“I decided to give this spot a try for lunch while serving jury duty; and, I'm glad I did!Terrific food only surpassed by its friendly, engaging service (I believe a Mom and her son were working). This is gem more people who visit Riverside should discover- clean, kind and good food.Ordered a turkey on wheat sandwich, chips and a soda.I wasn't really expecting anything amazing but this sandwich was delicious! All the major sandwich chains/ shops could learn TONS about how to make and present a sandwich. The bread was terrific and all the ingredients tasted very, very fresh. I couldn't have made a better sandwich at home!I'm not in downtown Riverside much but I definitely now have a favorite sandwich shop to visit. Well done!”
“Awesome time! Great live music by ICE COLD CRAZY! Today in Leduc, come down and have a good time!”
“Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I really did not enjoy my burger. But they do have a lot of burgers ”
“Great breakfast/brunch location. Gravy is phenomenal!Kid-friendliness: It’s a bar first and foremost, so minors not allowed.”
“Lyra Lou Cakes, crafted by the talented Arpita, is a confectionery haven. The cakes, including the delightful cupcakes I ordered, are a testament to Arpita's culinary prowess. Lyra Lou masterfully blends flavors, creating a symphony for the taste buds. The cupcakes, in particular, were a miniature masterpiece—each one a burst of sweetness and artistry. Arpita's dedication to her craft is evident in every bite, as I ordered cakes before as well than special mention Aman , Prabh, Arpita and Lyra making Lyra Lou Cakes a go-to for those seeking an extraordinary dessert experience.”
“Best coffee in Ellis County! Finally we have someone who understands that quality, fresh coffee beans (roasted just days ago) make the best cup of coffee. Love this ”
“The food is great. The people taking the orders are so friendly and wonderful. My only thing is that it’s super dusty above the kitchen area where you order from. Also the hanging string lights have dust hanging from them. Feels like it can drop in your dish. Also the windows need to be cleaned between diners. Food from little hands on the windows. The vent by the cooking area is filled with dust. Often I come at times when it’s not busy and the staff are talking amongst themselves and no one is cleaning. It needs a really good dusting and more attention to cleaning.”
“The brisket is literally the best brisket I've ever had. The brisket fries are a regular favorite. They are smothered in creamy cheese sauce and beans. SOOOO good. You can't go wrong. My only suggestion is an update to the mac and cheese (maybe smoked mac and cheese?! ;) )”
“Wonderful friendly service and a good atmosphere to bring friends or family. The food was okay but it seemed a bit overpriced. One meal for 2 adults and 2 small kids was already $97. When appetizers averaged above $15 which is what I am used to paying for a main entree it makes me not want to come as often despite the decent cooking.”
“Amazing especially for this area. Philly cheese the way I asked for it the chopped cheese delicious just get some sazon and adobo on the meat and your golden. Use to work in a bodega lmk I will show u all I want is a discount on the food.”
“What a lovely place to have afternoon tea! And they offer a smaller cream tea (tea, scones, jam, and cream) as well as high tea, which is wonderful as I can never eat everything served for high tea. Service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is relaxing, prices are more than reasonable, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. (They also support the Wes Strong Foundation, something very close to my heart.) My one suggestion would be to serve clotted cream instead of the York cream, which I found a bit too sweet, but that's my personal taste buds. I definitely will be back to try the quiche !”
“Friendly, family oriented neighborhood Italian restaurant. Seating, ambiance, and wait staff were exceptional. The food was served hot and delicious. The relaxed atmosphere allowed us to enjoy our meal. We highly recommend the Villa Capri Ristorante.”
“My favorite tiramisu in Bham! And I'm sure more favorites are in my future at Tutti Freschii - I barely scratched the surface of their offerings when I stopped in, after coincidentally seeing their sign when I was in the area. The madeleines are the one item that were not to my taste - they were a bit dry IMO - but the carrot muffin and especially the tiramisu, were excellent. The lemon bar was also very good. Now that I know they exist I'll go out of my way to visit for treats (or for meals, I didn't even notice at the time that they also serve savory items).”
“Tried the Carolina BBQ sandwich and the Rueben. Both were sooo good! And the garlic fries! You’ve got to try them! I was in garlic heaven.”

