“It was delicious!!! Rabbit, foie gras, pigs feet, escargot, halibut, eel, scallops, all the fancy sauces….SOOO good!! Every bite was just perfectly executed. The staff was so friendly and engaging which made it really fun to sit at the chef’s counter!”
“Lilia is an absolute gem and my new favorite Portland restaurant. The menu changes weekly based on the freshest ingredients, and every dish bursts with bold flavors and inspiration from across Mexico. The vibe is chill and the staff are sweet and knowledgeable. Music was great (rock en español) and not too loud, so you could have a conversation at your table without yelling (yay!)
We tried the chef’s tasting menu, which included two appetizers (PNW oysters and tomato/melon salad, two large plates (mushroom barbacoa & cheese-filled corn dish and king salmon which was caught that morning) and two desserts (fig pastie and a creamy Asian pear). We also got the carnitas chilaquiles separately—highly recommend. Each dish was beautifully prepared, incredibly tasty, and unforgettable. The wine pairing ($68 per person) was thoughtfully curated and well worth it, and the cocktails were just as impressive.
Can’t wait to go back!!!!”
“From our nine year old: Amazing service and great mocktails! We went during the make your own Gimbap and it was absolutely amazing!!”
“We went for the last week of the summer menu. The restaurant place is converted from an old houses and therefore has very nostalgic interior vibe.
The foods are all very delicious and fairly priced! We especially like the chicken liver tart, the cube-shape Wagyu beef check, and the desserts!”
“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!”

“I’ve now been twice and the food has been excellent both times. The calamari was a highlight for me this trip. My server has been great both times as well. And every thing is very reasonably priced. Will definitely return for a third time!”
“Best Chicken and Beef Shawarma in Oregon”
“Every time we visit we go to Fishwife restaurant. We haven't had a bad dish. Highly recommend”
“Great service , amazing staff. Pizza the best in Portland”
“Amazing place! Waffle was really good, latte was ok. I wouldn’t say it wasn’t tasty, just strong and bitter, which is not my type of coffee. But for sure try Lavender Lemonade! It’s is so tasty”
“Bar food has no business being this good. The reasonably priced full menu and little things like house made ranch have made us regulars, and we love how we can tell who's bartending by the playlist.”
“My son and I ate dinner here on Tuesday evening, 10-01-24. The male waiter was unimpressive, and asked the young lady behind the bar to take us. I was freshly out of surgery and needed to eat something. She quickly moved us to a padded booth when I asked. She was very prompt and very courteous. An absolute sweetheart. She was professional with our orders and accommodating to our particular requests, mine especially, given the circumstances. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the rosemary chicken and a bland salad with cucumbers. The salad tasted fresh. The chicken was perfect. I would give 5 stars, but some of the other patrons seemed judgmental, and I was displeased with the young man who seemed offended by the couple of rural folks in the big city.”
“A taste of Italy in Oregon!!! Best pizza I’ve had!the crust is perfection thin, charred, and airy! I also got the ricotta garlic sauce which was the perfect dip to eat up the crust. Came here with a large group of girls and there was plenty of seating both inside and outdoors. The furniture and little accessories added the perfect touch of comfort. There were literally grape vines all round the patio and we got to slice up our pizza with scissors! Anyway, well worth your money for the quality and quantity!”

“Came in with some friends. They had patience of waiting for the long line but I did not. I just grabbed the pint of honey lavender flavor ice cream in their fridge then went straight to the cashier so I didnt have to wait in line. The ice cream was delicious and one of my favorite flavors, then 2nd would be blue cheese n pear flavor. The atmosphere was clean and the place smells like amazing vanilla scent because of the waffle cones they make there. One of my favorite ice cream places ❤️”
“I was able to take my mom here for her birthday last night. Honestly, maybe one of the best meals I've had in Portland in the last several years. The service staff was excellent. She made some great recommendations and led us to some fantastic seasonal dishes that were about to exit the menu. If you go, you need to try the peach and pancetta pizza - maybe the best pizza I've ever had. Also, the lasagna was incredible. Overall a fantastic place and worth the reservation or wait for a table.”
“Excellent service. The $40 prix fixe was a nice experience and we had plenty of food! The daiquiri Cocktail was so interesting and the restaurant is cozy and lively at the same time.”

