“It's our favorite restaurant for special occasions. We love sitting in the bar area because they have live music. It's truly one of the best restaurants in Austin.”
“way too expensive. Atmosphere is Nice. ribs are soft and pull off bone with perfect bark, however too sweet for my personal taste. I like savory spicy. brisket was good but should have gotten marble like last time. last time flavor was better and meat was hot and fresher. sausage was a no for me personally it tasted grainy and was barely warm. Mac and cheese is good and husband said potato salad was a 3 or 4. best barbecue is Southside Market-Flavor, Henry's in Austin by the airport.”
“Just completed a tour of the Central Texas Barbecue Scene. Visited Snow's BBQ-Lexington, Louie Mueller-Taylor, Kreus Market, Smitty's and Black's-Lockhart, The Salt Lick- Driftwood and Franklin's in Austin. It was great seeing the venues and the family history at these historic sites. I visited Franklin's in the past and felt it was the best brisket I had ever eaten in my life. I am a skeptic when it comes to famous barbecue joints. I must say that Franklin's BBQ was far superior to all of the restaurants I visited with no one even a close second. Aaron's attention to detail from the service, choice of briskets, the cook, the wrap, the holding and even the slicing of the final product is evident in every aspect of his trade. I was lucky enough to run into him at the restaurant and he happily talked BBQ with me. Franklin's may not have the long history of muti-generational BBQ in Central Texas, but he has figured it all out at a level that I have yet to see equaled by the best venues in the country. This is a bucket list restaurant for those who really enjoy BBQ. It is well worth the wait in line”
“I reserved online for my daughter’s birthday and got into town an hour earlier and they still were able to accommodate us. At the table with the menus was a birthday card with a really nice and meaningful note on the inside. Staff, drinks, and food were amazing! Definitely recommend checking this place out.”

“Last night, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Estancia Brazilian Steakhouse, and from start to finish, it was an outstanding experience. While the food certainly lived up to expectations, it was the exceptional service—especially from Jerfer and David—that truly made our evening memorable.
From the moment we arrived, both Jerfer and David made us feel welcomed and taken care of. They were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring we had a great time. Their timing was impeccable, and they were always nearby when we needed anything, yet never overbearing.
The classic Brazilian steakhouse experience—endless cuts of perfectly grilled meat, brought straight to the table—was delicious, but it's that high level of hospitality that elevated the night. It's not often you encounter staff who go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect, and both Jerfer and David did just that.
My wife and I left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you're looking for not only great food but also top-tier service, Estancia is the place—and if you're lucky enough to have Jerfer and David as your servers, you're in for a fantastic night”
“My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our meal and the service at Dai Due. Everything we had was beyond delicious and we had a kind and attentive server who was able to answer our questions and her recommendations were on point. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!”

“Great food, staff, and live sports.”
“Best taco of my life! I’ve been keto for the last week or so, and I was really craving a taco. The owner said that she also has been keto before and suggested that instead of making a taco with a tortilla she could make it with cheese. I thought what the heck, I love cheese, so let’s give it a shot. She wrapped it up and told me I hope you enjoy. I had a full on mouthgasm. I told her I don’t think I ever wanna eat tacos with a regular tortilla again. This place knows how to make an amazing taco. Highly recommend!”
“This chic little spot on Lamar is a new favorite. Thanks for the fabulous dinner and service!”
“We've been to Freddo ATX a few times now, and it has been consistently delicious each time. The staff has been very helpful. Everyone has good energy, especially Jamal! They play great tunes, too :) It is definitely becoming our go to place before attending a show at the Paramount Theatre.”
“Blue Owl Brewing is a shining example of what it means to represent and care for your community. They make fantastic beer with a passion to share their knowledge and craft. And they are receptive to feedback and supportive in helping navigate requests for localization of their products especially in the Greater Austin area. Shop local!”
“Excellent food and service!! Definitely the best chilaquiles in Texas. My go to place for a filling and delicious Mexican breakfast. Love love this place!”
“Incredible. The drinks and food were insane. The broccoli dish we had was the best thing I've had in a long time. The service was also outstanding. Super pleased with our experience!”
“Some of the best food I’ve tasted. Those oysters are mind blowing! Great staff.”
“Lutie's Thanksgiving feast was a great experience. They had a fixed menu with all of the favorites, plus a deliciously indulgent appetizer crab dip with grilled bread. The starter spinach salad with the glazed, roasted pecans was sublime. The turkey was brined perfectly, with a light honey glaze, with delicious dressing and green beans and fresh rolls. Dessert was pumpkin pie that we all loved. They also had several creative and fun cocktails we enjoyed. The vibe was festive, and the service was warm and friendly, but not overbearing. A great place to have drinks, dinner or, even a Thanksgiving dinner.”

