelievably delicious. The summer salad in particular was refreshing and different. I can not recommend this place enough.”
“Came here for lunch with my girlfriend. I saw this on Instagram and we decided to give it a roll. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning. We ate in the outdoor seating and had no regrets. It was shaded by beautiful grapevines. The area was beautiful. The food was delicious. The service was helpful and kind. No complaints at all.
Upon asking if the grapes were real we were informed they were and were told we could try them. They were spectacular.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Ate here last night for my bday and it was an incredible experience. We did the 4 course menu and it had great options for a vegetarian like me and a meat eater like my partner.
Tried a unique wine for the first time (look at the wine that has skin contact next to it). It has an orange flavor and was very delicious.
The scallop appetizer was to die for.
All around fantastic experience”
“Food was well prepared and it was an interesting menu. There were some exceptional dishes (e.g. Hamachi Crudo, Watermelon Salad) and a few that were very good, but forgettable. Service was excellent, friendly, responsive but not intrusive. Will definitely return looking for the next exceptional dish.”
“Absolutely amazing tasty food! We had the tacos and instantly fell in love. I could cry with how good it was. The hosts and staff were so friendly and accommodating all around great atmosphere and learning their story made it all the more heart opening. Thank you so much 🫶🫶🫶🙏”

Fine Dining
“February 8th, 2026 menu & service was absolutely divine! Start to finish service and all staff present were absolutely charming and very attentive. Presentation was beautiful, the atmosphere felt very warm, cozy and inviting. Plates were absolutely stunning in all ways. The textures in each dish were just so perfect, exciting and unique. The flavors complimented each other so well and each course was perfectly balanced, flowing nicely into the next. Everything was absolutely perfect, the thrill of enjoying such technical yet plant based preperations genuinly brings tears of joy. Thank you so for so perfectly encapsulating the possibilities of plant based foods! 💚💚 We were happy to hear about the recipes staying and going from the menu, we couldn't agree more with the choices. The Kombucha pairings were magical. Meadowland was perfect. The respect payed to plants here, the absolutely mind blowing creativity that leaves you craving more, makes Astera stand out as a historical evolution for plant based flavor, technical creativity, creation, service and passion in the plant based realm in the U.S. Astera is heaven on earth. I cannot express enough gratitude for such a wonderful little spot, thank you for such tasty snacks!! We will be back very soon, hoping to experience the seasons with you!”
“Beautiful place with a huuge selection! Loved tasting different whiskeys here and the bartenders are very knowledgeable about different flavor profiles.
Food smelled delicious but sadly they were out of all bread and our fries were just ok.
Suggest visiting the place to get in on the waitlist at least an hour in advance”
“Everything. This is not just going to dinner. This is a dining experience. It’s a small reserved venue. Yes it’s spendy, but worth every penny. You’ll try food you never thought you try. The mostly seafood menu it so well prepared. Plus you can watch the prepared each course. A fun night.”
“From the moment we stepped inside and until we were making reservations for the next time, we were treated to some of the most exquisite food, wine, and hospitality in Portland. Creative, fresh, and lovingly prepared, each course had us proclaiming that THIS was the best bite—until the next one came. This place felt like a French dinner party in a country home in the Loire valley. Incroyable”
“One of the greatest joys in visiting Portland for the first time is having excellent food and outstanding service; this place definitely deserves above 5 star rating and I’m grateful for the excellent service and food quality here . Connor was literally one of the best servers ever. Very professional, providing great hospitality and handsome for sure”
“Wonderful experience. Because of celiac, we had never tried sushi before, and we were so excited to find a dedicated gluten free place. The servers and chefs were friendly and took time to explain and recommend dishes to us, and it was great to see how it was prepared. We will recommend it to anyone who asks, and we are planning to return every time we visit Portland.”
“We had a wonderful dinner at St. Jack! Our server, Jill, was fantastic and recommended a lovely Chenin Blanc that paired perfectly with our meal. (For the wine name it is ? but it was delicious 😉)
We started with the Green Coriander dish, followed by the Ling Cod with chanterelles, summer corn, and champagne sauce, which was outstanding. The Moules Robuchon with saffron, ginger, and orange had incredible flavor.
The Chocolate Marquise was the perfect ending, especially paired with Jill’s recommended dessert wine, which complemented the chocolate beautifully.
Excellent food, thoughtful service, and a memorable evening. We’ll definitely be back!”