“The best!! You won’t be disappointed. Staff are clearly experts and enjoy being there. So much fun energy too! Mind. Blown.”
“Their lamb Shawarma seasoned with, I believe, cardamom and other things, was the most astonishingly delicious meat I've ever eaten in my life. And it's in a very nice part of town!”
“My wife and I come here for special occasions and last night we celebrated her birthday! As always, the service was excellent, food was impeccable, atmosphere was cozy, and a very enjoyable experience. It is a small place which only adds to the intimacy of service and atmosphere. The owner is a great guy who is very knowledgeable in all his dishes and wines which were incredible as well! We love C'est Si Bon and will continue to come here everytime we want to celebrate something at a special place!”

“I absolutely loved the customer service I received. I ordered online and got my sandwich made on time and efficiently. The manager there is a real gem and truly has a heart for their customers! It was early in the morning too, so to receive a smile and positivity in service was really a day maker!!”
“Stopped by to try the queso burger I've been hearing about on the radio! A lady was cleaning but she came over to take my order within a couple minutes. She recommended the strawberry lemonade and it was definitely refreshing. The place was spotless, highly recommended.”
“Beautiful experience. Food and serves always a 10. I love how the restaurant is family owned & have been around for decades!”
“Amazing. The mole is awesome, the fish was so well cooked. The tlayuda was amazing. So sad it’s closing. Every dish just slaps. The drinks are also great takes on a classic. Do not pass on the dessert!”
“One of the best brunch spots in Portland. Everything is high quality, and they even have delicious mocktails! The seasonal veggie hash was a clear winner for us. The fried chicken was so juicy and tender. Highly recommend- come early because it’s crowded and there’s always a line!!”
Takeout Restaurants
“Cozy neighborhood vibes. Had to remind myself it is a bar. Kinda loud, but then again it is a bar. Scored low on service because there is zero table service. You have to keep getting up to order at the bar. Good burger and fries. Trout chips and dip was different but tasty. Overall good experience.”
“If you're searching for the best Haitian restaurant in Portland, look no further than Tap Tap. This vibrant spot isn’t just about incredible Haitian cuisine — it’s a full cultural experience that blends delicious food, stunning Haitian artwork, and energetic nightlife. This is easily one of the best Black-owned restaurants in Portland that offers an authentic taste of Haiti’s rich heritage right in the heart of the city.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by colorful, eye-catching Haitian art that sets a unique, welcoming atmosphere. The menu features traditional Haitian dishes crafted with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, making it a top choice for foodies like myself who are seeking something different and unforgettable.
What truly sets Tap Tap apart is its lively nightlife, especially the Kompa Haitian dancing nights. This energetic music and dance scene invites guests to immerse themselves in Haitian culture while enjoying great food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Whether you’re out for dinner, a night of dancing, or both, Tap Tap is the best place to experience Haitian culture in Portland.
For anyone looking to support Black-owned businesses while enjoying exceptional food and an unforgettable cultural vibe, Tap Tap is hands down the best restaurant in Portland for a genuine Haitian experience.”
“Awesome addition to the Portland coffee scene. Hit up about 5 coffee shops on a trip and sterling was up there along with Sisters. Worker was incredibly helpful and friendly, noticed we were visiting and recommended other coffee shops too. Real inviting space and Kens is just up the street which makes for a killer combo. Before leaving decided to get some beans and worker comp'd me some house beans, such a kind gesture!”
“Absolutely amazing tasty food! We had the tacos and instantly fell in love. I could cry with how good it was. The hosts and staff were so friendly and accommodating all around great atmosphere and learning their story made it all the more heart opening. Thank you so much 🫶🫶🫶🙏”
“Kate’s all vegan and gluten free ice cream is an inclusive dream for many people with dietary restrictions and a sweet tooth 😜 Everyone working there has been accommodating when I’ve asked about other food sensitivities, too, like oat. It’s ridiculously delicious and I recommend the ice cream sandwiches if you can have oats!”
“Everything about this place is phenomenal. The food is so delicious. We tried several things off the menu and couldn’t decide what our favorite was. They were all that good. And the staff are on top of it! Friendly, helpful, and happy. And we had the most sensational cocktails ever! Highly highly highly recommend this place. Great vibe and energy too!”
“Bar staff very friendly and approachable. Drinks are strong - which is good! Wings are so good - comparable to my faves like chemgio and hat yai (same amazing level of flavor and moistness). Would come back!”
“What a great experience. Our party of four was there for brunch. I had apple fritters with side of amazing Hungarian sausage with homemade mustard. - exceptionally good! My wife and daughter had baked pancakes with plums, the other with raisins. Very unique, very good as well. One man runs the whole restaurant from kitchen to table. Loved the experience.”

