“A true gem... cozy, intimate vibe, beautifully curated wine list, and unforgettable standouts like the duck with sweet peppadews, the radicchio salad with persimmon and pears, and the whiskey ice cream with honeycomb. Absolutely loved it.”
“Great date night! We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here last night and every single thing we ordered was excellent. The wine/bubbles list is impressive also.”
“Phenomenal food. Great ambience. Incredible team. Inspiring story starting with chef Juan that expands into locally-sourced food, seasonality, and supporting women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ producers. As a solo traveler, the warmth and family-like atmosphere made this experience memorable.
It's also not as common to find a tasting menu inspired by Mexican roots, but this was one of the best meals I've enjoyed on the west coast. If you think lobster and mole won't work, you're missing out. Highly recommend!”
“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!”

“It was delicious!!! Rabbit, foie gras, pigs feet, escargot, halibut, eel, scallops, all the fancy sauces….SOOO good!! Every bite was just perfectly executed. The staff was so friendly and engaging which made it really fun to sit at the chef’s counter!”

“We hosted a private dinner at Eleni's and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and the staff was amazing! They were easy to work with when planning the dinner and accommodated all of our dietary restrictions. We had a lovely time and would definitely return again!”
“Every time we visit we go to Fishwife restaurant. We haven't had a bad dish. Highly recommend”
“My friend Amy owns this sweet little spot, and I absolutely love it here. The waffle with eggs and bacon is always delicious, and their Mexican mocha is my favorite, warm, rich, and perfectly spiced. Such a cozy and welcoming place to start the day. Highly recommend!”
“Great service , amazing staff. Pizza the best in Portland”
“I must say this establishment has come a long way. Great staff. Amazing service. Best breakfast in st johns hands down. Favorite karaoke spot on the weekends as well..”
“Grabbed a Star Burger and with fries it came out to around $14, which was a great deal considering that the burger was really good! The service was good and the food arrived quickly. Totally worth it! I don't drink, but the burgers are awesome and the music they were playing had a good variety to it. The bathroom is crazy! Full of creative, funny and absurd art stickers and graffiti which is a cool vibe. Loved this place and I would happily go back for the food before catching some live music nearby.”
“My son and I ate dinner here on Tuesday evening, 10-01-24. The male waiter was unimpressive, and asked the young lady behind the bar to take us. I was freshly out of surgery and needed to eat something. She quickly moved us to a padded booth when I asked. She was very prompt and very courteous. An absolute sweetheart. She was professional with our orders and accommodating to our particular requests, mine especially, given the circumstances. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the rosemary chicken and a bland salad with cucumbers. The salad tasted fresh. The chicken was perfect. I would give 5 stars, but some of the other patrons seemed judgmental, and I was displeased with the young man who seemed offended by the couple of rural folks in the big city.”
“Dinner was amazing. Staff was amazing. just AMAZING. My son took me as a surprise while visiting him from FL. Thank you for making this moment for us. 5 star!”
“Food was great, a little expensive for the amount of food but good quality. Atmosphere and services were great too! It gets busy so I would recommend making a reservation”

“WOW! A reasonably priced fine dining experience (all vegan!🌱)!
The portions were generous!
Had the PB+J cabbage- sounds weird but is so tasty! The risotto was warm and savory and the cured carrots in it were so so good! Got both pasta dishes - the parsnip carbonara and the wheat berry sausage agnolotti- both were divine!
The lighting was warm and dim. The decor is dark and moody and beautiful.”
“Stellar ambience and amazing food. Ordered the small breakfast - eggs, bacon, toast, and potato wedges and it was all so, so good. The portion was perfectly filling. Staff was friendly and provided impeccable service. Surprisingly uncrowded for a Saturday afternoon. I loved the art on the walls and the playlist (mostly 90’s music).”
“The food, the cocktails are great along with the staff. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.”