“I was driving from Seattle to San Francisco and could only choose one of Portland’s amazing coffee shops to try, and I’m so lucky I chose PDX.
Firstly, Sid is an outstanding guy. He spent time explaining all the different beans, I tried a sip of their drip coffee, then got both of the espressos they had to try. I find that a pure espresso shot that tastes good, not burnt or over extracted is extremely rare in North America. At other places, time and time again I’ve gotten it and been disappointed.
But at PDX, the coffee is simply outstanding. The espresso was pulled perfectly by Sid and the beans are top tier. You can taste all the flavor notes while chilling in their calm and fun atmosphere.
Whether you live in the beautiful city of Portland or you’re just passing through, if you can only have coffee at one place, make it PDX. It’s the spot for coffee purists.”
“I can't say enough about Rabbit's. I was a regular pre-pandemic and have since gone vegan and I miss working nearby so much. Their staff is wonderful; and hey, Anton - if you ever see this, hit me up! I'd ollove to thank you personally sometime and know where you got some of your amazing vegan-inspired t-shirts! <3”
“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! Thank you!”
“This place has exceeded and authentic Thai food and a great atmosphere. Met up with a couple of buddies to catch up here and got served by (I’m pretty sure was the owner). Clearly a family owned and operated business this place is top notch. Device was excellent and the Thai coffee (pictured) and the mango rice pudding desert were excellent!”
“Fantastic food! Delicious!! I absolutely love the food here”
“Great restaurant, we go everytime we are in Portland. Great food, great ambience and wonderful staff. Plus an outstanding butcher shop”
“Their lamb Shawarma seasoned with, I believe, cardamom and other things, was the most astonishingly delicious meat I've ever eaten in my life. And it's in a very nice part of town!”
“Been coming here my whole life! Still my favorite restaurant of all time, even after all this time!”
“Tusk is great. Especially for a nice date night. The food is exquisite and the service is AMAZING.”
“Good Food, Great Atmosphere and the serving staff were very friendly and welcoming, I very pleasant dining experience from start to finish.”
“This is a quant authentic German restaurant run exclusively by Otto and Anita, they cook everything themselves in the back. Anita makes all the baked goods and they even make their own salad dressing. The food was delicious. Not many vegetarian items but the Dill Soup was the star, and paired nicely with their house salad. The desserts and baked goods all looked very nice. I enjoyed the German Spezi soda. The staff is super friendly and the whole experience was warm and unique. I highly recommend it.”
“The Mediterranean pizza was delish. It just happened to hit the spot for me. I will definitely go there again and highly recommend it.”
“Gof månnge’ na nengkanno’ gi Chochu Local! Dånkolo Si Yu’os Ma’åse!”
“Per the usual - food, service, atmosphere for dinner tonight was beyond exceptional! Our server - Chad - was perfect! Thank you for another wonderful dinner.”

“One of the best brunch spots in Portland. Everything is high quality, and they even have delicious mocktails! The seasonal veggie hash was a clear winner for us. The fried chicken was so juicy and tender. Highly recommend- come early because it’s crowded and there’s always a line!!”
“Excellent! Fast, friendly service and absolutely delicious food. We had the tempura udon and curry plate. We also enjoyed the sake flight. Cannot wait to go back.”
“I recommend this restaurant, I'm coming from Seattle WA with my family and we went to eat there, very good food, good customer service, everything clean. I invite you to visit them, you will love it.”
“This place is perfect. Every time I come here I feel so lucky that it exists in my neighborhood. The citrus salad is delightful, they always cut the cheese pizza and heat it up not too hot for my toddler, all the pizzas I’ve tried so far have been delicious. Also, it’s adorable inside and the staff is great.”
“Everything about this place is phenomenal. The food is so delicious. We tried several things off the menu and couldn’t decide what our favorite was. They were all that good. And the staff are on top of it! Friendly, helpful, and happy. And we had the most sensational cocktails ever! Highly highly highly recommend this place. Great vibe and energy too!”
“Great lik spot. We're not from here. The food was Amazing and our waitress was so kind. All waiters helped. Think it was the bus guy. But the staff was wonderful. Stop by if your near. Won't disappoint.”
“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.”
“Thoughtfully curated cocktail menu which is varied and interesting. The description of each one is helpful for choosing. The service was very attentive and chatty. Note there is no longer a happy hour if this is a factor in your venue choice.”