“Delicious food and considerate service! Each bite was full of amazing flavors that were unusual and yet worked together. The madelines are a must have. The chicken liver toast with pickled strawberries doesn't seem like it should work but it absolutely does. The 'fancy instant coffee' fit the vibe of the restaurant and was surprisingly good. I'll definitely want to return when the menu changes with the season.”
“I learned about this place from a friend who gifted my husband an amazing Tiramisu. I was pleasantly surprised to taste a Tiramisu that actually tasted authentic. Curious, I decided to visit, and I discovered that they make a variety of desserts, including cannoli, which are filled just before you buy them ( finally some place that can do that!)I also tried the cornetto (This should not be confused with a croissant) and the focaccia, and wow! Finally, a focaccia that doesn’t have a lingering taste of acidity. The coffee was good too as the atmosphere and the service. I totally advise this Italian place especially becouse, in my opinion, they can make very Italian taste.”
“This place nails it every time. Service is friendly and efficient. Cocktails are creative and delicious, as you’d expect from a Ninsom operation, his spots always have a great bar setup. Photo here of the prawn curry. Damn was that amazing! Also got the tom yum noodles which ruled.”
“This is one of my favorite places to each lunch, a great place to meet a friend, and the friendliest service you can imagine. I wish more restaurants focused on doing one thing well and being deeply authentic in vibe and presentation. After today's visit I felt compelled to write a review because it sparked true joy. This is a meal that you end up thinking about - sometimes DIRECTLY after eating it. You should probably go - there's bike parking directly outside, and it will be something you enjoy.”

Fine Dining
“Had my second visit to Kaede yesterday and it was just as incredible as the first. The omakase was outstanding — everything fresh, seasonal, and prepared with amazing attention to detail. The space itself is intimate, stylish, and has a quiet, understated elegance. The couple running it are warm and welcoming, with a kind, no-pressure approach that makes the whole experience even better. Truly a gem — I’ll definitely be back.”
“Going to Astera is not just going out for dinner: it is a whole different dining experience that goes beyond food and service. Don't get me wrong: the food is amazing and the service is impeccable! But to reduce a dinner at Astera to only this would not do it justice. The atmosphere is carefully crafted, from the lighting to the music, creating a space not only to eat, but to celebrate the art of cooking. Dining here feels less like a meal and more like a journey, one that lingers in your memory long after the last bite.”
“Didn't have a bad bite and the service was friendly. In the realm of fine dining, Arden offers exceptional value. That's not to say that it's only about price to quality ratio though. They deliver on quality and enjoyment on a more objective level ultimately. My partner and I would both love to return. The Prix Fixe menu was a great choice and I recommend that, but either way you go I'm sure you would enjoy whatever you choose.”
“Mucca Osteria came highly recommended by a friend. The restaurant is indeed elegant and has a very intimate feel to it. The food was incredibly delicious. My family ordered scallops as an appetizer and all of us agreed they were among the best we've ever tasted. Our server Jenny was supremely knowledgeable about each entree and appropriate wine pairing for each of our meals. My son ordered octopus which he enjoyed immensely. The dessert they served as a birthday celebration was especially memorable. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.”
“Amazing food! We did the 7 course option and it turned out wonderful. The staff is sooo super friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Portland. Also holds a special place in my heart since we got engaged there. :)”
“Everything. This is not just going to dinner. This is a dining experience. It’s a small reserved venue. Yes it’s spendy, but worth every penny. You’ll try food you never thought you try. The mostly seafood menu it so well prepared. Plus you can watch the prepared each course. A fun night.”
“This place is amazing. I just got back from London, Mayfair. And I can say for sure that our of the few restaurants I visited there, none would surpass Jenkins in terms of sensation of taste. Breakfast menus out there are top knotch for sure, but Jenkins is definitely better overall than even Hide. And Hide has 1 Michelin star.
Sidenote, the blueberry creme brulee is simply the best I've had. In my entire life.”
“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.”
“I think this may literally be the best pizza I have ever had and I love pizza. Get here early to get in line before they open, but you should definitely check it out if you are looking for great pizza.”