“I would like to respectfully start with; I’ve been to Uchi multiple times over the years and will never forget my first experience (which will always be the best in my mind.) That being said — tonight might have been the closest to first I’ve ever had. Chance, our server was attentive, knowledgeable, easy going, brought some of the best plates when we asked “bring us what you like/anything you think we missed” literally 12/10 would recommend. Ask for Chance, he knows his shiiiiiiii* and made our night absolutely amazing and something we will never forget!”
“We chose Ling Kitchen to celebrate a birthday. It was a dining experience that we will not forget. The staff were easy to communicate with and facilitate a food allergy, prior to arrival. Once you arrive, they will let you into a gated parking lot in the back. You will be greeted by the staff and shown to the front of the building where you will be received with champagne and tea. The dining room is one large family table directly in the kitchen.
The hosts will guide you through an exquisite 9 course tasting menu. The first 5 courses had a heavy seafood focus. Of these courses, the highlights were the seafood spread on top of a fried taro and the dumplings which had a delicious chicken filing accompanied by seafood. Moving on to the meat courses. The got better and better. The Peking Duck 2 ways that you turned into a bao slider was very good. The beef was cooked to perfection. It had a slightly sweet sauce, with a Thai basil pesto, and jellied fish and fried potato for texture. The main dishes concluded with our favorite of the night. It was a pork belly recipe that had been passed down through the family. The sauce was savory, salty, and sweet. The dish was accompanied by fried garlic and onions and a delicious black garlic leaf. The gold sheet on top was an added touch of elegance. The 5 small desserts that finished the meal were good, but nothing we would seek out again. This truly is one of the best dining experiences in Austin.”
“My wife and I had the best experience here for my birthday lunch, I'm so glad we chose this restaurant to eat at while in town for the Austin FC match! I can't say enough about the staff and the owner Joel who went out of his way to be extremely kind to us. Not to mention the food and drinks were so good. We'll definitely be back!”

“This is a small, cosy restaurant with a fusion of Mediterranean and Indian flavours using local, seasonal ingredients from Texas. The restaurant offers a four-course prix fixe menu with sophisticated and creative food (Time Out Worldwide) (The Texas Tasty).”

“K.R. took such good care of us, really refreshing to have such a nice server/good service these days. Went above and beyond, definitely created a couple new regulars. Atmosphere and food was so nice, we were walking by and had no idea the restaurant was tucked back in there!”
“excellent dining in a great atmosphere an awesome service sampled a bunch of tasting plates from the fish tacos to the bone marrow and the oysters even had a wonderful dessert with their homemade ice cream and bananas did I say that the service was awesome top notch five stars all day definitely a place to visit in Austin”
“Great experience! The chef definitely has years of experience in his craft. The food preparations are a work of art. The flavor combinations are impeccable. The chef explains each dish with great detail, including the process of aging certain fish. The flavor can't be explained. Try it for yourself. We'll deserved Michelin star. Will return.”
“We had such a great experience tonight! Kawthar was an amazing server. She was attentive, patient with all of our questions, and made sure everything came out just the way we wanted. She went above and beyond to make our birthday girl feel celebrated, and it truly made the night special. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests she’s serving. Thank you, Kawthar, for making our evening so memorable — we’ll definitely be back!”