“If you're searching for the best Haitian restaurant in Portland, look no further than Tap Tap. This vibrant spot isn’t just about incredible Haitian cuisine — it’s a full cultural experience that blends delicious food, stunning Haitian artwork, and energetic nightlife. This is easily one of the best Black-owned restaurants in Portland that offers an authentic taste of Haiti’s rich heritage right in the heart of the city.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by colorful, eye-catching Haitian art that sets a unique, welcoming atmosphere. The menu features traditional Haitian dishes crafted with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, making it a top choice for foodies like myself who are seeking something different and unforgettable.
What truly sets Tap Tap apart is its lively nightlife, especially the Kompa Haitian dancing nights. This energetic music and dance scene invites guests to immerse themselves in Haitian culture while enjoying great food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Whether you’re out for dinner, a night of dancing, or both, Tap Tap is the best place to experience Haitian culture in Portland.
For anyone looking to support Black-owned businesses while enjoying exceptional food and an unforgettable cultural vibe, Tap Tap is hands down the best restaurant in Portland for a genuine Haitian experience.”
“My favorite, worth the drive. Food is amazing, always. Service is amazing. I have been a few times and never disappointed. I wish I could eat the entire menu every time!”
“It was my first time trying the type of food the Kachka puts out on your plates. I didn’t know what to expect at first but I left pleasantly surprised. The Siberian pelmeni was very good. I also enjoyed the pork neck skewer. I really enjoyed kachka.”
“Best Samosa Chaat I’ve had! Vegan choices with tofu (I had Tofu Saag)! Only Indian food I’ve found with tofu as protein option in Portland. Great service. People care if you are enjoying food and if spice level is right for you. Covered outdoor seating was nice on summer evening. We will be back!”
“This restaurant is EXCELENT The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff is top notch and the food is the best. We will definitely visit again when we go back to Portland.”
“couldn't have asked for a better meal. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations, and our server Bodie provided some of the best service we have ever had, anywhere.”

“Honestly, best tasting experience I've ever had! And amazing service! Thanks so much!”
“Had a very special time with our group of five. Adam made the whole experience easy and fun!”
“Great atmosphere and top-notch drinks!
Had a wonderful time at Bellwether Bar. The vibe is cozy yet stylish, the cocktails are expertly crafted, and the staff is super friendly. Perfect spot for a date night or catching up with friends. Highly recommend!”
“I live in the Roseway Neighborhood, I have lived here for 14 years, and have loved every year. This Year, I am excited as many new dining options have appeared, and they are good. Parallel Food and Drink, is one of the best. I have been 4 times now, and am already looking forward to my next visit. The team is amazing, the wine is amazing, the food is amazing, and did I say the team is amazing? Run, don't walk, you won't regret a moment spent here.”
“The beet salad with tofu “feta” was delicious. The side of mushrooms had way too much salt and oil, which was unfortunate since the mushrooms appeared to be fresh and the seasoning destroyed them. (They were not able to accommodate SOS free mushrooms.). I would definitely return to try other options since all ingredients were fresh and mostly organic. I hope that the restaurant would consider more SOS free options in the future. Updated from previous review on 2026-08-11”
“I haven’t given a restaurant 5 stars in so long. The food was amazing! We wish we lived here, we’ll definitely come back! The pork noodles were our favorite. You can tell the chef really care about the meal and the details!”
“We walked right in and were seated immediately on a Friday night. Enjoyed the ice cream specials and wine! Everything was perfect!!”
“My wife and I come here for special occasions and last night we celebrated her birthday! As always, the service was excellent, food was impeccable, atmosphere was cozy, and a very enjoyable experience. It is a small place which only adds to the intimacy of service and atmosphere. The owner is a great guy who is very knowledgeable in all his dishes and wines which were incredible as well! We love C'est Si Bon and will continue to come here everytime we want to celebrate something at a special place!”
“Friendly staff, good food and portions, great long time neighborhood restaurant!”
“This place is truly incredible. It has every generation from Atari to Nintendo Switch 2, from every major manufacturer, TurboGrafx-16 included. The library is extensive and the energy is palpable. They handle all the game-switching for you; all you do is play, eat, and drink. The prices are more than reasonable and the quality of food & drinks far exceeded my expectations. Whether is a quick stop, or you would like to spend the most of the night here, Retro Game Bar will satisfy completely in all aspects.”