“Super cool spot! 10/10 will definitely be back! Had good service and the cook did well!
We got the Hawaiian burger 10/10, steak house burger 7/10 was a good burger but lacked flavor, Mango habanero wings 10/10, mushroom & Swiss /sub pepper jack for swiss burger 10/10, cowboy +add grilled Jalapeños burger 10/10,
Shakes: Pistachio, coconut, cheesecake 10/10
Mango, pineapple, prickly pear shake 10/10
Huckleberry raspberry crunchberry shake10/10
Strawberry poppers 11/10 would recommend and will be back”
“Very well made food. The fries were hot and crispy. it came with the right amount of salt and ketchup packets. The drive through staff was nice and friendly and I did not have to wait long for the fresh chicken patty yum. The only thing was the trash people left around the building made it kinda displeasing.”
“Everything everywhere is over the head expensive including this place but since everything is that was my only complaint about Carl's Jr and Hardee's is that it's expensive otherwise my opinion is the best tasting fast food customer service is just what you would expect and on this visit service was excellent people were friendly and I had no issues”
“This is the cleanest fast food restaurant on 82nd I've seen. Bathrooms are very clean, including parking lot. A lot of homeless people hang around out side due to the bus stop being right on the side walk near the building but had no issues with them. The service has been the fastest I've seen in a while less then 5 minutes after Ordering. Even when asked to site out front to wait for meal. Great place love their Oreo large shakes they have now they really hook it up. And the plus side is the drive thru is open 24 hours witch is great for that late night munchies.”
“The food is a great value - especially for how quick the service is!
We do wish the enchiladas were more cooked; we mentioned it and they seemed to know right away we wanted them more warmed up, but the cheese was still not quite melted.
A minute in the microwave at home finished it of super well!”
“Delicious & immaculately presented, robust drink menu and Tapas done right 😋”
“This is one of my favorite places to eat downtown. Staff knows the menu so well. And is kind to make sure everything they prepare meets your dietary needs. Drinks are wonderful. And while the main dining room is great the bar behind the restaurant is a good hack with the same menu on a busy night.”
Takeout Restaurants
“The best North Indian we have had in USA. Food was cooked to suit my high spice level tolerance and 0 spice level for my kids. We had the yummiest dal and butter chicken with garlic naan. Food was excellent but service was even better. My 4 year old wanted plain roti which was not even on the menu. But the owner is such a kind soul that he specially got flour kneaded for him and didn't even let us pay for it.”
“We have tried Salt&Straw at various locations and states. Very consistent across it all.
Open concept design. Benches against giant windows to feel the breeze (it was a hot day). I’m sure wintertime they shut it tight. Bathroom inside (need a code).
The staff were very patient and friendly. You can ask as many samples as you want. Even if there’s a line, it usually move fast. Creamy, strong flavor, good quality ice cream.
The menu has interesting options. Even though we have been to many locations, we still haven’t tried them all. There are tubs and merchandises on display if you like a souvenir.”
“Been waiting to try this place FOREVER and was blown away by the food. Snow cheese drumsticks were perfect. Gochujang drumsticks almost as perfect, really nice crunch and tangy coating. Lots of attention to detail with the pickles and shredded greens on the side. Honestly though any place that hands you food service plastic gloves to eat your meal with is a win in my book, oh and our toddler loved it too! Bonus was reheating the chicken in our oven at home and broiling the snow cheese at the end. Got some crazy char and unlocked many new bonus levels of flavor. Oh and and gluten free items clearly marked with no reactions to any of the foods. Bangin!”
“I had one of the most sumptuous dinners here. As I watched the chef prepare our meals, I was amazed to see the precision they use to give each dish the perfect taste, color, and temperature. I simply loved the wonderful flavors of the freshly made pasta and the recommended wine pairing. I loved the food and the entire experience. I hope the management franchises this restaurant to more cities!”

“Absolutely amazing tasty food! We had the tacos and instantly fell in love. I could cry with how good it was. The hosts and staff were so friendly and accommodating all around great atmosphere and learning their story made it all the more heart opening. Thank you so much 🫶🫶🫶🙏”
“Great restaurant, we go everytime we are in Portland. Great food, great ambience and wonderful staff. Plus an outstanding butcher shop”

“After visiting several bars and restaurants across the country and Portland (specifically) it’s impressive to see a spot that cares deeply about the atmosphere, service and menu.
I’ve been here twice and each time have been very impressed by how hospitable the bartenders are.
Josh is a standout and clearly cares about his team and customers.
Overall, 10/10. This is the kind of spot that Portland NEEDS.”