“Houston native, visiting Portland for the second time. Last time we came, we passed by Awafi and didn’t get to try it! This time, we got to chat with Ali, who was very kind and shared that he runs the cart alone, and we finally got to try the kofta and chicken saj. Both were delicious and reflected Iraqi cuisine beautifully. We will be back!”
“We’ve been coming to Wu-Ron’s Ramen for a while now—probably over 20 visits—and it never disappoints. It’s a small, tucked-away spot that we only share with a handful of people because we love being able to stop in and enjoy a fresh, consistently amazing bowl of ramen without the crowd. The quality is always spot on, no matter the day. The waitress always remembers our order, which makes it feel like home, and the cook always greets us with a smile. That kind of warmth and consistency is rare, and it’s one of the many reasons we keep coming back. Wu-Ron’s is one of those hidden gems you want to keep to yourself, but honestly—it’s too good not to recommend!”
“Excellent food and service! A fun pre-Timbers match vibe and the place was hopping!”
“Craving something new we tried Lilla last night and was not disappointed. We were warmly greeted and seated quickly. The tone was set once our server Amanda came over. Asking for recommendations she quickly gave as some choices from all around the menu. We tried the Eggplant Tower, Summer Salad, Carbonara and Potato Leek Pizza. The portions were generous and we loved each of them making it hard to choose a favorite but wanting come back soon to try the other offerings. We finished with the orange olive oil cake and some lattes made by our server. The food was great but Amanda made it such a amazing experience. We will be back.”

“Great choice of seating, excellent food, and prompt, courteous service surpassed several fine dining restaurants I've visited lately. Perfect neighborhood restaurant!”

“I've been eating here since 2015 and ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. Top notch sushi with a wonderful staff. This is my 1st choice place for sushi in Portland Oregon”
“Tusk is great. Especially for a nice date night. The food is exquisite and the service is AMAZING.”
“Have loved the observatory for many years. The cheese platter and fry bread never disappoint!
Wonderful bar in the back to grab some cocktails and enjoy an evening out.”

“This hands down is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland OR. It the same quality of other top spots in the US like Nobu , O-Ya , and Morimoto . The location is perfect located in the Pearl district. The chefs are high quality and the fish is extremely fresh. They have a great but simple flavor approach. The service is warm, helpful, and appreciative. I always ask for Joy as she is a true professional and loves providing an exceptional experience on every visit.”
“The food at Mestizo is fantastic. Great customer service, creative drinks, and as a bonus, everything is gluten and soy free.”

“Food and service are great. They automatically add 20% gratuity to all checks as well as a small employee wellness fee which can be removed at the customer's request. All the good items were delicious with the exception of the Basque cheesecake which did not have the texture of a Basque cheesecake. The flavor and sauce were good, but it was a rather small piece for the $11 or $12 charge. I do recommend. I will go back.”
“This place is not too big, but I was impressed by the food flavor. I got beef golden soup and intestine skewers. Loved both of them, and would definitely come back!”
“The food was fantastic! I had the ganh-jang steak (coulette steak topped with mint butter served with rice over seasonal vegetables) and my husband had the maneul ox-bone soup and both meals were absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the cozy, casual atmosphere and the person who served us was super sweet.”
“Excellent food, comfortable atmosphere. We really enjoyed our dinner and the flavors were marvelous!”
“Food was delicious. The char siu pork was incredible and the chive cakes were the perfect starter. Cool atmosphere and love how the name connects to Bangkok’s Chinatown.”
“Absolutely yes! Loved the space and ambiance. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching them make all the cocktails! Best way to see which one looks like the next drink to try! Great service! Friendly staff!”
“Went here as a early Mother’s Day treat with my daughter. Had the sample plate…. So delicious and we learned we liked it all! Also got a sundae….. totally recommend. For take home I got the cookies. This place is a gem! Stop by and check it out for sure if you are ever in the area.”
“We stumbled upon Otto and Anita’s and were amazed at the great food, service and the extensive menu. We will absolutely go back to try other dishes. Apple strudel to go.”
“The owner is super nice and friendly. I love the decorations. Very warm and inviting. Feels like you are in HaNoi. Food is authentic. Good place to go to for special occasion or hang out with friends.”