“This was such a fun experience today! They serve fabulous food and a delicious tea selection in a fun space! Each of us received our own tea pots and chose two separate teas. Each pot had about 4 cups of tea in there, so we were able to share and try the different teas we each ordered. My favorite tea was the Coconut Oolong; it tasted like toasted coconut. The sandwhiches were delicious and the scone was delightful and the macaron melted in my mouth. My favorite was the Banoffee Pie: toffee, banana custard and a biscuit layered. It was so filling! Best of all, the owner is personable, talked to us, greeted us, waited on us and just radiates with energy! Every detail is just perfect. Everything was served in/on the cutest English china tableware. It really added to the experience. Can’t wait to go back!”
“Eberley made the absolute best Iced Bennu with pecan flavor. I asked her what the most popular iced coffee is and voila. WOW. I am making this my new meeting spot with friends - your 2001 East MLK location. Stay great and see you all soon! PS: I am a coffee snob and when I tell you this iced coffee was amazing, well, it was (smile). Great way to kickstart the day.”
“I have worked with Pretty Cute Coffee many times as they have catered various events for us at the University of Texas and am always pleased with their services. I appreciate their candor and attention to detail the most. Looking forward to having them cater many events in the future!”
“These are the best cookies! Not only do they look amazing, they taste great too. I highly recommend Christine for any event. She totally rocked our Safety Day cookies taking a few photos as ideas and amazed us with how well she executed exactly what we were looking for!! Can’t wait for another event to order more cookies :)”

“For our 101st 'cue stop in Texas, we stopped by this food truck on a Saturday morning. It was not at all busy, in sharp contrast to several of the other outlets in the court. We laid out $43.40 to purchase 2 biscuits with brisket and smoked strawberry jam. We added hash browns to each order ( 2 wedges per order). Although the biscuit was quite dry, the brisket was well prepared, and the smoked strawberry jam a real treat. But no plastic utensils were supplied, so we ended up scooping the jam up with our fingers. Bring your own utensils with you if you choose to visit! We're glad we came, but the price point struck us as very, very high for what we received-- too high for our wallets to absorb a second time.”
“We liked this place so much, we ate here twice during a long weekend in Austin. Everything we tried was excellent, from the baked goods to the salsa. Some of the best vegetarian fare I’ve ever had, and I’ve been veggie for nearly 25 years. Gracious, friendly service. Can’t recommend enough!!”
“Lovely spot. I liked the water carafe per table, and the flame was real. Laid back atmosphere-some larger tables, some smaller ones, and was lively but not too loud (I was able to read). The focaccia was fluffy and lightly flavored, Brussel sprouts flavorful, crunchy, and had a touch of salt. Tiramisu was unconventional, but I liked it. Rachel was lovely server-very nice, knowledgeable of the menu, and had great timing. They had a small bar, high top I believe, and a mix of tables and booths. Outdoor seating as well on the patio.”
“Came here for the first time and didn't know what to expect. There's a friendly staff here. I only came for Dubai chocolate, but I received a pleasant tasting pastry sample that led me to buy some other items as well.
I made sure to get my Dubai chocolate though, and wow - ITS DELICIOUS 😋.”