“Fantastic food! Delicious!! I absolutely love the food here”
“Pizza was great. Salads were amazing. The roasted kale was unbelievable!! We had two orders for our party of 6. Creative cocktails. service felt busy and impatient and not very attentive after ordering. Otherwise, a great place.”
Fine Dining
“Visiting the Multnomah Whiskey Library was truly a memorable and indulgent experience. The atmosphere was refined yet welcoming, making it an exceptional setting to explore a curated selection of fine spirits. Our drink valet, Scott, was knowledgeable, attentive, and thoughtfully guided us through a selection of whiskies that perfectly suited our preferences. His recommendations were both insightful and well-considered, elevating the overall experience. The whiskies were expertly paired with a charcuterie board, which complemented the flavors beautifully and added an extra layer of enjoyment. Altogether, it was a sophisticated and thoroughly enjoyable visit that I would highly recommend.”
“The exquisite food the excellent service and the beautifully designed interior made this considerably more than just a meal. Our dinner at Astera was truly a memorable experience among the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. My three dining companions wholeheartedly agreed with this assessment. If you can get a table, just do it. You will not be disappointed. Hats off to chef Aaron and Montana, who led the extra extraordinary front of the house team. Updated from previous review on 2026-05-02”
“Langbaan is a fantastic, special-occasion destination. The tasting menu, accompanied by wine pairings, made for a memorable evening. We were lucky enough to get counter seating for our reservation, so we got to watch both the activity in the kitchen, and the team that was plating all the courses on the other side of the the counter where we sat.
The variety and creativity were spectacular. One example was a dish that looked like Pad Thai, but the 'noodles' were made from sliced squid. Each of the 12 items in the 5 total courses were described in great detail as they were being served.
Portion size ranged from exquisite small bites to bordering on entree sizes. All in all, everything added up to a perfect amount of food for the evening. I was pleasantly surprised by being able to get a reservation on relatively short notice, so if you've been considering the Langbaan experience, don't be discouraged by reports of how much lead time it can take to get a table.”
“One of the greatest joys in visiting Portland for the first time is having excellent food and outstanding service; this place definitely deserves above 5 star rating and I’m grateful for the excellent service and food quality here . Connor was literally one of the best servers ever. Very professional, providing great hospitality and handsome for sure”
“Everything. This is not just going to dinner. This is a dining experience. It’s a small reserved venue. Yes it’s spendy, but worth every penny. You’ll try food you never thought you try. The mostly seafood menu it so well prepared. Plus you can watch the prepared each course. A fun night.”
Cheap Eats
“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! Thank you!”
“Tusk is great. Especially for a nice date night. The food is exquisite and the service is AMAZING.”
“Great atmosphere, good vibe and good music. Our waitress was very helpful, very knowledgeable and all around great. Especially for working on Christmas eve, she had a great attitude. Definitely recommend!”
“Good Food, Great Atmosphere and the serving staff were very friendly and welcoming, I very pleasant dining experience from start to finish.”
“The Mediterranean pizza was delish. It just happened to hit the spot for me. I will definitely go there again and highly recommend it.”
“Per the usual - food, service, atmosphere for dinner tonight was beyond exceptional! Our server - Chad - was perfect! Thank you for another wonderful dinner.”

“Oh my gosh. Such a delicious meal! I got the combination plate and the schnitzel was so flavorful. I've heard good things about the dill soup and it did not disappoint! We finished our meal with eclairs to go.
My boyfriend and I both agreed it'll be hard to try something new because we both loved what we got! Can't wait to back!”
“We hit this spot for brunch on a Sunday. It's VERY popular, but the place is huge so we didn't wait long at all. One of the nicest servers we've had in ages. They wear hilarious shirts that say things inappropriate for this review. :) It's one of those places where if it sounds good it probably is. Big menu. Fun origin story. Can highly recommend.”