“Genuinely the best food I've had. Everything, from the main entree to the rice, was cooked beyond perfectly. Textures were on point, flavor did not miss. Cannot recommend this place enough”
“Delicious and beautiful food!!! I miss being able to eat at your restaurant because the atmosphere was always so relaxing and unique. Thanks for the amazing food and experience!”
“Al Amir has been a family favorite for years. The owners know my parents, and our family are fairly regular. I honestly believe Al Amir is the absolute best Lebanese food in Portland. My husband and I just had them Cater our 10th wedding anniversary party, and everyone raves about the food. They were super generous with helping navigate our event. Please consider supporting this restaurant in catering your next event! Al Amir, much love to you all and I hope and pray your restaurant has great success, we look forward to ordering from you again. 🤟🏻🥰”
“OMG! This was my first time here and Jason took care of us!! All my friends and I work in the industry and had no choice but to show up almost an hour before close. Jason made it such a memorable moment for my friends birthday. Will definitely be back again for Jason!!”
“We did the chef's menu for a friend's birthday and it was wonderful! The food is great, the drinks fabulous, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I was honestly shocked the last seating wasn't full, but I guess that leaves open spots for walk-ins.”
“Went here for dinner with the family and it was wonderful! Great margaritas, service, and food ❤️ What a gem this place is! Thank you so much for a great experience, we will definitely be back.”
“Elegant setting for a romantic date or a family dinner. Highest quality ingredients, ethically sourced meats, handmade pasta, always a delightful experience.”
“Really nice space serving charcuterie plates, sandwiches, and some other small plates. Full bar as well. Really enjoyed our visit. Waiter was a bit short and to the point , not super friendly so knock off one star. But overall id certainly recommended.”
“Nice Korean restaurant in an odd neighborhood in Southeast Portland. The food was excellent. A large piece of meat to share with various sides you put into lettuce wraps. Great chicken wings appetizer. Friendly, knowledgeable wait staff. Nice alcohol selection including craft beer. Told others at our meeting to go and will definitely return.”
“I was underwhelmed. Great chewy noodle but the broth wasn't spectacular... heavy on the bean sprouts which I don't care for when they're hot and soggy, light on the meat ... one lunch meat thick dlice of pork ... that's it for $17. Group of 5 .. everyone thought it hood but no one thought great. Agedashi was very disappointing. Service was attentive. Vibe and decore very nice.
For me ... not a repeater. Recommended.”
“This place has the best Texas style brisket of any bbq place I have tried in PDX. A great find!!”
“Absolutely amazing!! 10/10
Honestly one of the best meals I have ever had. The caviar and oysters to start recommend by Shelia were delicious. We had the Cioppino and the Albacore, I can't begin to describe the the flavor combination of the albacore and spicy roasted peppers with the saltiness of the crispy potatoes... seriously amazing. We fished with the Berry cobbler and Whiskey Ice Cream. We'll definitely stop in again next time we're in town. Thanks for a beautiful dinner experience”
“This is such a gem.
Delicious, flavorful dishes. Large portions, filling and satisfying.
My husband is not vegetarian but he enjoyed the food very much.
Cozy interior, friendly staff.
We are visiting from the east coast otherwise we would be back again.”
“Excellent food, comfortable atmosphere. We really enjoyed our dinner and the flavors were marvelous!”
“My husband and I ate at Palomar Recently and really enjoyed the ambiance The service and the food. We will make it a point to go again soon and I really look forward to it.”