“We went for a quick dinner tonight. The service was great and the food was delicious! The portions are perfect even for our hungry teenager. Always a favorite!”
“Great food. Quick service even on a busy night. Friendly staff. Parking sucks, but overall great experience. Most tender collards greens in the area!Parking: We came at a busy downtown time 5:30-6:00pm. Limited parking on the street. Found a spot in the David parking garage.”
“Pho broth is very nice. The meat was also very good, I got the sense that it was a good quality. There was a generous portion of noodles. Service was quick and very attentive. Place is clean, brand new decor, and the place had a nice energy to it with the Friday dinner rush.”
“Great food, great coffee, great service. So many flavors to choose from which is really great. I personally love the pistachio latte :)”
“First time we tried the strawberry horchata (rice, milk, cinnamon) and it was amazing. Came back the very next day and tried the cucumber & lime and hibiscus & strawberry agua fresca and they were hits. We also tried the fresas (strawberry) con crema (with cream) topped with granola and coconut flakes and it was soo good. Can’t wait to visit again and hopefully try some new items.”
“The waiter was insanely good! Best waiter I had in a while! I can say though that the salad needs more dry dressing. The staff keeps checking on us and I love it. I highly recommend this place”
“Its a really good restaurant. The food is good and the vibe is nice too. Will come again.”
“I'll definitely be returning in the future. The pork was flavorful and juicy and the eggs were runny just how I like it. The strawberry matcha is the best I've ever had and visually appealing too. Staff is fast and efficient.”
“We were excited to see a new food choice in the neighborhood. The food tasted great and we were impressed with the large number of staff. The restaurant hasn’t been open long but if they keep that “opening enthusiasm” going they will impress the more skeptical folks who were concerned about “another chicken place” 5 Stars tonight. Very impressed! See pics!”
“The burrito at Super Burrito really lives up to its name. Really good. As good as Santa Fe if not better.”
“This place is amazing right on the river with beautiful views and great food I had the Philly burger it was amazing ! My wife had the country roc chicken it was so good and to top it off we had the peanut butter pie ? we will be back can’t wait for the summer outside bar !”
“My girlfriend was having a facial, so I was wondering around and found this place. They served Dengs dumplings and a good cocktail. When downtown will return. Great vibe.”
“Awesome! I highly recommend. I stopped by for lunch & to work during the day & it hit all the marks, went again for dinner on the weekend & I’m a bonafide regular now for sure!”
“Fantastic vegan food and Fantastic service. Got a couple of pizza slices and some lasagna, all of it was fantastic. The service was super friendly and variety of vegan choices is great. You can tell everything is handmade and they care about making quality food. Will be back again and again.”
“I feel like every year this changes for me, however THIS place is the best sandwich shop in town, hands down. Nestled in a very small and intimate shop where if you're eating in you're rubbing elbows with people at a standing room only high top, this place had even a socially anxious person like myself not mind sharing a counter top with strangers. I still had shame over taking pictures in a public place, but that wore off once I bit into the first of my two sandwiches. My favorite of the two was the Porcini-rubbed prime rib (#2) with horseradish crema and cippolini onions. I would slap most of you for another one of these. Tender, nice kick brought by the horseradish - wonderful. I got in before the rush, and since it's such a tiny space with such a deserved hype behind it, you're most likely gonna have a short wait for your order, but trust me it's worth it.”

“My wife and I had dinner with her having the original grand slam and Zi had the T-bone steak with mashed potatoes and a nice bread with a large salad. It exceeded my expectations. The waitress, Amiya, was most efficient. My wife had the cold brew coffee but it was too potent for her taste. I would definitely have this steak again and shared some bites with my wife so she could get a sample.”
“Always fast and fresh. Shrimp anything is great. Fried rice always good as well as vegetables. My favorites: shrimp and vegetables and their house soup.”
“In town for business for two days and regret the restaurant that was recommended for dinner; thought the golf course atmosphere might be nice, too--wrong! Boy, Chasers made up for it; had I known better, I'd have been happy to eat at Chasers both nights. The atmosphere is my kind of comfortable; great country music selections playing and loved hearing the joyful din and conversations of the locals as background noise. It seemed many knew one another. I wish I got my server's name to give her credit for exceptional, prompt service with such a smile. I ordered the salmon blackened. Now, I'd say it was more bourbon-glazed and if it was, what a beautiful mistake -- whatever they want call, who cares, it was great! Side salad was huge, fresh and really good. Onion rings, OMG! Hand-battered, house recipe and their house sauce--killer combo! The onion rings truly are special. If my business travels allow me to return or be within an hour's drive, I know where I'm going for dinner. You folks will be mentioned whenever I get to share my travel stories with friends or family or anyone willing to listen. Lastly, in these days of high inflation, I believe tmy dinner and experience were a real value. I wish I had a Chasers in my neighborhood back home.”
“Tacos are delicious best in town”

“Had my birthday dinner here. Great salad bar and desserts. Prime rib was exceptional! Cooked to perfection. (MRare).Happy staff very pleasant! Thanks, Janice and Dan 🥳”
“The service is great. The people were friendly. The burgers and fries were delicious. I would recommend the double GBB with garlic Parmesan fries. The burger was juicy and the fries were great. The plain cheese burgers and fries are great also. I also got a side of ranch, spicy ranch and bae’s sauce all great. The sauce was extra but worth it. This place is small (limited sitting). The combos are about 16-20 per person but it is worth the money. I’m definitely going back.”
“Low Country Combo was great! Service was prompt and friendly. Definitely one of my new go to places.”
“Home , RGV to visit family, craving for BBQ and cousin suggested Ace’s BBQ figuring they knew what I loved. At Edinburg location the place was kinda hidden finding out it was well worth it… brisket was super moist, sausage was on spot, as was the pork having ordered the the huge 3 meats botana plate served over tortilla chips w/ melted cheese (I was hooked)! Well presented and served and you got my business when I return home 3 times a year over Rudy’s.. Great Job and keep it up!.. Sides were very good but I was there for the meats.”
“My partner and I just enjoyed a yummy supper at Shelby's. I had the beef/lamb wrap and she had the veggie Maqkluba. We thoroughly enjoyed them and she had enough food for a full meal tomorrow. If you like hot, fresh food, Shelby's is the place for you;.”
“Amazing food at a great price! This experience was made even better by Toy’s great service!”

“The fella who’s always behind the counter (I assume he’s the owner) is just the best, he’s a super hard worker and everything is always quality. It’s also super affordable, not Park Slope prices. I very much appreciate a solid NY deli that isn’t outrageously priced.”
“Portion size, juices, and great customer service oh my! I would definitely recommend this hidden gem for having one of the best breakfasts I've had in Los Angeles-- especially the valley. I got the croissant French toast and the vampire Agua Fresca 10/10”