“My wife and I come here for special occasions and last night we celebrated her birthday! As always, the service was excellent, food was impeccable, atmosphere was cozy, and a very enjoyable experience. It is a small place which only adds to the intimacy of service and atmosphere. The owner is a great guy who is very knowledgeable in all his dishes and wines which were incredible as well! We love C'est Si Bon and will continue to come here everytime we want to celebrate something at a special place!”
“One of the best brunch spots in Portland. Everything is high quality, and they even have delicious mocktails! The seasonal veggie hash was a clear winner for us. The fried chicken was so juicy and tender. Highly recommend- come early because it’s crowded and there’s always a line!!”
“Excellent! Fast, friendly service and absolutely delicious food. We had the tempura udon and curry plate. We also enjoyed the sake flight. Cannot wait to go back.”
“Stellar ambience and amazing food. Ordered the small breakfast - eggs, bacon, toast, and potato wedges and it was all so, so good. The portion was perfectly filling. “Everything about this place is phenomenal. The food is so delicious. We tried several things off the menu and couldn’t decide what our favorite was. They were all that good. And the staff are on top of it! Friendly, helpful, and happy. And we had the most sensational cocktails ever! Highly highly highly recommend this place. Great vibe and energy too!”
“If you're searching for the best Haitian restaurant in Portland, look no further than Tap Tap. This vibrant spot isn’t just about incredible Haitian cuisine — it’s a full cultural experience that blends delicious food, stunning Haitian artwork, and energetic nightlife. This is easily one of the best Black-owned restaurants in Portland that offers an authentic taste of Haiti’s rich heritage right in the heart of the city.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by colorful, eye-catching Haitian art that sets a unique, welcoming atmosphere. The menu features traditional Haitian dishes crafted with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, making it a top choice for foodies like myself who are seeking something different and unforgettable.
What truly sets Tap Tap apart is its lively nightlife, especially the Kompa Haitian dancing nights. This energetic music and dance scene invites guests to immerse themselves in Haitian culture while enjoying great food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Whether you’re out for dinner, a night of dancing, or both, Tap Tap is the best place to experience Haitian culture in Portland.
For anyone looking to support Black-owned businesses while enjoying exceptional food and an unforgettable cultural vibe, Tap Tap is hands down the best restaurant in Portland for a genuine Haitian experience.”
“All of the menu items were unique. We went and tried some of the lunch specials and the food was pretty good. I loved the cauliflower with the house made curry sauce. The coffee was way too sweet though. Can’t wait to revisit! Updated from previous review on 2026-04-09”
“I recommend this restaurant, I'm coming from Seattle WA with my family and we went to eat there, very good food, good customer service, everything clean. I invite you to visit them, you will love it.”
“My husband and I ate at Palomar Recently and really enjoyed the ambiance The service and the food. We will make it a point to go again soon and I really look forward to it.”
“First time ever having this kind of food and it was phenomenal. The service is top notch. The drinks were amazing. Everything was so well prepared! I highly recommend coming with a group to share everything. It was such a great experience. Will definitely be back.”
“First time was fabulous; food, wine, vibe and people were top-notch. The second time not so much. I was pretty disappointed to receive a $3 “discount” after not being able to eat the way too salty lamb ribs. Just left a bad taste and vibe for me as a neighbor and someone who could have been an enthusiastic regular. I have very rarely sent back food… but as a prior food biz owner myself, if a reasonable and polite customer ever had a disappointing experience with anything, I’d always give a full refund and encourage them to try us again. It’s just good business practice IMHO.”
“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.”
“Amazing holiday dinner experience! This dinner from start to finish, along with the wonderful service, is one of the best dinner experiences we have had in a while! Relay impressed.”
“couldn't have asked for a better meal. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations, and our server Bodie provided some of the best service we have ever had, anywhere.”
“Love the experience, food is excellent. Chrysanthemum greens were a little tough, put all the flavors are there. Smart hospitality people throughout... Professional, efficient and friendly.
I'm a whole plant-based eater and had a great day however I wouldn't consider it the most healthy since I don't eat fried foods and use sugar or much oil.
For going out it's really 5 stars... I love good food and restaurants that are passionate about what they do, not just making money. This hits all cylinders.”
“Ate here for our anniversary. Was our first time and we will definitely be back. Great food, service was top notch, and a pleasant dining atmosphere. Give it try you won't be disappointed.”
“Friendly staff, good food and portions, great long time neighborhood restaurant!”
“Honestly, best tasting experience I've ever had! And amazing service! Thanks so much!”
“Four stars. Delicious food and drinks, vibes are good! My only critique is that it can take a while to get the food, and they seem almost indifferent about your experience.”
“We walked right in and were seated immediately on a Friday night. Enjoyed the ice cream specials and wine! Everything was perfect!!”
“I live in the Roseway Neighborhood, I have lived here for 14 years, and have loved every year. This Year, I am excited as many new dining options have appeared, and they are good. Parallel Food and Drink, is one of the best. I have been 4 times now, and am already looking forward to my next visit. The team is amazing, the wine is amazing, the food is amazing, and did I say the team is amazing? Run, don't walk, you won't regret a moment spent here.”
“I cannot say enough good things about Lilla this place is absolutely phenomenal! The fact that it's an all vegan Italian restaurant that has delicious food would be enough but they also have a TON of gluten free options. The food truly was amazing. The kicker was the services our server Abbey was literally a dream, she made the whole experience an absolute delight. She even drew our seating neighbors daughter a coloring page on the spot (it was so good too). This is a new favorite I can recommend this place enough you HAVE to try it, even if you are not Vegan, trust me. I had the mushroom risotto and I highly recommend the Crocchè di Patate(GF). The drinks are also amazing. Ask Abbey for a homemade sprite (you won't regret it)”
“We had the ginger salad and mushroom noodles, and both were packed with amazing flavor. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the servers were so friendly and attentive too. Definitely a spot I’d keep coming back to if I lived in Portland!”
“Went here for dinner with the family and it was wonderful! Great margaritas, service, and food ❤️ What a gem this place is! Thank you so much for a great experience, we will definitely be back.”
“I can't stop thinking about the celery salad and the warm olives”
“Food tasted very fresh and the flavors were wonderful. They have a dispenser on the tables with mixed spices (not spicy), and one with spicy contents. I used the non-spicy powder on my Chow Mein and I was loving the flavor combinations. They also used this powder on our king oyster mushroom BBQ skewers. I think what stood out most to me was the menu variety. I admittedly couldn’t order most items because of dietary restrictions and the large amount of spicy foods, but I still love to see so many uncommon options.”
“Elegant setting for a romantic date or a family dinner. Highest quality ingredients, ethically sourced meats, handmade pasta, always a delightful experience.”