“I don't live in Austin I live in Midland but whenever I am there this is where I would like to go I have had the brisket it's the best ever”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“This food is amazing, and I'm not even vegan! Michael was super nice and gave me a free cookie. The BBQ plate looked, smelled, and tasted soooooo good. Vibes are great, and there's outdoor seating too for when it's not 105°F outside. Highly recommend for vegan and non-vegans alike!”
Fine Dining
“Great food again. They overbooked the reservations so we didn't get seated until 30 minutes after our reservation time. Bar was so busy we couldn't get a drink after waiting 15 minutes. The manager got a round for our group after I expressed my frustration about these service lapses which was a nice gesture.”
“It is a privilege to be sitting across from Chef Mike, who has absolutely destroyed my sushi-eating experience for other restaurants. I'm ruined for life! I've been to Craft, Toshokan, Sushi Bar, Otoko, Endo, and most other not omakase-specific restaurants (like Uchi, Tomo...), but nobody makes sushi the way Chef Mike does because his rice is special and served warm. The two super-nice people you see make up 100% of the staff. They don't even have a dishwasher. And did you know you're not even allowed to tip on the alcohol because they just want their customers to be happy? As a result, the best omakase in Austin, #18 most exclusive restaurant in the world, is also one of the cheapest! That's seriously insane.”
Cheap Eats
“We both loved our food. The person at the counter was very helpful in selecting the right dish and the food came quickly. It's authentic Mumbai food. So of you like that, you'll love the food here. We also ordered rasmalai, and you'll probably not find better rasmalai in this area. Oh and dis I mention how affordable everything is!”
“Good food and friendly service. My friends and I came here while visiting Austin. We chose patio seating because it was really nice outside during the morning. We got the French toast, avocado toast, BLT, a pumpkin pancake on special, and a side of hash browns. Everything was good and our server was great! It was busy for a reason. I recommend!”
“I was in Austin to see some family and we decided to go out to eat. Since they know Austin, they selected Pint House Pizza.
We arrived and it was very busy. It was easy to find parking because the parking lot's can spill over and to another area where the restaurant is located.
It was also easy to get to the front and put in a food order. Finding a place to sit, however, could be problematic, if it's busy.
There are 2 areas, 1 inside 1 outside and the seating is in long pinici tables style. So, if you don't mind sharing a table with someone you just met, you'll do just fine. If you do, then you may have to wait a little bit to get your own table. We asked, and shared a table.
Note, outside is pet friendly.
Our food arrived shortly after we found a place to sit. The pizza, we ordered a large Cannonball, was great tasting, presentation and went down really well.
I've added some pictures and videos and hope that if you are looking for a place to eat, you decide and choose this spot as I don't believe you will be disappointed.”
“In the vegan food truck park on Cesar Chavez which is a favorite spot. Possum specifically does “trash” pizza: thin crust with inspired, creative signature pies like the bac-n Mac and the Philly cheese steak which are two of my favorites. Check their instagram to see if they are going to be open. Text to order ahead”
“I know everyone is putting how amazing the burgers were but even for an old-fashioned hamburger, and I've rated many, these were quite dry and flavorless. I had the bacon cheeseburger with everything on it. Kids did love the fries. Just being honest, because what else is a review for, right?. However, the service was very quick, especially given how busy it seemed to constantly be. They had great sweet tea and the butterscotch shake hit the spot on a hot day. As for the atmosphere? I like how it hasn't changed much in 80 years so nostalgia is always a win for me and the prices weren't bad if compared to Whataburger up the way.”
“As always, for many years we’ve dined at Jeffrey’s and we are very pleased with the service and of course our food. Can’t say enough!”

“Scratch made Italian food. Yes, please! Everything was DELICIOUS. Excellent wines, and ridiculously good tiramisu. We will be back!”
“We had party order from Sangam for our event during May 14th weekend for 3 courses (1 Lunch and 2 dinner) for about 100 people. Shiva was working with me and helped with the menu making sure none of the courses repeat any items including papad. He made suggestions based on our preferences and also guided us with the count and other details. Each of the delivery was made promptly at the requested time. The food provided was scrumptious and quantity was more than sufficient. Each of our friends were pleased with the food. Shiva - you are the best to work with and Sangam team , keep up with the amazing food and quality service you all provide. #indianfood #yummytummy #sangamchettinad”
“Amazing food! Every dish we tried was DE-LICIUOS! Wait staff and hosts are lovely people. Atmosphere and vibe is warm and inviting here. My only suggestion for this restaurant is that they turn the volume down on the music. It really is WAY TOO loud. Other than that, visit often so that you can try the entire menu!”
“The food and service were impeccable. We had a a terrible expense at a competitors and left without ordering, we came to Dean’s and they seated us in the bar right away and proceeded to make our experience 10/10.”
“Only next level Japanese dining enthusiasts would be able to immediately recognize that they have chosen well. If you are lucky enough to discover the Happy Hour menu then you’ve hit the jackpot. Do yourself a favor and go because ain’t nobody have dry aged fish! What?!? Yes this separates Lucky Robot from the rest of the Japanese places in Austin. Put it on the bucket list folks!”
“good food and affordable prices. will get full str8 up And most definitely a mean cheese steak. Tha badest in tha City.”
“Great spot, friendly people. Get some of everything. Nothing disappoints.”
“Totally new world of tacos! Amazing flavors, unusual combinations, super fresh ingredients and perfectly prepare. Well deserved James Beard award!”
“We don’t come often as we don’t live near, but it’s always an amazing treat. Today we sat at the bar and Skyler was AMAZING! We had the large seafood tower, extra order of the scallop nigiri, pasta special, and it was all absolute perfection! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“The service was fast and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious! The best breakfast my wife and I have ever had!”
“I had such an amazing experience at the lounge because of my server Isa. She knew the menu inside and out and exactly what drinks would suit my taste buds. She was super friendly and the food was amazing! Will definitely be coming back.”
“This is hands-down, my favorite restaurant in Austin, if not honestly, the world. We come at least once if not twice a week the menu is extremely diverse in the staff are just absolutely delightful. We love Carmen, jasmine, Enrique, anola, Luis, BZ, Jacobi, and Adam. 10/10 reccommend”
“everything in life will be muted and dull until I return to Olamaie it is exceptional to the point that I have lost sense of punctuation and capitalization truly”
“very very organized, amazing staff, very clean.. best Brazilian place I've ever been to”
“Pinthouse is easily in my Top 3 Pizzas of All Time. The pepperoni and basil is a MUST try for first timers. The service is usually pretty great but occasionally they are a tad slow, however on those occasions the team has been really great about communication for the delays. The atmosphere is fantastic. They do have TVs if you are looking to catch a game!”
“The salad bar was really nice, I enjoyed the butternut squash soup. The dessert was amazing as well as all of the cuts of meat! The service was awesome as well. Highly recommend.”
“Excellent food and excellent service in a pretty cool building! Definitely would recommend!”