“This is my favorite restaurant in Portland. I finally went into the restaurant after hearing about it for so long and every single time I’ve been here, I’ve had the most exquisite food with ample portions and the most satiating flavors of Italian food and wine that you could get in Portland. It is comfort food at its finest with the best local ingredients and everything is off The chart delicious. I’ve had the pizza, I’ve had pasta, and I’ve had steak twice. Everything is delicious and I can’t get enough of it. The decanting of the wine, the sides to the bread with olives and oil/vinegar. Every single thing I eat, seems to be at the highest level of ingredients with a lot of attention to detail put into everything. The vibe of the place with the uplifting atmosphere, the decor and the righteously amazing vibes of Chrissie the head bartender…makes me keep coming back for birthdays and special occasions. I actually don’t eat out very much with fast food or takeout because I save my money for this place. I can spend $20 at Taco Bell or I could spend $20 here and usually go home very full with leftovers. Chrissie can make the most delicious concoctions and she literally looks like she’s creating something magical when she comes up with something new. Her cocktails are on point yet she’s always innovating her craft. Attention to detail for every single drink. The best recommendations for what they have that night. She informed me that they bake their bread fresh every day. Foods are sourced locally and every single dish makes me want more. I’m trying to get some variety in what I order yet. The steak does it for me every time. The pizza is the best I’ve had in town and sooooo good. I’m very picky about pizza as it’s my favorite food yet this crust and the delicious cheese and greens and everything they put into their pizza is so tasty. The flavor of every single thing I have eaten makes me want to have it again and again and again. If the Italians that I know in my community, make this a regular spot, then I also know it’s good! It’s authentic righteously on point delicious food every single time I go. All my people come with me to this restaurant for special occasions. Do yourself a favor and visit Cibo! If somebody’s coming in from out of town… Take them to Cibo! To celebrate my children’s accomplishments, I take them to Cibo! I already have two reservation reservations for the first week of January and I went there last night. It’s this good! A lot of people post pictures of the food there and I’ve had every dish that I’ve seen online… But what means the most to me about this place is the whole experience of bringing My special people here to experience, uplifting vibes, delicious and exquisite food, the most incredible drinks, and an atmosphere that takes us out of our daily life and gives us such joy and pleasure to experience. Seriously. Just eat here once and you’ll know.”
“This hands down is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland OR. It the same quality of other top spots in the US like Nobu , O-Ya , and Morimoto . The location is perfect located in the Pearl district. The chefs are high quality and the fish is extremely fresh. They have a great but simple flavor approach. The service is warm, helpful, and appreciative. I always ask for Joy as she is a true professional and loves providing an exceptional experience on every visit.”
“family friendly and a beautiful environment ❤️ Just love this place”
“This was the first visit, but there will be many, many more! We showed up and were told there’d be about a 10 min wait - which was fine! About 30 seconds later though, we had a seat and were looking at the menus! Service was excellent and kind. The food was so, so good! The portions were more than generous and the coffee was good! Can’t wait for our next visit!”
“Have loved the observatory for many years. The cheese platter and fry bread never disappoint!
Wonderful bar in the back to grab some cocktails and enjoy an evening out.”

“We were visiting from out of state and went into the restaurant for lunch. Service was wonderful. I'm not sure if it was the owner that greeted us, but a much older gentleman definitely welcomed our big group and accommodated a round table to fit our group. We ordered plenty and the food came out fresh, hot and delicious. I had the intestine dried pot stir fry and it was tasty. I tried other dishes that were on my table as well and everything was on point! If I visit Portland again, I'll definitely stop by the restaurant for another round. Kudos to the older gentleman that kept checking in with our group and made sure we had everything we needed. Sir, thank you and keep up the great customer service you and your team are doing! Thanks to the cooks for making such a memorable flavor! I'm telling people I know about this restaurant. I hope you don't mind the business. :) God Bless! Have a wonderful day.”
“We love the vibe on 23rd avenue and stopped in for lunch. All but myself ordered appetizers to share. The bacon wrapped jalapenos were awesome as were the other ones I tried, but my enchiladas were a big disappointment. The flavor was unlike any other I have eaten, and disagreeable to me. The Mexican rice was crispy and crunchy also with an odd flavor, and the black beans were mediocre. All in all, my choice was a bust. The service was good, and liked the decor, so I would probably give it another chance, but I won't be ordering the enchiladas!”
“So glad we found this restaurant, It is very small and parking is dicey but well worth it. The food is delicious and the wait staff is welcoming and friendly. The owner and chef came out to see how we enjoyed our meal. You must try to carmal custard. Will come again!”
“I lived in Tokyo, and have had great sushi. So has my brother who lived with me in Tokyo. He thinks Sinju sushi, omakase-style prepared by Alicio, is as good as any he's had. I hesitate to say that, but only because I'm more cautious. Alicio treated us right; the nigiri was great. This is a first class place run by a first class guy.”
“I really enjoy working from Ovation Coffee because it has a welcoming atmosphere, great coffee, and the perfect balance of energy and focus. As a local realtor, it’s an ideal spot to bring my laptop, stay productive, and even connect with people in the community while getting work done.”
“This is the best coffee shop I have found in the Woodstock Area!! The scones are amazing. I love the coffee. They serve on cute china. They don't have a tip section when paying with a card. The staff person assured me that they really have a living wage and health insurance. They do have a tip jar that some customers insist on. I don't usually carry cash.”