“Conveyor belt-sushi is the best! I love watching the colorful food wander by at pace, picking and choosing an item or two every now and then. Super mellow and fun. Can be busy at lunch but if you are alone it's usually easy to find a spot at at the 'bar'.”
“The service was amazing.
It is a cute little shop with comfortable seating but the layout is chaotic making it a bit uncomfortable when people touch you and ask you to move or get up so they can get by.
The food was very well thought out. We had the duck. It is okay to eat undercooked cooked duck breast but not wings or legs. Our duck was unfortunately undercooked and we did not finish it.
The drinks and deserts are awesome! I loved the Nobb Creek ice cream. It was perfect 👌”
“Al Amir has been a family favorite for years. The owners know my parents, and our family are fairly regular. I honestly believe Al Amir is the absolute best Lebanese food in Portland. My husband and I just had them Cater our 10th wedding anniversary party, and everyone raves about the food. They were super generous with helping navigate our event. Please consider supporting this restaurant in catering your next event! Al Amir, much love to you all and I hope and pray your restaurant has great success, we look forward to ordering from you again. 🤟🏻🥰”
“Amazing atmosphere and food. I had the Red Ferrari, and the mocktail was excellent. The Italian charcuterie board was phenomenal, and the rockfish sandwich was absolutely mind-blowing!”
“We got the tasting menu and every course was delicious. The bacon was the standout favorite, but we loved everything. It was my husband's birthday and they brought him a scoop of cardamom ice cream with a candle in it, and that was fantastic too. How do you make mugwort whipped cream? I don't know, but that was amazing too. Excellent service, wonderful cocktails. We'll definitely be back.”
“This place has the best Texas style brisket of any bbq place I have tried in PDX. A great find!!”
“This hands down is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland OR. It the same quality of other top spots in the US like Nobu , O-Ya , and Morimoto . The location is perfect located in the Pearl district. The chefs are high quality and the fish is extremely fresh. They have a great but simple flavor approach. The service is warm, helpful, and appreciative. I always ask for Joy as she is a true professional and loves providing an exceptional experience on every visit.”
“Must try If you’re anywhere in Portland. The place was beautiful and spotless. The Cleanliness alone is enough to stop. The food itself blew all my expectations out of the water. The focus on high-quality ingredients really shows. The proteins We’re tender and cooked to perfection. Staff was helpful and friendly. A new addition to my all-time favorite restaurants.”
“Have loved the observatory for many years. The cheese platter and fry bread never disappoint!
Wonderful bar in the back to grab some cocktails and enjoy an evening out.”
“Love this place - even when busy the staff is super friendly and the food is so consistent. Ordering take out is super easy and reliably on time! The garlic tonkatsu ramen is great as is the shoyu. The spicy miso paste is awesome! Love the marinated eggs too - always the same perfect jammy texture.”
“This is my favorite restaurant in Portland. I finally went into the restaurant after hearing about it for so long and every single time I’ve been here, I’ve had the most exquisite food with ample portions and the most satiating flavors of Italian food and wine that you could get in Portland. It is comfort food at its finest with the best local ingredients and everything is off The chart delicious. I’ve had the pizza, I’ve had pasta, and I’ve had steak twice. Everything is delicious and I can’t get enough of it. The decanting of the wine, the sides to the bread with olives and oil/vinegar. Every single thing I eat, seems to be at the highest level of ingredients with a lot of attention to detail put into everything. The vibe of the place with the uplifting atmosphere, the decor and the righteously amazing vibes of Chrissie the head bartender…makes me keep coming back for birthdays and special occasions. I actually don’t eat out very much with fast food or takeout because I save my money for this place. I can spend $20 at Taco Bell or I could spend $20 here and usually go home very full with leftovers. Chrissie can make the most delicious concoctions and she literally looks like she’s creating something magical when she comes up with something new. Her cocktails are on point yet she’s always innovating her craft. Attention to detail for every single drink. The best recommendations for what they have that night. She informed me that they bake their bread fresh every day. Foods are sourced locally and every single dish makes me want more. I’m trying to get some variety in what I order yet. The steak does it for me every time. The pizza is the best I’ve had in town and sooooo good. I’m very picky about pizza as it’s my favorite food yet this crust and the delicious cheese and greens and everything they put into their pizza is so tasty. The flavor of every single thing I have eaten makes me want to have it again and again and again. If the Italians that I know in my community, make this a regular spot, then I also know it’s good! It’s authentic righteously on point delicious food every single time I go. All my people come with me to this restaurant for special occasions. Do yourself a favor and visit Cibo! If somebody’s coming in from out of town… Take them to Cibo! To celebrate my children’s accomplishments, I take them to Cibo! I already have two reservation reservations for the first week of January and I went there last night. It’s this good! A lot of people post pictures of the food there and I’ve had every dish that I’ve seen online… But what means the most to me about this place is the whole experience of bringing My special people here to experience, uplifting vibes, delicious and exquisite food, the most incredible drinks, and an atmosphere that takes us out of our daily life and gives us such joy and pleasure to experience. Seriously. Just eat here once and you’ll know.”
“family friendly and a beautiful environment ❤️ Just love this place”