“Wow! What great eastern Mediterranean food! I don't like lamb and I had a lamb and beef appetizer that was soooo good. The whipped feta is amazing as well. We really enjoyed our first time here!”
“Visited Austin for a few days and looked up a brunch spot to hit up… the name caught my attention and it did not disappoint! The kimchi hash was phenomenal! And you can never go wrong w a smoked salmon bagel! We will definitely be back when in the area! Staff was attentive, nice and the atmosphere was great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“This is definitely my top BBQ truck in Austin. Everything is made with love and the meat is smoked to perfection. The ribs and amazing and the brisket and pork belly is phenomenal. Their cheesy noodles are also really good. The guys that work here are super friendly and knowledgeable about BBQ. Great outdoor trailer court location with TVs. I will keep coming back!”
“Vic and Al’s is something truly special. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re welcomed by an energy that feels alive…warm, inviting, and full of heart. The décor, the music, the atmosphere, every detail has been so thoughtfully created, and you can feel the love behind it all. The food is absolutely fantastic…every bite bursting with flavor and creativity. The bar menu is a mixologist’s dream. The staff was incredible — genuine, attentive, and passionate about making sure everyone feels at home. You can tell the owner has poured so much heart and soul into this place, and it shines through in every moment. Vic and Al’s isn’t just a restaurant…it’s a place where memories are made. I can’t recommend it enough! One of the highlights when I go visit my son!!”
“Great food, staff, and live sports.”
“We visited "STELLA SAN JAC" during our Austin trip... and we had a great time. We tried several of the best and most inspiring cocktails we've ever tasted. Manager Edwin put us at ease with the best comfortable service, and every cocktail he recommended we were very impressed with. I will definitely recommend my friends to visit this place, I want to go back and try the cocktail again on my next business trip.”
“We had a lovely dinner here! Food came out quickly, the staff was thoughtful and personable and kind (we love Miriam!), and it was so fun! We got the vegetarian feast, which was delicious, and topped it off with baklava. I will definitely come back!”
“Lillie & Carter!!! Phenomenal service. From beginning to end. It was our first time in and everything was great. Thank you for going above and beyond. We will be back!! - Jasmine & Cody”
“K.R. took such good care of us, really refreshing to have such a nice server/good service these days. Went above and beyond, definitely created a couple new regulars. Atmosphere and food was so nice, we were walking by and had no idea the restaurant was tucked back in there!”
“Tonight, my husband and I tried Uchiko for the first time. We had the Okamase. Everything was absolutely delicious. They put so much creativity and detail in every dish. We had a wonderful waitress. I would definitely recommend it.”
“Amazing. Must-go location in Austin! They serve up wonderful array of drinks, especially their icy coffee - Irish and otherwise. The Dead Rabbit also does coffee in the morning starting at 7am - their tiramisu coffee is a must have. Great food- their sliders are delicious. Wonderful service in a restaurant and bar with great ambiance. The team at the Dead Rabbit is so kind, considerate and friendly. Reasonable prices for an exceptional experience.”
“Red Ash never disappoints. We ordered the bread, squash blossoms, and Snapper crudo for starters - delish! We each ordered a pasta, all were delicious but the blue crab pasta was my fave (3rd time ordering - so much crab, little bit of red pepper - it's scrumptious!)”
“Marissa and Chloe were phenomenal bartenders. Marissa suggested The crispy chicken ranch with spicy Thai & it was great. The ambience was such a vibe. I’ll be back for some football and beer!!!”
“Every dish was great - the flounder, redfish, and fried chicken mains, the crunchy Brussles sprouts leaves side and Brussels Caesar salad, the glass jar of sublime chicken liver mousse with pickled onions and thin crunchy ciabatta toasts, and the sweet, crisp banana fritters with a superb vanilla ice cream. Our server, Sara, knew all about everything on the menu, and she made great suggestions on what to order. We enjoyed sitting outside on a lovely evening. All said, a perfect experience!”
“We visited tonari for their omakase. The service was good. The flavors were very satisfying and variegated. We loved all of it and so did everybody at the counter who were there at that time. Give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed”
“Warm welcome at the door and steady, attentive service throughout. Portions were filling and each plate showed real care in preparation. Highly recommend for a dependable dining experience.”
“I'm from philly and I was in town visiting family and we heard all the great things about this place. We are so happy we stopped by for the full experience. Pizza pasta and wine was all perfect. Service and atmosphere was unique and top tier”
“This was about our 5th time going and we brought our friends from out of town. We hyped up the Bucatini because it's one of our top 3 favorite dishes in Austin. It was a huge let down to find out that they removed it from the menu. I would give fewer stars because of how upset I am about the Bucatini being gone, but our food was good and our waiter Jeremiah was exceptional.”
“Food, drinks, service! Can’t beat any of it at Jack Allen’s! Our favorite spot for the past 10 years!”
“Our favortie restuarant in Austin, we love ordering a bunch of appetizers and do that often. WE both eat gluten free so this place rocks.”