“I came for Drag Bingo & had such a fun time! Loved the deviled eggs!!! I will return for more Drag Bingo.
There was this candle burning in the bathroom that smelled so good! I would still like to find out where they got that candle.”
“Feral is the whole package. Classy atmosphere, kind and attentive staff, thoughtful pacing of dishes, beautiful presentation, and inspired flavors. Looking forward to many returns in the months ahead. Bravo!”
“This place is one of a kind. The food was deliciously balanced and nuanced. Every dish we indulged in was so wonderful. It is a charming intimate spot and will be a go to whenever we visit Portland. The staff was also wonderful and so accommodating. Thank you again for the wonderful experience”
“Probably my favorite sushi spot so far in Portland. Lovely service! I got the Poke Don and partner got the Salmon Special, both were delicious and big portions! Definitely more of a home style mom n’ pop rather than most of the “fancier” spots in the city.”
“Elegant setting for a romantic date or a family dinner. Highest quality ingredients, ethically sourced meats, handmade pasta, always a delightful experience.”
“Paul the bartender was amazing! Couldn't decide between the biscuits/gravey and corn beef hash. Ordered 1/2 portions of both, both were good but the biscuits and gravey was amazing. Great services and loved the atmosphere. Free wifi for those needing a works space”
“Fresh, high quality food. My wife LOVED the fried goat cheese and I thoroughly enjoyed every last bite of my speck, even after sharing two appetizers and the autumn salad. Portions were generous. We had a lovely two top next to the outdoor fireplace. Staff was professional and helpful. Only downside is the location right on busy Vaughn, but the outdoor seating is thoughtfully organized to feel warm and secluded.”
“Nicholas’ did a fabulous job providing food for an event I am at. Everything was wonderful!”
“You cannot say anything bad about please place, sorry. They are one of the best kept secrets in Portland.”
“We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and what a treat! Our server was phenomenal and helped us make great choices for amazing food + wine pairings. The chef also accommodated my food allergies with ease. Highly recommend! We plan to return very soon.”

“Akadi PDX was a WHOLE VIBE!!🤩 The service, atmosphere, food and drinks were AMAZING! Our Family felt at home breaking bread together! Thank you, Akadi PDX!!!🤗”
“A little tricky to order a beer. I use the QR to order, the clerk says that didn't receive, I share the receipt, the credit card statement...what adventure just to order a beer 😅.
It worth swinging by inside, order and grab the beer. Good atmosphere at the beer garden, by the way...”
“AMAZING to say the least. The atmosphere, the staff, the food and the music were perfect ✨ I will definitely be back”
“Me and my friend had the Rum Club Daiquiris and we liked them. They ate the Tofu Boca Dushi and said it was delicious and filling. Service was friendly and quick, especially for a Friday night.”
“Appetizers are good but our steaks were way overcooked and took 30 minutes to resolve issues”
“I recently attended an event catered by Kabob and was delighted by the variety and quality of the dishes they provided. The choices I made were all vegetarian, but from the comments I over heard everyone enjoyed their non-vegetarian meals as much as I did my plant based one.”
“This restaurant is like Halloween year-round! A themed restaurant that was definitely worth a visit. Completely decorated to give a spooky feeling. Complimentary themed food menu. Fun cocktails that smoke. Make sure you take a trip to the bathroom to experience the basement. Unfortunately, while our server was extremely friendly, he was also extremely talkative and our meal took a very long time as did getting the bill.”
“Dead shot was an amazing experience. The point of the pallet is to set the tone and let the masters decide your fate. You won't be disappointed, humbled and ready for my next visit.”
“ah I finally figured out how to do a review. loved this place. Great entertainment with mystery and comedy. Good food, and great interactions with staff and other dinner goers. 5 starts for me and I will def be back.”

“My husband and I ate at Palomar Recently and really enjoyed the ambiance The service and the food. We will make it a point to go again soon and I really look forward to it.”
“As soon as you walk up to this location, you instantly smell the most delicious aroma! The outdoor and indoor space is gorgeous and the cocktail side is equally as cool! With a record player DJ booth... I mean, it doesn't get any better! If you want to try the most delectable menu items, I would suggest Fried chicken, mushroom noodles, tea leaf salad, pork ribs, mango chile margarita, the big dumpling and literally everything else on the menu! This is a Portland cuisine treasure! You and your family will not be disappointed.”
“Wholesome food, friendly service, tidy and relaxed atmosphere. Expensive for what you get.
I had the souvlaki sticks.
. These were good, but pretty basic. If you want a variety of grilled veggies that have no frills, this is for you. There's not much for additional flavor. All of it was good, just not great: broccoli, cauliflower, a couple black olives, brussel sprouts, one jalapeno, one potato, pickled onions (my favorite!). For the price, I think the portion size should be quite a bit bigger.
. This was excellent. Rich in flavor. Cooked perfectly. Paired well with the pickled onions from the veggie skewer, and also with the purple cabbage that it comes with. Again, I think this is expensive for the portion size.
These two things together were not enough of a meal for a hungry guy.”
“I can't stop thinking about the celery salad and the warm olives”
“Went here for dinner with the family and it was wonderful! Great margaritas, service, and food ❤️ What a gem this place is! Thank you so much for a great experience, we will definitely be back.”
“what a lovely find in Portland! great pourover and fantastic breakfast!!”