“I'm giving this restaurant a 5-star rating because they try so hard to please everyone and you know how hard that is to do. The service was good even a little understaffed the night we went. They tried their best to keep a hundred people happy and fed. The food is ample and very affordable for a 5-course meal of soup, salad, bastilla, entree, dessert, and sweet tea. It's a Portland iconic experience everyone would love. Is it perfect? Maybe, not for tall Americans with long legs sitting on little cushion tuffs, but it's a true Moroccan slice of life for us who enjoy different cuisines and atmospheres while dining. It's a very popular place requiring reservations. People want to linger, so the turn-over is probably unpredictable. Come chill. Come and enjoy a good meal and a beautiful belly dancer as cultural entertainment. Long may the restaurant enchant our city!”
“We love the vibe on 23rd avenue and stopped in for lunch. All but myself ordered appetizers to share. The bacon wrapped jalapenos were awesome as were the other ones I tried, but my enchiladas were a big disappointment. The flavor was unlike any other I have eaten, and disagreeable to me. The Mexican rice was crispy and crunchy also with an odd flavor, and the black beans were mediocre. All in all, my choice was a bust. The service was good, and liked the decor, so I would probably give it another chance, but I won't be ordering the enchiladas!”
“So glad we found this restaurant, It is very small and parking is dicey but well worth it. The food is delicious and the wait staff is welcoming and friendly. The owner and chef came out to see how we enjoyed our meal. You must try to carmal custard. Will come again!”
“I really enjoy working from Ovation Coffee because it has a welcoming atmosphere, great coffee, and the perfect balance of energy and focus. As a local realtor, it’s an ideal spot to bring my laptop, stay productive, and even connect with people in the community while getting work done.”
“This place has a great selection of vegan and vegetarian comfort food, as well as gluten free options. The staff is friendly and it has beautiful light. It would nice to have more protein and less carbohydrates. The drinks are overly sweet and it’s hard to find a meal with a decent amount of protein.”
“We met some friends for dinner after not seeing them for some time. Kasia was our waitress. She was a delight. We stayed longer than normal, catching up with friends. She did a great job never saying its time for you to leave. Didn't interupt our dinner, just kept everything coming like it should”