“I've done a few omakase experiences and this one was definitely one to remember and affordable! Chef Endo did a great job and performance at the end. Definitely recommend :)”
“I ate here while in town for Afrotech! I started with the Sunomono Salad (Cucumber, green onion, crab stick, octopus, radish sprouts, sesame seeds with ponzu sauce). I then had two rolls: 1. Who’s Your Daddy? (no rice) (Deep fried crab, cooked shrimp, cream cheese with special sauce); 2. I Love Tuna (in: spicy Tuna, cucumber out: Blue fin Tuna, green onion sauce: Garlic ponzu, green onion, masago) EVERYTHING was amazingly good, the staff was very friendly, efficient, and ensured you had a great dining experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
“I don’t like pizza, however, this is the best pizza I’ve ever had! I love the pizza that comes with pears and prosciutto meat!”
“Lo mejor de lo mejor en todo y más el bartender que atiende es el número #1 excelente servicio y deli las bebidas DAVID el mejor!!!!!! 😍”

“Our experience was fantastic, from the excellent service to the fresh food. We really enjoyed the ambiance and will definitely be back. We ate at the counter and tthe restaurant does a great job staggering reservations so it didn't feel like there were others dining right next to us the entire time.”
“Tried this for the first time On a Saturday lunchtime in Pearland. Emmy was a delight as a server and very helpful to a first timer. The pizza (carnivore Detroit style) was amazing! They also sent a meatball appetizer on the house to my table. Highly recommend!!”
“Visited Magnolia Cafe in Austin, TX last weekend! Loved the warm atmosphere and the breakfast was great!”
“Wonderful establishment. Food is great . Gabriel Culiat will definitely recommend them to family and friends”
“Delicious food! We ate on the patio and everything was delicious. 10/10 recommend. Their meatballs in my main course were some of the best I have ever had!”
“First time here. Excellent service; very friendly wait ataff. Great selection of sake. Also beer & wine. Very good selection of sushi & sashimi. Very reasonable prices. My only suggestion would be to make the spicy sushi a bit spicier. If I lived in the area, I’d definitely be back!”

“Ramos is a great place to dine. I come here very often, sometimes 3 times a day. I've had most everything on the menu and have never had a bad meal. From breakfast to lunch to the special dinner meals, they all have that wonderful regional TexMex flavor you would expect from an establishment of this quality. I challenge you to give it a try. They won't disappoint.”
“I am brokenhearted, my favorite pizza restaurant is CLOSED. I did not even get a chance to say adios to my friends of 20+ years .... No warning just CLOSED..... The Black Lady who waited tables here for years had a heart of GOLD.The Pizza Chef was always excellent . I wish I could contact these fine, outstanding folks for one last TIP....”
“The food was good and the presentation was clean and creative. The sashimi and nigiri pieces were quite large—I ended up cutting them into bite-sized pieces with my chopsticks. The handrolls were a good size and easy to eat. The menu doesn’t offer much variety, but now I know: if I want more options, I’ll just go elsewhere. Still, a solid spot if you know what to expect.”
“Senorita Rosa thank you for making us feel like we were back home in El Paso TX. I highly recommend you give it a try food was so good we even forgot to take pictures.(oops). Hand made tortillas yummy. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. Thank you Rosa will be back soon. ( Dios la bendiga).”