“This place has a great selection of vegan and vegetarian comfort food, as well as gluten free options. The staff is friendly and it has beautiful light. It would nice to have more protein and less carbohydrates. The drinks are overly sweet and it’s hard to find a meal with a decent amount of protein.”
“Devils Food Catering alway amazes me. The food is out of this world. James and his team always put a little special spin on their food and it has you trying to guess what have they added to put a twist on a bean or fruit salad. The fried chicken is the best I have ever had!!! Let's talk potato salad.......one word the best!”
“My daughter and I went to Adelleda for brunch on Sunday and it was fabulous. Each item on the menu was so enticing we had a hard time choosing. The Honus Wagner, chicken and waffle style fried oyster mushrooms over waffles with truffle syrup, was incredible. Ultra crispy mushrooms paired so well with the syrup and waffles. The Bobby Bonilla beet pastrami sandwich was a many layered flavor bomb. Such a great play of textures and spices. And Mr. 350 was the best version of chilaquiles I have ever had. Better than any in Tucson. We got to sample brioche straight from the oven and are still dreaming about it. Slathered in house made vegan butter and, no shame, dunked in that truffle syrup. There Will Be Blood was a mighty fine Bloody Mary but the Pina Caliente blew my cocktail loving mind. Smokey from the mezcal, spicy and smooth as pineapple silk. Huge kudos to the mixologist!!! The atmosphere was lovely and chill and the service made us feel special. A real gem!!!!”
“We met some friends for dinner after not seeing them for some time. Kasia was our waitress. She was a delight. We stayed longer than normal, catching up with friends. She did a great job never saying its time for you to leave. Didn't interupt our dinner, just kept everything coming like it should”

“One of the best brunch spots in Portland. Everything is high quality, and they even have delicious mocktails! The seasonal veggie hash was a clear winner for us. The fried chicken was so juicy and tender. Highly recommend- come early because it’s crowded and there’s always a line!!”
“I had a memorable dinner at Higgins Restaurant. I ordered their Oregon Mushroom Set Menu, and each dish reflected their respect for local ingredients. The wild mushroom bisque was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and rich aroma. The waiter was very professional and attentive, explaining the background of each dish. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.”

“I've never had poke this good on the mainland. WOW! The poke, the service, the feel, it's all like it come from HI. I love this place and will be back every chance I get. Heck, I might make the drive up from Eugene just to eat there some more. If you like poke, if you think you like poke, drop what you are doing right now and head over here and get some poke!!!
I'm not joking, it's the best and none around are even close. I had the Furikake poke and Ginger poke.”
“Too Soon is a much-needed addition to the Portland scene. The perfect place to relax with friends or even actually meet somebody new worth meeting. Looking forward to checking out their awesome menu! Plus the bartenders can make anything and everything ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“Not just a restaurant, but also a bar with a wide selection of beverages. Their cocktails are delicious, and the strawberry lemonade is excellent! The food is tasty, the menu is diverse, and there are plenty of vegetarian options.
I highly recommend trying the appetizers, especially the tarator. The lentil soup is absolutely delicious, and the mushroom wrap is amazing. Don't forget to try their original pistachio baklava, and be sure to ask for the complimentary Turkish tea!”
“Laverne's is still relatively new to Portland but it feels like a bar that has been here all along. The drinks are incredible and oh so very well curated not to mention straight up fun (whether you're in the mood for a Midnight at the Oasis or a Frog and Toad). Their rotisserie chicken is elevated and delicious but DO NOT sleep on their amazing beans to chase each bite of chicken. To top it all off the place is outright welcoming based on decor alone, which is only enhanced by the very hospitable staff and crew.
My fiance and I recently used this lovely bar as a backdrop for a wedding photo shoot and their team was so accommodating at allowing us to use their space and even whipping up some tasty mocktails to use as props. Look no further, all ye who seek Portland's best neighborhood bar.”
“New favorite wine spot. As somebody who doesn't know a lot about wine, the opportunity to purchase some stranger and sometimes more limited items by the glass is wonderful. The menu formula encourages guests to talk with others about what they are drinking. I loved the atmosphere and the hosts, this is now without a doubt my favorite PDX wine spot.”
“I wish I'd known about this place sooner! Nice wine selections, delicious snack - the salted rosemary focaccia with tomato jam was terrific! Chanelle and Haru were welcoming hostesses, and the place was a very comfortable place to just hang & enjoy being where I was. I'll definitely be recommending it to friends, and I'm looking forward to my next visit!”