“One of the best brunch spots in Portland. Everything is high quality, and they even have delicious mocktails! The seasonal veggie hash was a clear winner for us. The fried chicken was so juicy and tender. Highly recommend- come early because it’s crowded and there’s always a line!!”
“I had a memorable dinner at Higgins Restaurant. I ordered their Oregon Mushroom Set Menu, and each dish reflected their respect for local ingredients. The wild mushroom bisque was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and rich aroma. The waiter was very professional and attentive, explaining the background of each dish. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.”

“We've been to Bar Nouveau twice. Loved the welcome cocktail, such a nice touch! The food was fantastic, with their veggies and chicken liver mousse as our favorites! Amazing date spot, leave the kids at home please!
Great music, decor, and even the bathroom is great!”
“I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for about a year now, and it’s definitely become one of my go-to spots. At first, I was a little skeptical about their signature drink, the mole mocha—but after trying it, I was pleasantly surprised. It has such a unique flavor, and they balance it really well. It’s now one of my favorites.
The atmosphere is another reason I keep coming back. It has a cozy, relaxed vibe that makes it a great place to sit, read, or have a good conversation. I’ve spent a lot of time here doing exactly that, and it always feels welcoming.
One thing that really stands out is the service. There’s a guy who’s usually there who always greets me with kindness, and that consistency makes a difference. It adds a personal touch that you don’t always find.
Overall, I highly recommend this place—especially if it’s your first time visiting. Definitely give the mole mocha a try!”

“I wish I'd known about this place sooner! Nice wine selections, delicious snack - the salted rosemary focaccia with tomato jam was terrific! Chanelle and Haru were welcoming hostesses, and the place was a very comfortable place to just hang & enjoy being where I was. I'll definitely be recommending it to friends, and I'm looking forward to my next visit!”
“Lovely dining experience, where hospitality and quality are abundant. The wine pairings are spectacular, but so is the non- alcoholic pairings. In particular, the candied thyme tea is a must try. Complex, delicious and perfectly paired. The experience is carefully timed, so show up to your reservation on time. Every table is a chef’s table. The duck preparation and through line in the meal is exquisite. The dessert of mint gelato, quince, and almond cookie was amazing. An inventive, delicious meal filled with care and attention to detail. Well worth a visit!!!”

“Every meal at Grana is fantastic. I love the Tonno, Nonna, wurst, Pancetta. There’s never been a bite I don’t enjoy. The blistered peppers and the citrus and fennel are also amazing.”