“✨ Five-Million-Star Vibes at Caroline ✨ If I could bottle the magic of my first visit to Caroline on 7th & Congress, I’d wear it like a signature scent……truly bold, unforgettable, and absolutely divine. From the moment I walked in, the energy was electric. The greeting? Warm and welcoming. The atmosphere? Straight-up banging~~~~~think downtown chic meets effortless cool. Now let’s talk food: exquisite doesn’t even begin to cover it. Every bite was a love letter to flavor •••• rich, balanced, and plated like edible art. The creamy pasta dish? To die for. The vibrant salads? Fresh, fierce, and fabulous. Whoever’s running the kitchen deserves a standing ovation and a key to the city. Service? On-point with a capital P. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being fake, and timed like a well-rehearsed symphony. From the champagne to the check, it was smooth sailing with sparkle. I’m already planning my return ***** heels, appetite, and high expectations in tow. Caroline isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a whole mood. Highly recommend for anyone who loves their dining experience served with style, sass, and a side of downtown dazzle.”
“Angelica, was our server in July for my birthday and my goddaughter's birthday. Both times service was outstanding the calamari is amazing and the steaks sooooo good, I have never had a steak that tender before, Angelica made suggestions for my Goddaughter and she tried calamari for the first time. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“Great place, brought my wife for our anniversary and we really enjoyed ourselves. I reserved seating next to the balcony and had an amazing view of downtown Austin. The staff had really great customer service and service was quick and we received our drinks and food in a timely manner and not to mention they have us a complementary glass of champagne for the both of us. I recommend this place and will be returning.”
“I recently celebrated a special occasion with a party of 10 at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Our waiter, William, was incredible—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top-notch. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each entree was cooked to perfection; I had the Steak Diana and my husband had the Fried Elk and both of our entrees were incredibly delicious. We also had several of their appetizers and desserts, all were delicious. We were also pleasantly surprised by how quickly our meals arrived—only about 30 minutes after we ordered for a party of 10 on a Friday night! The large portions were more than enough to satisfy everyone, and I don’t think a single person at our table managed to finish their plate. Even though we couldn’t see Lake Travis due to it being late at night, the low lighting of the restaurant created a warm and intimate atmosphere. Their menus were easy to read, even in the low lighting, as they light up upon being opened. We were seated at the back of the restaurant and the floor-to-ceiling windows showcased the stunning lights of the Hill Country. We had a reservation for 7 PM and were seated right on time, which is always appreciated. Steiner Ranch Steakhouse has definitely earned its five stars, and I can’t wait to return for another amazing meal. Highly recommend!”
“Considering that I'm a vegetarian and this is (obviously) a very meat-y restaurant, this was a very good experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming, the decor is elegant, the semi-outdoor seating was pleasantly breezy on a hot day (I could do without the huge TVs, but that's me). I simply wanted to get a quick drink with an old friend and we chose Carve purely because of its location. We arrived during their happy hour (which starts at 3:00). We ordered a couple of tasty cocktails and an order of the cheesy cauliflower sticks -- delicious! The happy hour prices certainly made me happy, and the charming waiter checked back in at sensible intervals and remained good humored and attentive even when it must have become obvious that we were not going to be ordering more. I noticed that the menu includes some attractive vegetarian/vegan options and will bear Carve in mind for family celebration meals where there are carnivores as well as vegetarians to feed. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is that they failed to include the tip I thought I'd added to the credit card slip and I realized when I checked my account that I hadn't left a tip at all -- apologies if that was my fault!!”
“Roaring Fork has a great vibe — cozy, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed dinner. Our server, Kaliana, was awesome. She's new but super friendly and really made the experience better. The food was good overall. I ordered a burger that had great flavor, though I did find a piece of lettuce that had gone bad, which was a bit of a letdown. Everything else was solid. All in all, good spot with great service and a nice atmosphere. I'd definitely go back.”