Really!. Bravo, I never write any kind of reviews in the possitive, I'm old, so I bitch alot. HAHA; But this place so worth the time, the price and contributing to a small family business. Which I totlally look for in any area I visit. I totally believe in supporting family owned local businesses...not the big Guys! Bravo Midpoint. If I lived in the area you'd know me by name as a regular! God Bless. And hope this will inspire the owner into marketing her Green Monster Sauce. One of the best out there. “Shelby was lovely as well as wonderful in providing the best customer experience the entire evening to our group of out of towners as we have attended al the bars up and down the strip. Shelby is rare in your line of business and should be highly praised as an employee!”
“I have read some of the trashy comments in the 1 and 2 star reviews. Most of the lambasting comments I find fault. Are they as fresh as Mizumi in Tigard, probably not, but neither are 99% of the restaurants in Portland metro. I find the seasoning quite authentic. I find the food variety unmatched in Portland. I would love some of their recipes! The ***clown that faulted them for selling produce and other fare near the check out, obviously have never been to a Chinatown or to China. The trolling is totally uncalled for. This is a nice, appearing to be, a family operation with love and care put into the restaurant. We frequent this location and do not find any of those horrible comments to have any truth.”
“I've. eaten all over Southeast Asia including street amrt I've eaten at many Southeast Asian restaurants, including in Cambodia, Malaysia and Laos, and can unequivocally say this is one of the best meals I've ever had. Starters to dessert, the food was unique, inspired and full of multiple flavors. Bravo and five stars!”
“I was introduced to Bridge City a couple months ago by a friend who raved about their menu variety, quality of food, and the service. Walking into the restaurant was much more appealing than I had imagined. Meaning that it's a good balance of sports bar and family restaurant. Natural light from the north, west, and east windows enhances the vibe; and the interior isn't plastered by sports memorabilia. I also appreciate that I didn't have to raise my voice to talk over the media volume. The staff are friendly, attentive, relaxed, and welcoming. Most of all, the menu offers a long variety of fabulous options. Something for everyone. The first visit, I was blown away by their Californian Grilled Chicken Sandwich. (My eyeballs rolled back in my head as I savored the in credible flavors.) The second visit, I had the Strawberry Chicken Salad: a generous portion that I happily polished in entirety...down to the last tiny piece of candied walnut. Their alcoholic beverage menu offers a long list of specially selected NW brews, craftt ciders, and more. The prices are very reasonable for the exceptional quality, creativity, and service that blows away other restaurants in the sports bar/family restaurant category in the area. I am looking forward to trying their brunch menu to celebrate my upcoming birthday. I'd love to see the property owner spruce up the exterior's landscaping and a bit of a facelift to attract attention and draw in more customers. So, get y'er buns in there and give Bridge City a try! You'll be very happy that you did.”
“Loved the variety. Great sushi selection. Free drinks. You don’t see that anymore. Your used dishes are quickly removed. When in Portland this is our choice. We tried the Chinese Super Buffet but the majority of the food was Luke warm. Give this a try. You won’t be disappointed.”
“I know, nobody is perfect BUT our experience was perfect in every way. From our greeting at the bar as we arrived to our exit. The burger and fries were perfect as was the beer on tap. If we had not stopped at another place earlier for Burger Week, we would have stayed longer and drank more. Sad Valley is our new favorite place in the neighborhood. Such an original & creative theme for a bar. Love the decor, the original art is spot on. You either get it or you don't. Sadly I did not have a fabulous cocktail, but looking forward to it on my return.”