“My fiancé and I stopped by for brunch and were so impressed — I’ve never rated a place 10/10 before, but this one absolutely deserves it! The food was incredible — my fiancé had the steak and eggs, and I had the Day Maker Classic. Both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also shared a side of pancakes, which were fluffy, delicious, and honestly some of the best I’ve had.
The coffee was amazing too — rich and smooth, not bitter at all. Our server (I believe his name was Ryan or Bryan) was super friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.
Everything from the food to the service and atmosphere was perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Austin. ☕🥞🍳”
“Food was decently good, we did the fixed menu and had some good options, but one dish was just pickles, the flavors of a snapper dish with a mole style sauce just overpowered the fish, and was over $250 for two people with a couple drinks. The drinks were a redeeming aspect, we tried 4 and all were fantastic. For the price/reputation I was sorely disappointed. This shared plate/tapas style with flair is common in Austin, and I think there are much better options that I will likely be going to instead.”
“The omakase was in my top 3 culinary experiences in Austin. I dream of the O Toro and Hokkaido Scallop. The Chicharron Negi Toro & Tostada blew my mind & taste buds. The flavor combos were innovative & supremely tasty. Even if you've been to high end omakases in Austin, I doubt you've seen a blend of cultural flavors as you can experience here.
The variety of flavors & techniques used to embellish certain dishes was impeccable. If I had to give a score, all dishes were at least an 8.5/10 or above. Some even reached a 9.5 or 10 in my mind. You would think that fusing the essences of such distinct cuisines can be jarring or strange, but the cohesion/balance of the flavors & textures were just right.
The atmosphere was very laid back and the space was well sorted despite the nondescript location. It felt upscale but casual as all the patrons were chit chatting a bit. They had some good tunes playing in the back as well. You can tell the crew was enjoying themselves as well.
Though the price is high as with any premium omakaze experience, it was 100% well worth the money. I do hope to come back in the near future.”
“I've been there twice already! It's soo good! I would recommend getting the chili oil wontons, green beans, and black and pepper udon. There are different spice levels (they don't say this) but I think default is wayyyy to spicy.
The first time I ordered the black and pepper udon, the flavor was sooo good BUT it was too spicy to enjoy 😭 second time I got it mild, and it was perfect... So good!!”
“I came here based on a high volume of recommendations/praise. Being Korean, I take my Korean food seriously. That being said, the food is solid. The overall experience is comparable to other places like Chodang Tofu House with a bit more modern decor. The Cold Arrowroot Noodle, Galbi, and Tofu Soup were all good, but not outstanding. The Arrowroot Noodle's broth was slightly lacking in flavor & depth, but still good for Austin standards. The Galbi is about what you can expect, decently good. The Tofu Soup was solid, but wished it had more protein, but the spice levels were on point.
Service was nothing out of the ordinary, not bad not outstanding. The atmosphere was nice enough & brightly lit, but perhaps a bit too open feeling due to the giant open floor plan not broken up in any way.
Value-wise, I personally would not order the Arrowroot Cold Noodle + Galbi combo, but could see myself ordering the Tofu Soup.
Overall, the hype is a little out of hand, but the food is fairly good. Try it out, but I will stick to going to Chodang Tofu House which is physically closer to me.”
“This place is so aesthetically pleasing, perfect for photo ops and a girls night out dinner! I had their chilaquiles along with their queso blanco con chorizo! Super authentic taste! They do serve their breakfast menu all day! Our waiter was very kind and gave recommendations. I went with 2 other coworkers who got the Kickin Chicken and they both liked it too! Definitely going back soon to try some more entrees and drinks!”
“Always a great experience when we come here. Carla is pleasant and smiling when we walk in. Harvey always makes sure everything is good. We love the staff here. If you haven't been, it's a must try. You won't be disappointed. The brisket and the ribs are my go to every time.”
“I loved everything about this restaurant! Atmosphere, food and especially the customer service! I just wanted to give a shout out to the Manager Jesus. His engagement with my husband and I was the best. And for him we will continue on coming in. We live in Dripping Springs and drove all the way there to have lunch. We left feeling so happy. Just food for thought please open a restaurant in Dripping Springs. We have to drive 45min to an hour outside of Dripping just to have a nice lunch.”