“😍 delicious at best !!!”
“I had a memorable dinner at Higgins Restaurant. I ordered their Oregon Mushroom Set Menu, and each dish reflected their respect for local ingredients. The wild mushroom bisque was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and rich aroma. The waiter was very professional and attentive, explaining the background of each dish. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.”
“One of the best brunch spots in Portland. Everything is high quality, and they even have delicious mocktails! The seasonal veggie hash was a clear winner for us. The fried chicken was so juicy and tender. Highly recommend- come early because it’s crowded and there’s always a line!!”
“I got airsickness post a long flight, so sick even water was hard for me for a while. This place's Phó Ga (chicken) is literally medicine for the soul, stomach and tastebuds. I cannot recommend them highly enough! p.s. uber eats does 50% off deals sometimes and you can get 2 "orders" (almost 4 meals worth) of phó delivered for under $40 including tip if youre on the vicinity and the quality is unparalleled to places I've been to in NY.”
“We went here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Restaurant is not as noisy as many thanks to the high roof above the inside courtyard. Seating was weird (very low relative to the table top) but the food was excellent. We had the 14 oz grain fed NY and the 18oz grain fed Ribeye both medium rare done to perfection. Sadly the aged steak was unavailable. Potatoes were good but were superfluous because the mushroom side dish would have been enough. I had the tomato soup starter and my wife had the marrow. Both were perfect. Wife's desert was complimentary - chocolate mouse with trimmings. Delicious. We brought our own wine worth about $60. Their wine list is mostly high end but their corkage of $35 still gave us a better option than a wine off their list at a comparable price. Service was good although our food did take a bit longer than expected.”

“Came here to celebrate my friends recent promotion. Place is very cozy and eclectic in a great way. Lovely wine selection, plenty of options without being overwhelming. Champagne list was great and reasonably priced. Staff was lovely. Very friendly and welcoming.Kept our champagne chilled for us and made sure our glasses were never empty. Will definitely be back!”
“where to start, we are big good truck goers. A family of 5. makes it great when everyone can get what they want. This place is beautiful, they had a handful of trucks (more coming) but the options were definitely a mix. Something for everyone for sure. The Cuban food truck is a 10/10 highly recommend! The Cuban sandwich was the best sandwich ive had in a long time. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. My husband and kids had burgers, corn dogs, and chicken strips. The burgers were huge. super great flavor, (adding lamb burgers to the menu soon) super excited to come back to try those. Lets talk drinks, I like a good spicy cocktail, however most "full bars" offer Tabasco to spice up my drink. I hate that. I prefer a spicy tequila or a muddled jalepeno. This place has bitters. This was hands down the best spicy margarita (the house margarita with spicy bitters) that I have had since I've been out here. They have have a changing station in the bathroom. a pinball room, and a kids toys section. For families like us, little kids, picky eater, the FULL bar. This is by far the best food truck place we have went to.”
“A favorite Portland coffee shop. Unpretentious, non-trendy, super kind staff, incredible baristas (the milk is like a microfoam velvet cloud).
The seating room is so cozy and feels private, a great place to work or hang out with friends. They have padded booths, not wonky wooden tables with no space - actual diner booths!
If anyone has read Before the Coffee Gets Cold, this is how I imagine the basement cafe.”
“Paid Face Plant a visit after hearing many good things from friends. I’ll preface by saying I’m not vegan or vegetarian but was down to give the concept a try.
It’s in a bit of an odd part of town which I was surprised by but it’s a lovely little corner they have. We wound up going in to order vs doing a drive through but it looks as though they could accommodate a large amount of volume. The inside atmosphere is simple but clean with nice branding. Feels classic and timeless.
Food wise went with the standard combo meal with a strawberry shake and a small side of nuggies. The burger as someone who typically eats meat was definitely the closest vegan equivalent I have had. Even the cheese which I usually avoid was pretty solid. It was hearty and tasty. The fries were also good and the shake was a big time standout. Not sure what vegan equivalent they use but the shake was rich and thiccc. Couldn’t have told you it was vegan.
Service was solid and they brought the food to our table which was nice. I can imagine that with a large group or a busy time it could get backed up a bit, but we found it alright. There’s ample parking in the parking lot for guests looking to dine in.”
“I wish I'd known about this place sooner! Nice wine selections, delicious snack - the salted rosemary focaccia with tomato jam was terrific! Chanelle and Haru were welcoming hostesses, and the place was a very comfortable place to just hang & enjoy being where I was. I'll definitely be recommending it to friends, and I'm looking forward to my next visit!”

“The best pizza I’ve had in Portland. They sat 4 of us at the bar, two adults and two kids. Our kids loved watching the pizza being made. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The dough was perfect.”
